Another day soon arrives in Floatia, with Lincoln's group and their partners having some breakfast at Meramon's restaurant; as Lucy's partner ate, he Digivolves to Dracumon.
"One step closer to becoming Myotismon again." Lucy says with what could be considered excitement in her voice.
"What are we going to do today?" asked Rusty.
"Maybe it's time we went to where one of those energy streams that's holding the hole between our two worlds open and investigate it." suggested Agumon.
"Yeah, we have to take care of them if we want things to get back to normal." said Clyde.
"Where were they located again?" asked Rusty. Lisa pulls out her laptop and brings up the image she took of the opening when it first appeared over Royal Woods.
"It seems there's one located in a gloomy area with the wreckage of seafaring vessels, streetname: ships." said Lisa.
"That must be Cape MOD." said Clyde. "That's where I found my artifact."
"So we know where it is anyway." said Zach.
"Some of us should begin heading over there after we're done eating while the rest of us stays to protect the city." suggested Gotsumon.
"Me and my friends remember the way to get there so two of us could show Lincoln's sisters who are coming with the way." said Stella.
"I'm not going to miss out on any action." said Pulsemon.
"Yeah, you can always use the battle experience." said Lynn.
"Me and Betamon wanna come also." said Lana.
"Gloomy areas don't suit me so I'll stay here and help protect the city with Cutemon." said Lola.
"I like gloomy places so me and Dracumon will come with." said Lucy.
"I'll stay also." said Lori.
"Me too, dudes." said Luna.
"So will I." said Luan.
"I'll stay here and look after Lily." said Leni.
"Puroromon is in no sufficient condition for a battle with Cannonbeemon so he and I shall stay here." said Lisa.
"The Rustman will stay here and watch over the ladies." said Rusty with a grin.
"Oh, wow, I feel soooooooooo much safer." said Stella. "I'll stay here and make sure Rusty doesn't do anything crazy."
"I'll come with." said Clyde.
"And me, Zach, and Liam will also stay." said Lincoln.
"Let's finish eating so we can get started." said Zach.
An hour later, the group that was heading to Cape MOD were gathered outside Floatia's front gate while everone else was there to see them off.
"You better watch each others' backs out there." said Lori.
"We will." said Lynn as Pulsemon does some air jabs.
"You better." said Lola.
"We'll be back before you know it." said Clyde.
"See you all later." said Lana. The group going to Cape MOD exit Floatia and begin their journey.
As the group travelled, they were being watched by another Vilemon while its masters watched from their lair.
"Where are they going?" asked Volcanicdramon.
"I do not know." said Regalecusmon.
"Vilemon, keep an eye on them." said Blastmon.
"Yes, masters." the Vilemon said before the image suddenly disappears.
"Not again." said GranKuwagamon.
"I'll send another one." said Blastmon.
"And I'll send ShogunGekomon to attack the city with some Ebidramon." said Regalecusmon.
"They better succeed." said Volcanicdramon.
Back at Floatia, Luna was strumming on her guitar while Impmon was bobbing his head and tapping one of his feet.
"You think the others are doing rad, Impmon?" Luna asked her partner.
"I'm sure they're cool." replied Impmon.
Inside the restaurant, Lisa was feeding Puroromon; after he finished another bite, he Digivolves to Fanbeemon.
"Splendid; you are now capable of battling now, Fanbeemon." Lisa says to her partner.
On top of the wall surrounding Floatia, Pteromon and Luxmon were flying around, looking out onto the horizon.
"See anything, Luxmon?" Pteromon asked Luxmon.
"Not yet." replied Luxmon.
"Maybe we won't be attacked today." said Lincoln.
"They must've learned not to mess with Lola Loud." said Lola.
"Yeah." said Cutemon.
"FLOATIA!" shouts a voice from outside the city walls.
"I thought it was too good to be true." said Stella.
"Let's see what it is." said Rusty. "Maybe when they see my buff bod they'll leave."
"Buff?" Stella replied. "I've seen stick figures with more muscle tone than you."
"Hey!" Rusty replied.
The Louds and Lincoln's friends who were still in Floatia, along with their Digimon partners ran to the city gate and peek outside to see several large red lobsterlike Digimon, along with a large red Digimon with an appendage with purple hair on it coming out the back of its head, yellow belly with a bandage over an outie bellybutton, green leafy collar around its neck, and two musical horns coming out of its back.
"What are those things?" asked Lori. Liam points his artifact at one of the lobsterlike Digimon.
