Chapter 918 - Big Talk or Big Trouble?

Yun Jin lifted her eyes slightly, a trace of surprise flashing across her gaze. It had only been an hour since she left the Tower of Truth, and they couldn't resist coming here already?

Seems like the pull of traversing space is even stronger for Void Mirage World cultivators than she'd imagined. She smiled faintly, her voice carrying out clearly, "Please come in."

Only then did the five elders step into the cave. Right now, their expressions were all a little strange as they looked at Yun Jin.

The Grand Elder couldn't help but ask, "Sect Master Yun, that anomaly just now?"

Yun Jin blinked, "It's nothing. Probably the River of Laws in the Vast Azure World stirred the competitive nature of the River of Laws in the Void Mirage World, so they briefly intertwined."

She didn't explain why the River of Laws from the Vast Azure World had suddenly appeared here.

The Grand Elder's expression flickered but she didn't ask further. She just smiled and said, "In any case, we should thank you for stirring the River of Laws. We've all benefited greatly."

Yun Jin replied, "I've gained a bit too."

The Grand Elder's eyes flickered slightly. She'd come here hoping to strike a deal with Yun Jin. No need to mention the rest. When it came to understanding the Law of Space, she was far ahead of Yun Jin. On this topic, she could easily offer Yun Jin some guidance. That way, their relationship would grow closer, making cooperation much smoother.

The Grand Elder couldn't help but show a gentle smile. "Sect Master Yun, you've just stepped onto the threshold of the Law of Space. I've studied it for years. If you don't mind, share your insights, and I'll see if I can help."

She was offering to guide her!

Yun Jin's eyes brightened, and she didn't refuse. She had so many questions about the Law of Space, having a guide would be perfect.

"I've just grasped three of the Laws," Yun Jin said.

Just grasped three Laws?

The elders all chuckled.

The Law of Space isn't like other Laws. It's one of the only two supreme Laws. Even the lowest-level Law in this path is sky-high in difficulty.

Someone as powerful as the Grand Elder had barely mastered two: the Space Shield, Space Conversion, and Space Fluctuation.

Even these three were still low-level. Upgrading to medium-level would take ages.

So, Yun Jin's big talk was hilarious.

An hour of study, and she thinks she can catch up with the Grand Elder's millennia of work?

Impossible.

The Grand Elder smiled, "Go ahead, show me. I'll see where you can improve."

Yun Jin nodded with trust and activated Space Scan. Within its range, even entities hiding in the void would be revealed. Every secret laid bare.

The elders' smiles froze instantly. This feeling of being completely exposed!

They all glanced at the Fifth Elder.

This seems like…

The Fifth Elder muttered dazedly, "Space… Scan?"

She'd barely mastered this Law herself.

But Yun Jin's proficiency seemed even deeper than hers… and she'd spent…

One hour???

Even with the River of Laws, this was absurd.

"No way. This can't be. I must be sensing it wrong."

The Fifth Elder muttered to herself frantically.

[Emotional Value +500*99.]

[Emotional Value +500*99.]

[Emotional Value +500*99.]

The system screen was flooded with Emotional Value.

Yun Jin froze. Guess it's true what they say about Tianxian-level power. Or maybe, new lambs are just easier to fleece. The Emotional Value these five elders gave her was almost equal to tens of thousands of ordinary people.

"Did I use this Law wrong?" Yun Jin asked earnestly. "Please, feel free to tell me. I can handle it."

Silence filled the cave.

Even the Fifth Elder momentarily forgot to mutter.

They all screamed in their minds.

She can handle it.

But they can't!

Centuries of effort surpassed in a single moment, the feeling was painfully sour.

The Grand Elder struggled to stay composed, carefully asking, "Then your second Law of Space is?"

Yun Jin nodded and casually picked up a stone.

Under the Law's effect, the stone suddenly swelled like an inflated balloon. She flicked her finger lightly, and it returned to its original size.

This was another application: Space Scaling.

Yun Jin said embarrassedly, "Sorry, I've only just scratched the surface. Right now I can only scale inert objects. Living beings or energized objects, I can't manage yet."

She looked sheepish as if she felt useless.

Silence filled the cave.

But Yun Jin's mind was buzzing. No wonder, Tianxian-level power's Emotional Value is limitless.

"What do you think, Second Elder?" everyone looked at him.

Space Scaling was his Law.

"Please, guide me," Yun Jin said, full of anticipation.

The Second Elder's lips trembled. After a long pause, he said, "I… what… what's your third Law again?"

He couldn't possibly tell Yun Jin. He sometimes still failed when applying it himself, didn't he?

Yun Jin let him change the subject. She chuckled, "My third Law is a bit dangerous, I think."

"Dangerous? Don't worry. We're all at least late-stage Tianxian. No matter the danger, we're not afraid," the Second Elder said, patting his chest confidently.

Yun Jin nodded, "Then I'll show it."

"Give it your all!" he said with confidence.

Without hesitation, Yun Jin drew a mysterious trajectory with her hand through the air. Next moment, an invisible rift appeared out of nowhere.

The cave collapsed in an instant.

"I… I'm out!!!"

"Boss, help!!"

Screams and wails filled the air.

After a while, the Grand Elder protected everyone with a space shield, glaring at the Second Elder.

This jerk talks a big game but cries for help in practice. Pathetic.

The Second Elder could only weep silently.

Family…

Who could've imagined?

It was only an hour!

Not a thousand years!

Not ten thousand!

Who could've guessed Yun Jin would master such a powerful space attack?

Even Yun Jin herself was shocked by the Void Rend's power. This was just a tiny branch of the Law of Space, yet it was subtly stronger than the Five Elements Laws.

Supreme Law. Terrifying!

"Are you all okay?" Yun Jin asked, embarrassed by their dust-covered, beaten-up appearances.
