Chapter 113 - 113

Facts proved that Caesar's choice was right.

Four days after Caesar took over as fourth generation and resigned, news reached the guild.

Erza's team had destroyed half the city while completing their mission.

Caesar looked somewhat relieved. Makarov looked somewhat resentful.

Once again, Makarov was called to the Council to be reprimanded.

As expected, being president is a pitfall. One is scolded at every turn.

Caesar thought Makarov had trained himself well. He could now fall asleep during the trial because he had grown used to it.

Caesar planned to wait a few more years. He wanted the people in the guild to mature. He wanted them to understand how hard the president worked before taking over.

At least then, it would make him feel more relaxed.

However, Caesar's joy did not last long. The Council soon convened a meeting of the Ten Holy Wizards.

As one of the Ten Holy Wizards, Caesar was summoned. He came to the Council once again.

"Caesar."

As soon as he arrived, he met Makarov.

Next to Makarov were two others. Two of the future Four Heavenly Kings.

Hayberyon. An elegant gentleman dressed like a vampire. He held a goblet filled with wine, actually milk. He used indirect blood-sucking magic that could drain the opponent without touching them.

Ulfheim. A skinny old man with a goatee. His hands were behind his back. He used orc transformation magic similar to take over magic. He could transform into an orc and his strength was considerable.

Caesar walked over. Before he could say hello, a branch suddenly stretched out.

Volod Sinken said seriously, "It seems I'm late."

His serious expression looked like someone had been sacrificed.

The next moment, the old man, almost as tall as a tree, said cheerfully, "Just kidding, don't take it seriously."

At this moment, all the Ten Holy Wizards who had not been sacrificed or arrested gathered.

Caesar looked at everyone and felt helpless.

They were called the Holy Ten, but only eight appeared.

It made people want to complain.

Caesar had looked up relevant information when he tried to get the book for free.

It was known that the other Ten Holy Wizards died on missions. So there were no corresponding characters.

"Master, why did the Council want us here?" Caesar asked Makarov.

Seeing this, the others also looked at Makarov.

After all, Makarov was called to the Council. It was better for him to know some information than for them to know nothing.

Makarov smiled bitterly. Yajima had retired. The source of information was gone.

He couldn't just wake up latent chess pieces because he wanted information.

But he had heard some rumors. He pondered, then said, "I guess it's about the title of the Ten Holy Wizards."

Everyone became thoughtful.

Soon, Gulan, the Speaker of the Freshman Senate, arrived with new members.

Caesar looked at them.

An old man with a long beard. He wore rare anti-magic metal armor, a cloak, and a wizard hat. He held a metal snake-head staff.

He walked up to Caesar. "Thank you for taking the time out of your schedule to attend this Ten Holy Wizards meeting. Please follow me."

Gulan led everyone to a large conference room.

Inside, Caesar saw five people sitting at the conference table.

One was Jura from the Snake Princess' Scale. A future Ten Holy Wizard.

Another was a man playing with a Rubik's Cube, shirtless and bored.

Two were twin sisters. One had a left ponytail, the other a right. They wore shining clothes. From their aura, Caesar knew they used god-killing magic.

The last was a chubby man who looked like Maitreya Buddha. He sat smiling. He felt unpredictable.

Many congressmen and Gulan took seats of honor. Caesar and the others sat facing the five people.

Gulan coughed and said, "The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the recent disqualification of the Ten Holy Wizards."

Caesar immediately understood. They were filling the vacancies and cleaning up the former Council's mess.

Haiberion spoke first. Holding up his wine glass, he said calmly, "You want these kids to become the Ten Holy Wizards, right?"

"If that's all, I have no objection."

Ulfheim spoke. It didn't matter to him who became a Ten Holy Wizard.

Volodymyr nodded. Same opinion.

Makarov had no objection.

Caesar raised his hand. He looked at the five across from him. "I have no objection. But I want to know how strong you five are."

Jola smiled at Caesar and said nothing.

The fat man said, "Want a sparring match? I have no objection."

"Sister, sister, are we going?"

"Sister, sister, don't get too excited."

The twins looked at Caesar with gleaming eyes.

The Rubik's Cube man said helplessly, "Fighting is troublesome. Don't count me. I'm just here for numbers."

Caesar smiled.

After Serena left, a new experience pack arrived.

He hoped they were strong enough so he could reach maximum level and get promoted to a gold card.

His eyes burned with fighting spirit.

The Rubik's Cube man muttered and shrank back.

The fat man still smiled.

Jola sighed, showing no retreat.

The twins' eyes shone even brighter.

Gulan looked at the scene and dryly coughed. He interrupted the rising fighting spirit.

"How about this? The ten people are divided into two groups to spar with each other. That way, everyone gets to know each other."

"No need."

Caesar stood. "I'm the youngest. I'll do the dirty work. I can handle five of them alone."

Gulan froze.

Something about this was wrong.