"Them there lobster ones are called Ebidramon." said Liam. "Champion Level, Aquatic Type, Data Attribute; their special attack is Twin Scissor." Lincoln points his artifact at the larger Digimon.
"And the other one is ShogunGekomon." said Lincoln. "Ultimate Level, Amphibian, Data and Virus Attributes; special attack is Musical Fist."
"Too bad that dude's trying to attack us." said Luna. "We could've jammed together."
"SURRENDER YOURSELVES TO OUR MASTERS AND JOIN OUR ARMIES OR BE DESTROYED!" shouts the Digimon known as ShogunGekomon.
"He may not be in the mood to jam." said Lori.
"But we could still beat it like a drum." said Zach.
"Then let's get this show started." said Lincoln as he and everyone else held out their artifacts and pushed buttons on them.
"Agumon, Digivolve to..." Agumon says as he begins to spin while glowing before he turns to...
"GEOGREYMON!" shouts GeoGreymon when he appeared.
"Lalamon, Digivolve to..." said Lalamon as she kept spinning until she became Sunflowmon.
"...SUNFLOWMON!" shouts Sunflowmon.
"Elecmon, Digivolve to..." said Elecmon as he kept on spinning until he became Leomon.
"...LEOMON!" shouts Leomon.
"Kudamon, Digivolve to..." said Kudamon as he continued spinning until he became Reppamon.
"...REPPAMON!" shouts Reppamon.
"Gotsumon, Digivolve to..." said Gotsumon as he continued to spin until he became Golemon.
"...GOLEMON!" shouts Golemon.
"Pteromon, Digivolve to..." said Pteromon as he continued to spin until he became Galemon.
"...GALEMON!" shouts Galemon.
"Luxmon, Digivolve to..." said Luxmon as he kept spinning until he became Piddomon.
"...PIDDOMON!" shouts Piddomon.
"Impmon, Digivolve to..." said Impmon as he continued spinning until he became Punkmon.
"...PUNKMON!" shouts Punkmon.
"Palmon, Digivolve to..." said Palmon as she continued to spin until she became Togemon.
"...TOGEMON!" shouts Togemon.
"Cutemon, Digivolve to..." said Cutemon as she continued spinning until she became Unimon.
"...UNIMON!" shouts Unimon.
"Bearmon, Digivolve to..." said Bearmon as he continued to spin until he became Grizzlymon.
"...GRIZZLYMON!" shouts Grizzlymon.
"Fanbeemon, Digivolve to..." said Fanbeemon as he kept spinning until he became Forgebeemon.
"...FORGEBEEMON!" shouts Forgebeemon.
The kids' partners jumped down from the wall and landed on their feet while Galemon, Piddomon, Unimon, and Forgebeemon flew down.
"ARE YOU HERE TO SURRENDER ON THE CITY'S BEHALF?!" asked ShogunGekomon.
"No, we're here to put an end to your little show, dude." said Luna.
"I WILL NOT BE SILENCED BY PUNY BUGS LIKE YOU!" said ShogunGekomon.
"We'll get them, boss!" said an Ebidramon as he and the other ones leapt towards the kids' Digimon.
"Twin Scissor!" an Ebidramon shouts as it swoops towards GeoGreymon with its claws pointed towards him; GeoGreymon bends down so the attack bounces off his head.
"Mega Flame!" shouts GeoGreymon before he unleashes a powerful flame that washes over the Ebidramon and destroys it. "Too bad we don't have melted butter handy."
At another Ebidramon, it was facing off against Grizzlymon.
"Mire Swallow!" shouts the Ebidramon before a wave of mud washed over Grizzlymon.
"Lana would've liked that move." said Lori.
"Crescent Dawn!" shouts Grizzlymon as he runs at the Ebidramon and slashes it with his front paws, breaking through its exoskeleton and destroying it.
"Fist of the Beast King!" shouts Leomon as he releases a lion head-shaped energy blast from his fist that hits another Ebidramon and destroys it.
"Supersonic Wave!" shouts Unimon as she waves her horn around, releasing blades of wind from it that hit an Ebidramon, slicing it to pieces and making it disintegrate.
"Bumble Welder!" shouts Forgebeemon as he releases a blast of electricity from his welding arms, electrocuting an Ebidramon and disintegrating it.
"Tornado Thrower!" shouts Galemon as he releases a tornado from his mouth that hits several Ebidramon and sends them flying off into the distance.
"Coconut Punch!" shouts Togemon as she punches another Ebidramon, knocking it onto its side.
"Golem Punch!" shouts Golemon as he punches another Ebidramon, breaking through its exoskeleton and destroys it.
