The next day in Floatia, Lisa and Fanbeemon were at the lab in the Research District.
"This lab is quite fascinating." said Lisa as she looks around.
"Yes, but it could use some improvements; we just lack the material needed to make them." said a robotic Digimon with a yellow robotic left eye, and a red organic right eye.
"What material would you need acquired, Datamon?" Lisa asked the Digimon, now identified as Datamon.
"We could use some DigiOil." replied Datamon.
"Where could this material be acquired?" asked Lisa.
"I believe some could be found near the power plant at Nigh Plains." replied Datamon.
"We will be happy to help acquire the substance you will need." said Fanbeemon.
"Oh, thanks, you two." replied Datamon. He then points at several large jugs on a large metal table. "You may use a couple of those jugs over there."
"Thank you for informing us, Datamon." said Fanbeemon. He and Lisa each grab a jug from the table and walked out of the lab.
Later, at Meramon's restaurant, the Louds, Lincoln's friends, and their partner Digimon were having lunch.
"Siblings, friends, and Digimon partners; Fanbeemon and I going to the Nigh Plains to acquire a substance call DigiOil to make improvements at the lab in the Research District." Lisa says to the rest of the group.
"Not by yourself." said Lori. "Some of us will come with you in case some bad Digimon show up."
"I guess some assistance will be necessary to help acquire more DigiOil." said Lisa.
"Me and Agumon will come with." said Lincoln.
"So will me and Pulsemon." said Lynn.
"Me and Gotsumon will come with." said Zach.
"Impmon and me will back you up too, sis." Luna says to Lisa.
"Okay, that sounds like enough." said Lori. "Fluffymon, Cutemon, Bearmon, Betamon, and Elecmon could use a little rest after their battle with Toporiamon yesterday, especially after Fluffymon, literally, Digivolved to Grand Galemon." Lori then gives Fluffymon an apple slice. Lori's artifact begins to glow; she pushes a glowing button on it and Fluffymon begins to spin.
"Fluffymon, Digivolve to..." said Fluffymon as he continued spinning until he became Pteromon.
"...PTEROMON!" shouts Pteromon.
"Welcome back, Pteromon." said Lori. After the group finished eating, Lisa and Fanbeemon brings Lincoln, Luna, Lynn, Zach, and their partner Digimon to the lab in the Research District to acquire more jugs for her siblings who were going with her to Nigh Plains, as well as Stella.
Moments later, Lisa, Lincoln, Lynn, Luna, Zach, who were each carrying a jug, and their partner Digimon, who were also carrying a jug, were walking outside Floatia towards the direction of Nigh Plains.
"Be careful." Leni called out from the top of the wall surrounding Floatia.
"We'll try." replied Luna. Meanwhile, a Vilemon was watching the group while hovering in the air.
With Volcanicdramon, Regalecusmon, GranKuwagamon, and Blastmon; they were watching the group on a holographic monitor.
"What are those humans up to now?" asked Volcanicdramon.
"Whatever it is, we must deal with them before they can accomplish whatever it is they're up to." replied Regalecusmon.
"I'll send Cannonbeemon and some Waspmons to deal with them." said Blastmon.
"Excellent." said Volcanicdramon.
"I think we'll need to send another Vilemon." said GranKuwagamon.
"Why?" asked Volcanicdramon. He, Regalecusmon, and Blastmon looked at the monitor to see Impmon looking towards it.
"Bada Boom!" shouts Impmon before throwing a fireball at the monitor; static soon filled the monitor.
"I'll send another Vilemon." said Regalecusmon before walking away.
Later, Lincoln, Luna, Lynn, Lisa, Stella, and their partner Digimon arrived at the power plant at the Nigh Plains.
"Is this the place where you guys took on that Digimon that was stealing power from Floatia?" asked Lynn.
"Yep." Zach replied.
"So, where do we find this DigiOil stuff?" asked Lynn.
"Can oil usually be found underground?" asked Luna.
"Precisely." replied Lisa.
"Well then, let's each find a spot and start digging." said Pulsemon.
"Too bad Lucy didn't come with; she has experience digging from her grave digging." said Lincoln. The Digimon partners split up; they each go to a seperate spot and began to dig. Moments later, Fanbeemon was in a hole he dug; he drives his stinger onto the bottom of the hole and a black liquid begins spurting out of the hole he made.
