"You can call me Jacob, the leader of the Night Raptors, an A-rank mercenary group, and the reason your army failed to take Guel," I said, making Sir Alven freeze for a moment. That news was only for the need to know. So the fact that this boy knows it means he is from Leblanc. "So you're from Leblanc." He said, making everyone gasp in shock as I smiled and nodded before I spoke. "I hope you give me a better fight than the one that led that army, but from the looks of it, you won't," I said, tilting my head and smirking, making the big guy who stabbed Tina's husband laugh. "You think you're a hero, that could defeat an army. Child, you haven't even stopped drinking from your mother's breasts." The moment those words left his mouth, the heart-beating sound echoed in my ears.
"Let me ask you, Sir Alven, who was the man leading the army other than the princess?" I said, making him raise an eyebrow before speaking. "His name was Sir Richard." He said as I smiled and pulled out a head, making the Knights gasp, even the big guy took a step back. "Is this the one called Sir Richard?" I said, making him gulp and nod. "So, fat fuck. You aren't even in this dead man's league. Why the fuck are you talking to me? A loser needs to know his place." I said, looking at him as I pointed a finger at him, and lightning shot out from my finger, blowing his head off as his body fell to the ground with a thud.
Wrapping the three girls in wind element magic, I jumped back up onto the clock tower as the knights screamed out. "You coward, you are running away!" They shouted out, making me break out in loud, echoing laughter. "Running away, no, I am letting my beast have the fun for now," I said as the light from the fires slowly dimmed and the people slowly felt an eerie calm spread out, making the kids run back to their homes. "Everyone, by natural instinct, is afraid of the dark. Sir Alven, do you know why?" I said as the lights from the buildings slowly couldn't reach past their parches as he opened his mouth. "I do not know." He said, sweating as I smirked.
"When humans started out and didn't have fire, the night was a dangerous time for them. Because at night they could be hunted by animals they could fight off during the day." I said as a scream rang out behind the knights, making them turn around, but I couldn't see what happened, only movement going past a home in the darkness. Then another scream echoed, making the knights panic until a priest walked up and raised his stave. "OH HOLY LORD DISPEL THIS DARKNESS!" He screamed out, lighting up the whole village as they looked upon a knight. "SAVE ME!" He screamed only to be bitten in half as his legs from the knees down and his shoulders and head fell to the ground as the Carno roared out.
The ground shook as the other nine Carno's stepped out of their hiding spots along with the raptors this sight scared the villagers and the Knights as about half of them dropped their swords and tried to run for the horses some even mounted them only for them and the horse to be picked up and bitten in half like the Kinghts before. I didn't waste arrows on them as I wanted the Carnos to gain experience more then the Utahraptors or myself so I stood back watching only firing an arrow at Sir Avlen when he tried to attack a dinosaur, keeping him out of the fight I made sure to pick one person to stay alive and I choice the one that coughed the first day I got here. It was a small act, but one that made me want to keep him alive.
The Knights fell fast as the Carnos were already high-level monsters from birth, and from the looks of these knights, they wasted more time drinking and fucking than training. But I am not one to throw stones while living in a glass house, as I jumped down as the Knight I was going to spare was cornered, and Sir Alven was the only two alive now. "Now it's just use two, Sir Alven. I want to use you as a sparring partner to train in the spear, so please entertain me for a while before I kill you. As for you, I will not kill you as repayment for saving Tina and me the first day I got here." I said, looking at the Knight who was frozen in fear.
I pulled out the spear I got from the bandit and put up the bow and quiver before pulling it out of the ground, and walked towards the already panting and sweating Alven. "Shall we have some fun?" I said before rushing him with lightning elemental magic, making him block as he slid back from my attack, before he swung his sword as I blocked and parried it before sending a kick towards his thigh, making it land as he pushed back with a limp. But I didn't give him any time to breathe as I sent a thrust towards him.
He dodged as his leg gave out, causing me to turn the spear and hit his side with the other end. This sent him flying into a building, where he broke the wall as it fell onto him—pointing a hand towards him sending a fire ball towards him making him roll out of the way as I pulled the fire off the wood as I didn't want to burn someones home down as he panted on his knee making me smile as I started to bounce on my toes before looking over at Tina and the girls who looked at me in wonder and amazement as I spoke. "Sir Alven, is this the best you can do? I heard you were the sixth strongest warrior in this Empire. From the looks of it, I shouldn't be afraid of the higher ones, as I am not even trying at this point." I said, making him grit his teeth as he spoke.
"I will pay you triple what the Leblanc Empire is paying you to spare my life." He said, making the villagers gasp and start to redacule him. "I am not doing this for the money," I said, walking towards him. "You're Army and nobles destroyed my village and raped the ones I cared about. This isn't about the money; this is about blood, and I will kill every soldier, Knight, warrior, mage, and any other person who belongs to this pathetic Empire's Army. I was debating on killing its people, but I found out that the common people aren't that much different from my village." I said, looking at Tina, who had just realized that her kindness saved the people of this village.
He stood up and glared at me. He knew that his fate was sealed, but he would die on his feet, making me nod as I smiled. "At least you live with the honor of a Knight, not that of just a pathetic rapist," I said moving the spear into attack as I wrapped myself in lightning and wind elemental nature, as I pushed off the ground and in a split millisecond, my spear poked through his mouth and out the back of his skull. He looked at me in shock as I pulled the spear out, and he dropped his sword before falling over. The sixth strongest warrior fell to me as I put away the spear and picked up his sword before grabbing his hair and cutting off his head.
I walked over to the last Knight and looked at him, throwing Sir Alven's head and then pulling out the other head, tossing it to his feet. "Take these back to your Army's leader, tell him I shall be hunting his Army every step of the way. Every night, his men will scream out in horror as my beasts feed upon their flesh and guts. Every night, they will quiver inside their tents, wondering if this is the night they will be eaten. Let the Hunt begin." I said before calling for two Utahraptors, putting the three girls on one, and I mounted the other one.
"Where do you think you're taking Tiffany?! You evil Leblanc!" Yelled the boy who had been giving me a hard time. "With me, I promised to look after them and I keep my word. Plus, if I am evil, what does that make you? When she needed help, you looked away out of fear. If I am evil, then why did the Knights of your own Empire kill her father and try to rape her and her family? I may be born a Leblanc, but being born something doesn't define if you're good or evil. It's how one acts that defines it, and you failed her when she needed you the most. You aren't worthy of her." I said before, looking at Tiffany as she smiled gently and nodded her head as I spoke to Tina. "Do you wish to stay here or go back with me? I can promise you that you and the girls won't have to work a day in your lives anymore," I said, making Tina think for a moment and then nod.
"But can we take my husband's body and give it a proper burial when possible?" She said, making me nod and wrap his body in wind magic before storing it in the bag as we sped off into the night.