"Anarchist Flame!" shouts Punkmon before he launches a blue fireball out of its mouth that hits another Ebidramon and sets it on fire.
"HOT! HOT! HOT!" the Ebidramon shouts out as it skitters around before disintegrating.
"Fire Feather!" shouts Piddomon as he releases fiery feathers from his wings that rain down onto another Ebidramon, causing it to explode in flames before it disintegrates.
"Razor Wind!" shouts Reppamon as he shakes his tail around, releasing an invisible blade of wind that slices another Ebidramon in half and causes it to disintegrate.
"HEY! STOP LOSING AND DESTROY THOSE FOOLS!" shouts ShogunGekomon.
"We're trying, sir!" shouts another Ebidramon.
"They're too powerful!" said an Ebidramon.
"DO I HAVE TO DO EVERYTHING MYSELF?!" ShogunGekomon asked out loud before it aims its musical horns at the remaining Ebidramon.
"No, don't!" an Ebidramon shouts.
"MUSICAL FIST!" ShogunGekomon yells as he releases a powerful blast of sound from his horns that completely destroys the remaining Ebidramon.
"Not cool, dude!" shouts Luna.
"WELL, THEY SHOULD'VE DESTROYED YOU ALL LIKE I TOLD THEM TO!" said ShogunGekomon.
"They did their best!" shouts GeoGreymon.
"WELL, IT WASN'T ENOUGH!" shouts ShogunGekomon.
"Like you can do better?" asked Unimon.
"WITH MY EYES CLOSED!" shouts ShogunGekomon.
"Let's shut this guy up!" shouts Golemon as the kids' partner Digimon charge towards their opponent.
"Horn Impulse!" shouts as he charges headfirst towards ShogunGekomon and rams his head into his belly, only for him to bounce off of it.
"THAT TICKLED!" said ShogunGekomon before it stomps down on GeoGreymon with one of its feet.
"GeoGreymon!" shouts Lincoln.
"Tornado Thrower!" shouts Galemon as he releases another tornado from his mouth that hits ShogunGekomon, but doesn't budge it an inch.
"It's, literally, too heavy!" said Lori.
"It, totes, needs to eat healthier." said Leni.
"MUSICAL FIST!" shouts ShogunGekomon as it releases another blast of powerful soundwaves from its horns that hit Galemon, making him crash to the ground.
"Galemon!" shouts Lori.
"Needle Spray!" Togemon shouts before she releases a barrage of needles from her body that stick to ShogunGekomon, but not seeming to do much to it.
"SYMPHONY CRUSHER!" shouts ShogunGekomon as he lets out high-frequency soundwaves that hit Togemon, causing her damage from inside, and making her fall over.
"Togemon!" shouts Luan.
"Piddo Speed!" Piddomon yells out as he charges at ShogunGekomon and jabs his staff into its gut, only for it to get stuck.
"FROG KICK!" shouts ShogunGekomon as it kicks Piddomon away.
"Piddomon!" shouts Leni.
"Lion Sword!" shouts Leomon as he slices at ShogunGekomon with his sword, only for the blade to bounce off its belly.
"FROG KICK!" shouts ShogunGekomon as he kicks Leomon and knocks him to the ground.
"Leomon!" shouts Rusty.
"Rolling Tackle!" shouts Reppamon as he does an aerial somersault into ShogunGekomon, but bounces off him.
"SYMPHONY CRUSHER!" shouts ShogunGekomon before releasing another soundwave that hits Reppamon, damaging him, and making him fall to the ground.
"Reppamon!" shouts Liam.
"Aerial Gallop!" shouts Unimon as she flies at ShogunGekomon while energy gathered around her horn and she jabs ShogunGekomon with it, but it gets stuck.
"FROG KICK!" shouts ShogunGekomon as he kicks Unimon away, knocking her to the ground.
"Unimon!" shouts Lola.
"Sunshine Bazooka!" shouts Sunflowmon as she fires a seed at ShogunGekomon that bounces off its belly.
"SYMPHONY CRUSHER!" shouts ShogunGekomon before he lets out a powerful soundwave from its mouth that hits Sunflowmon, knocking her to the ground.
"Sunflowmon!" shouts Stella.
"Heavy Attack!" shouts Grizzlymon as he hits ShogunGekomon with one of his paws, but it bounces off ShogunGekomon.
"I'M HEAVIER THAN THAT ATTACK!" shouts ShogunGekomon. "FROG KICK!" ShogunGekomon kicks Grizzlymon away, knocking him to the ground.
"Gwizzwymon!" shouts Lily.