"I struck DigiOil!" said Fanbeemon. Lincoln, Luna, Lynn, Lisa, and Zach run to where Fanbeemon is while the other Digimon partners got out of the holes they made and joined them.
"Well done, Fanbeemon." Lisa said to her partner Digimon as she looks at the DigiOil that was spurting out of the ground; Lynn runs to a jug and grabs it.
"Come on, let's start filling these things with this stuff." said Lynn.
"Wait, guys; we have company." said Agumon. Everyone else looked to see Agumon pointing towards the sky. They look to see what appeared to be a large robotic bee with what appeared to be a metal honeycomb on top of it flying towards them. Lynn aims her artifact at the Digimon.
"That's Cannonbeemon." said Lynn. "Ultimate Level, Cyborg Insect Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Nitro Stinger."
"Doesn't look like it came alone." said Pulsemon. The group saw what appeared to be several robotic wasps flying behind Cannonbeemon. Luna holds out her artifact towards one of the Digimon.
"Those are Waspmons." said Luna. "Champion Level, Cyborg Insect Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Turbo Stinger."
"Turbo Stinger!" shouts the Waspmons as they fired lasers from their stingers at the partner Digimon, hitting the ground in front of them, sending them flying back, and they land on the ground; they get back up.
"Ready, guys?" asked Lincoln as he hold up his artifact.
"You bet, Lincoln." replied Zach as he, Luna, Lynn, and Lisa hold up their artifacts; they push a button on them and their partner Digimon began to spin.
"Agumon, Digivolve to..." said Agumon as he continued spinning until he became GeoGreymon.
"...GEOGREYMON!" shouts GeoGreymon.
"Gotsumon, Digivolve to..." said Gotsumon as he kept spinning until he became Golemon.
"...GOLEMON!" shouts Golemon.
"Impmon, Digivolve to..." said Impmon as he kept on spinning until he became Punkmon.
"...PUNKMON!" shouts Punkmon.
"Pulsemon, Digivolve to..." said Pulsemon as he continued spinning until he became Bulkmon.
"...BULKMON!" shouts Bulkmon.
"Fanbeemon, Digivolve to..." said Fanbeemon as he continued to spin until he became Forgebeemon.
"...FORGEBEEMON!" shouts Forgebeemon.
Two Waspmons were facing GeoGreymon and aimed their stingers at him.
"Turbo Stinger!" shouts the Waspmons as they fire lasers out of their stingers at GeoGreymon.
"Horn Impulse!" shout GeoGreymon as he charges at one of the Waspmons while dodging the lasers and rams it with his horns, making it disintegrate.
"Bear Buster!" shouts the other Waspmon as it fires a beam out of stinger, but GeoGreymon leaps to the side, dodging it.
"Mega Flame!" shouts GeoGreymon as he releases flames from his mouth and it hits the Waspmon, making it disintegrate.
"Way to go, GeoGreymon!" said Lincoln.
Two more Waspmons were looking down at Punkmon.
"Bear Buster!" shouts the two Waspmons as they fire beams out of their stingers. Punkmon dodges each of the beams.
"Anarchist Flame!" shouts Punkmon before it releases a blue fireball from his mouth that hits one of the Waspmons, making it disintegrate. He then turned towards the other Waspmon and charges at it. "Blitzkrieg Bop!" Fire surrounded his brass knuckles and he pounds the Waspmon with it, making it disintegrate.
"Yeah!" yelled Luna.
Another pair of Waspmon were looking down at Bulkmon and aimed their stingers at him.
"Turbo Stinger!" said the Waspmons before they fired lasers at Bulkmon; he shields himself with his arms and blocks the lasers.
"Was that suppose to sting?" asked Bulkmon. "Thunder Dread!" Bulkmon fires electricity out of his horn and it hits one of the Waspmons, making it disintegrate.
"Bear Buster!" shouts the other Waspmon as it fires a laser out of its stinger at Bulkmon; he jumps back, dodging the attack.
"Electrical Fist!" shouts Bulkmon as he charges at the Waspmon while electricity surrounded his fist and he punches Waspmon with it, breaking it apart, and making it disintegrate.
"That's showing him, Bulkmon!" said Lynn.
Golemon charges at two more Waspmons.
"Turbo Stinger!" shouts the two Waspmons before they began firing lasers out of their stingers at Golemon; he shields himself with his arms as he continued charging, blocking the lasers.
