Chapter 7 - Ep.7 Pure Chaos

Juan's golem army kept spreading like an endless expanding spider web and the beasts caught in the web had no hope of surviving.

Even the other high scoring interns tried to band together but their efforts were in vain as their group only just hit over 50,000 points while Juan's team score was nearly triple that with no sign of stopping.

"How can we win at this rate! This is so infuriating!"

Eddie Geddle, an archer whom scored the 5th highest in the mana test was visibly angry as an advanced Golden Mole beast was just taken from him by Juan's golem.

Even Sariel and Ethan were having difficulty getting the chance to fight strong beasts as most of the advanced beasts were either already being hunted by other interns or were already killed by Juan's golems.

"We have to do something or we're never going to get first place! We have to take care of the problem at its source."

"Fighting among interns isn't against the rules but will we be able to beat Juan? He has already shown that he has excellent skills and vast powers."

Sariel was the more cautious of the two but that didn't mean Ethan was blind to the dangers as he still remembered the beat down he took from just one of Juan's golems.

"Every skill has its drawbacks no matter how much it has. Juan must be expending vast amounts of mana to the golem army."

Ethan's assessment was logically sound but Sariel was still hesitant. But Howard and Steven whom were also apart of the group were enthusiastic about the idea of beating up Juan's group.

"All they have for offensive players is Juan and Sara. We can just take the non-combatants hostage and force Juan to surrender from the test."

"Brilliant plan! Afterwords maybe we can even force Juan to hand over his magic bag!"

The morale of the group was on the rise but Sariel was still worried as she used her clairvoyance Skill to look at Juan and quickly noticed that Juan was staring right at her as well with a smile.

'How can he see through my clairvoyance!? Is that even possible?!'

Sariel was a double mana core spectral ether mage which was incredibly rare. She had a incredible talent for mana control and was able to triple cast even Advance spells but in the face of Juan those accomplishments seemed quite small.

So while Sariel stayed in the back line of the group she used a clone to take her place and slip away undetected by anyone… apart from Juan who looked in a cracked mirror and saw the remainder of Sariel's group walking through the forest.

Sara whom had finished constructing her Mana veins looked at the mirror and came to a conclusion fitting of the second highest ranking intern.

"They're coming here right? It's what I would do if I were them."

Juan infused mana into his hand and slammed it into the earth before nature itself started to bend to Juan's will.

"It would be rude not to accept their invitation. This will also serve as training for your spells but first let's get you that Supreme Rank beast."

Sara's eyes lit up like fireworks before Juan pulled something from his bag which left her visibly confused and angry.

The creature was a ball of slime or to be specific it was a Mimic Slime.

"Your saying that a weak little slime will be my supreme Beast? Are you joking with me right now?"

Juan held the slime in his hand before it turned into a sword and then a shield.

"Never underestimate even the most simplest creatures. This is a Mimic Slime, once attuned to your Mana it can change its form according to your will. Anything it becomes will be on par with a Master Rank item."

Juan had found a Mimic slime by accident and showed his discovery with Thane and his sister before they asked for one as well.

It truly was the best Supreme beast by even the most abnormal standards.

Most Master Rank gear are strong but most of them are fragile so to find a durable Master Rank weapon was truly a valuable thing.

But Juan wasn't done as he Dropped the Mimic Slime on the ground and moments later there were two Juan's.

"What the!? There's two of you?"

Both Juan's simply smiled and spoke in unison with confused not just Sara but the others too.

"This is the true strength of the Mimic Slime. It has the ability to become a complete clone of you. It has your memories, skills, equipment and half of your strength at your peak condition."

"This is the true strength of the Mimic Slime. It has the ability to become a complete clone of you. It has your memories, skills, equipment and half of your strength at your peak condition."

Sara's eyes now were filled with greed as she was about to reach for the slime. However Juan collected the slime into his bag and pulled out a regular slime.

"In order to get a Mimic Slime you will need to fulfill several conditions. Only after the conditions have been met can you raise the slime into a Supreme Rank."

Although she was annoyed that she couldn't just get the Mimic Slime immediately she listened to Juan list the conditions needed and felt her soul leave her body.

"First you will have to infuse 3 Tons of Orichalcum and Mythril with your Mana until they become Inbued. Then you'll need 10 A-Rank Monster Cores and 30 S-Rank Cores. All cores need to be from a single monster type meaning if you collect Dragon cores then you'll need to only collect dragon cores."

Juan looked at Sara and saw the light leaving her eyes before he opened his bag.

"I told you didn't I? That I would get you a Supreme Rank beast during this test didn't I?"

Sara's eyes widened as Juan pulled out the exact amount of materials needed including the cores.

Sara guessed Juan had used Alcemy to collect the Orichalcum and Mythril but she was shocked to see the monster cores.

"How did you get so many S-Rank cores?! Even a single one can cost nearly 50 million!?"

Juan casted a shield over the cores before Sara could touch them and formed a bed of stone to rest on.

"I got them when I summoned a Ancient Golem army that's how I got the cores for my mimic. Start with infusing the Mythril and Orichalcum then we'll move onto contracting the beast."

For someone as talented as Sara infusing her mana into raw materials were easy to do but the sheer amount of materials were not a small amount.

But just as Sara was about to voice her concerns Juan spoke.

"You have a Triple Mana Core so your proficiency will be nearly tenfolds compared to when you had a Double Mana Core. You have about two hours left until the test is over so I'd be quick about it."

Sasha and the others wondered if Juan was giving a lecture while the had started to form the start of their Triple Mana cores.

Because Juan started listing how intricate the process was to get a Mimic slime.

"In order to ensure that the slime is almost indestructible you must infused enhanced Mythril for magic resistance and Orichalcum for physical resistance. Next with a triple mana core you can instinctively produce a layer of mana acting as invisible healers. So when the slime sustains damage it will recover instantly."

Juan kept explaining out complex the process was while resting on the stone slab. But while Sara was talented is was starting to become a little much to infuse materials and take mental notes of what Juan was speaking of.

Meanwhile Sasha and the others were stunned by Juan's lessons and took his words to duel their own profession.

Sasha was to first to act on the knowledge supplied by Juan while it was fresh and ran to a nearby rock and started infusing her mana into it.

'I just need to imagine the process and use my mana to do it! It's so simple!'

Once Sasha opened her eyes she saw that the stone was transformed into diamonds.

Juan smiled and gave a slight nod which gave Sasha a wave of a motions before she turned to a nearby tree and turned it into diamonds as well.

This empowered the others to act as well. Even the staff who were watching wondered if they had the right to teach as it was abundantly obvious that Juan's teaching capabilities far surpassed their own.

So when Ethan and his group came to the clearing they had no words since they saw a blacksmith turn diamond trees into weapons, armour and sculptures. The two enchanters kept trying to enhance the weapons and armour while they saw the small alchemist turning dozens of trees into different materials with a smile on her face.

But their attention soon focused on Juan who was peacefully resting on the stone slab with a smile.

"Welcome to the final battle squad 11."