"Sulfur Plume!" shouts Golemon before he releases superheated gases towards ShogunGekomon.
"MUSICAL FIST!" shouts ShogunGekomon before he releases another blast of soundwaves from its horns that pushes Golemon's attack back and hits him.
"Golemon!" shouts Zach.
"Blitzkreig Bop!" shouts Punkmon as fire covers his brass knuckles and he punches ShogunGekomon in the gut, only for his arm to get stuck in it.
"FROG KICK!" shouts ShogunGekomon as it kicks Punkmon, knocking him to the ground.
"This guy's tough!" said Rusty.
"Yeah, but does it have to shout everything?" asked Stella. "Doesn't it have an indoor voice?"
"We should Digivolve our partners to Ultimate!" said Zach.
"How come we don't do that at the beginning of battles with other Ultimates?" asked Rusty.
"I have no idea." said Lincoln.
"MUSICAL FIST!" shouts ShogunGekomon as it releases another sound blast from its horns at everyone, hitting them, and sending them flying before they could use their artifacts again.
"Punkmon!" shouts Luna as she runs over to her partner who was struggling to get up.
"Luna, be careful." Punkmon weakly said. As Luna examines her partner, ShogunGekomon walks over to the two.
"I THINK I'LL CRUSH YOU TWO FIRST!" said ShogunGekomon.
"Luna, get out of there!" said Lincoln as he checks on GeoGreymon.
"No!" shouts Luna. "I'm not gonna bail on my partner no matter what!"
"HOW NICE!" said ShogunGekomon. "I'LL MAKE SURE TO LEAVE AN UNCLEANED SPOT ON THE BOTTOM OF MY FOOT AS A MEMORIAL FOR YOU!"
"Eww." said Leni. As ShogunGekomon raises its foot up to deliver the final blow to Punkmon, Luna's artifact begins to glow.
"WHAT IS THAT?!" asked ShogunGekomon as the light blinds it.
"Luna, your artifact!" said Lola. Luna looks at her artifact to see that one of the buttons was glowing.
"I think it's time to really rock out!" said Luna as she pushes the glowing button, making Punkmon shine brightly.
"Punkmon, Digivolve to..." Punkmon says as purple smoke and fire spirals around him; when it was done, Punkmon was bigger, he had purple and black head covering with an emblem that looked like a skull, green hair, chest armor with a microphone coming out of it, large speakers on his shoulders, cybernetic arms, and a tail that looks like cables twisted together.
"LOUDMON!" shouts the newly Digivolved Punkmon know identified as Loudmon.
"Dude, you look so rockin!" said Luna as she looks up her partner's new form on her artifact.
"What's Punkmon now?" asked Zach.
"He's Loudmon." said Luna. "Ultimate Level, Cyborg Type, Virus Attribute; his special attack is Metallica Edge!"
"Let's rock, ShogunGekomon!" shouts Loudmon.
"SYMPHONY CRUSHER!" shouts ShogunGekomon as it yells out, releasing a powerful soundwave from its mouth.
"DEEP PURPLE BLASTER!" shouts Loudmon as he yells into his microphone, releasing more powerful soundwaves from the speakers on his shoulders that push ShogunGekomon's attack back and hits it, knocking it onto its back.
"HEY! I CAN'T GET UP!" shouts ShogunGekomon. Loudmon jumps onto the large opposing Digimon's belly with its arms raised while soundwaves vibrate their claws.
"METALLICA EDGE!" shouts Loudmon as he slashes at ShogunGekomon repeatedly, breaking its body apart bit by bit until it begins to fall apart on its own.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" shouts ShogunGekomon as its body disintegrates to nothing.
"That quieted it down." said Stella.
"You were so rad, Loudmon!" said Luna. Loudmon grins before he reverts back to Yarmon while the others turn back to their Rookie Forms.
"That was, literally, amazing." said Lori.
"Totes." said Leni.
"I'll make sure to do a drawing of Loudmon and ShogunGekomon later." said Lincoln.
Back with the four evil Mega Level Digimon, they were watching the battle through another Vilemon.
"ShogunGekomon has failed us." said Regalecusmon.
"Those humans and their partner Digimon will be dealt with." replied Volcanicdramon. "In the meantime, we'll deal with the humans and Digimon that left Floatia."
"Pepper Breath!" the Mega Level Digimon hear Agumon shout out. They look to see a fireball on the monitor, followed by a blank projection.
"I'll send another Vilemon." said GranKuwagamon.
"And I'll send another Digimon to deal with the other humans and their partner Digimon." said Blastmon.
