After the incident, Ruby and Ray started their relationship on a new page. Love has been so blissful for both of them especially Ray. He had never fell in love like this ever since he started his first date. Ruby had been so extraordinary. Different from other girls he had met and he was falling in love with her every passing day. And she loved him. He thought as he was driving to her apartment. She loves him and she was really taking care of him.
He got to the front of her apartment and pressed the doorbell. The door opened and emerald eyes fell on him.
"Hey, baby. She said as she hugged him.
"Hi beautiful. He replied.
"How was work? She asked as they went in.
"Work was good. He replied. "Yours too?
"Great. Come come I prepared something nice for you.
"Really?
"Yeah come over.
Ray went to the dining table.
"I knew you would be so famished. She said as she served the food on the plate.
"Thank you. He said as he received the plate.
"You're welcome my darling.
He began to eat and as he ate, he stopped every few seconds to meet Ruby's beautiful eyes. Ruby smiles at him and looks at him lovingly.
Soon the meal was over. He stood up, went to her side and gave her a kiss on the cheek.
"Thank you for that meal. I enjoyed it very much.
" You're welcome honey.
He went to the kitchen and came back with a glass of water.
Entering the living room, he saw Ruby on the couch. He went close to her,carried her on his laps , brought his face to hers and took her lips. She responded and kissed him back.
The kiss got more serious. The two tongues began to fight for dominance as the kiss continued. Then Ray carried her up in a bridal style to the room. She began to unbutton his shirt as he unzipped her gown. She got rid of his shirt and kissed him again. He brought the gown down to her bra level as she began to get rid of his belt. Then as she unbuttoned his trousers, he stopped her.
"Ruby, stop. I'm not ready for this.
She looked at him bewildered by his words."What do you mean? She asked.
"I don't think I can do this. He said.
"Ray, what do you mean? She asked in anger.
"Ruby, I'm sorry ••••••I•••••I••••••I
"Ray, you don't need to be sorry. She said as she zipped back her gown. I can see you are not ready to make a commitment to this relationship. Get out of my house.
"Ruby, I'm sorry •••••please••••••please•••for•••••
"Get out! She shouted as she threw his shirt at him.
"Ruby please •••••• I'm•••••• I'm ••••• sorry.
"Get out! She said as she pushed him out of the room to the door. She opened the door in fierce anger and pushed him out. He begged and pleaded but all to no avail before he finally gave up and went home.
Nancy walked up the few steps to Adam's office. Then she knocked.
"Come in. Came the reply from the office.
She opened the door to see the expression of Adam's face change from normal to a smile. She smiled back and walked into his open arms. Then they kissed.
"I've missed you sweetheart. Adam said.
"Me too babe. She replied.
Then she sat on his laps and gave her a kiss from behind. They broke the kiss and smiled at each other.
"Baby. He called.
"Yes, honey. She replied.
"When are you free this weekend? He asked.
"Saturday. Um, why do you ask?
"Nothing. He said as she gave her a smile.
" Now you're giving me the creeps. Why do you ask? She said as she leaned closer to him.
"Seriously, nothing.
She raised her eyebrows.
"Babe! He said as he chuckled. Why are you looking at me like that?
She raised her second eyebrows still looking at him.
"Ok, this is getting really cringe. Why are you looking at me like that?
"I most certainly hope that you're not visiting a lady this weekend.
Adam gave her a puzzled look."What do you mean?
"Cause if I see you any lady this weekend or the next, I'll break her tiny legs. She said nodding.
"Babe relax! He said laughing. I'm not visiting any lady, in fact I don't have any visiting to do this weekend.
She gave him an unbelieving look.
"Seriously babe I ain't joking. So you're getting jealous? He teased.
"Why won't I get jealous? She said and he laughed.
"On a more serious note babe, do not visit any lady this weekend.
"Wow, I never knew you could get jealous.
"Why won't I get jealous? You're mine you know.
"I love you.
"I love you too babe.