"Golem Punch!" shouts Golemon before he threw a fist at one of the Waspmons, punching it, and making it disintegrate. Golemon then turned towards the other Waspmon. "Powerful Punch!" Energy surrounded his hand and he punches the Waspmon with it, making it disintegrate.
"All right, Golemon!" cheered Zach.
The last two remaining Waspmons were aiming their stingers at Forgebeemon.
"Bear Blaster!" shouts the Waspmons before firing lasers out of their stingers at Forgebeemon; he flies up, dodging the lasers. He points his adhesive gun at the Waspmons stingers and fires honey; they land on the end of the stingers.
"Turbo Blaster!" shouts the Waspmons. They tried to blast Forgebeemon, but the honey jams the lasers, causing the stingers to explode.
"Bumble Welder!" shouts Forgebeemon before firing electricity from his welder arms that zaps one of the Waspmons, making it disintegrate. The other Waspmon turned and tried to fly away; Forgebeemon flies after it. "Torque Stinger!" Forgebeemon slices the retreating Waspmon in half with his stinger; both halves disintegrate.
"Splendid job, Forgebeemon." said Lisa.
"Nitro Stinger!" everyone hears Cannonbeemon shout. They look to see Cannonbeemon firing a powerful laser out of its stinger and it hits Forgebeemon, knocking him to the ground.
"Forgebeemon!" shouts Lisa as she runs at her partner Digimon.
"Hey, you're not getting away with that!" shouts Bulkmon.
"Lincoln; GeoGreymon and Golemon may need to go Ultimate." said Zach, holding up his artifact as it began to glow.
"Agreed." replied Lincoln as his artifact glowed. He and Zach each push a glowing button on their artifacts; GeoGreymon and Golemon began to spin.
"GeoGreymon, Digivolve to..." said GeoGreymon as he continued to spin. A fiery cyclone surrounds GeoGreymon; it soon disperses, revealing RizeGreymon.
"...RIZEGREYMON!" shouts RizeGreymon.
"Golemon, Digivolve to..." said Golemon as he kept spinning. He began to glow brightly as he kept spinning; he stopped spinning and glowing, he was now Meteormon.
"...METEORMON!" shouts Meteormon.
RizeGreymon, Meteormon, Bulkmon, and Punkmon charged at Cannonbeemon while Forgebeemon struggled to get back up.
"Rising Destroyer!" shouts GeoGreymon as he fired lasers from his chest and wings; they hit Cannonbeemon, knocking it back.
"Nitro Stinger!" shouts Cannonbeemon as it fired a powerful laser from its stinger and it hits RizeGreymon, knocking him to the ground.
"Are you all right, RizeGreymon?!" asked Lincoln.
"I'm fine." replied RizeGreymon as he gets up while putting his hand on his chest where Cannonbeemon hits him.
"Big Bang Blow!" shouts Meteormon as he leaps at Cannonbeemon and punches it, sending it flying back, but stopped in mid-air.
"Turbo Stinger!" shouts Cannonbeemon as it fired a powerful laser out of its stinger that hits Meteormon, sending him flying, and landing on the ground.
"Meteormon!" shouts Zach.
"I'll teach you not to mess with my friends you robotic pest!" shouts Bulkmon as he charges at Cannonbeemon. "Core Electrical Fist!" A powerful surge of electricity surrounded his fist and he punches Cannonbeemon with it.
"Turbo Stinger!" shouts Cannonbeemon as it fires another powerful laser from its stinger and it hits Bulkmon, knocking him to the ground.
"Get up, Bulkmon!" shouts Lynn.
"Boy, that laser packed more a punch then my fist." said Bulkmon as he struggled to get up.
"Anarchist Flame!" shouts Punkmon as it launches a fireball out of his mouth that hits Cannonbeemon, but with little effect.
"Turbo Stinger!" shouts Cannonbeemon as it fires another laser from its stinger that hits Punkmon, knocking him to the ground.
"You good, Punkmon?!" asked Luna.
"Hardly." replied Punkmon as he tried to get up.
"Solid Strike!" shouts RizeGreymon as he flies at Cannonbeemon and strikes it with his barrel arm, knocking Cannonbeemon back.
"Rock Tornado!" shouts Meteormon as he jumps at Cannonbeemon while swinging his arms and his Cannonbeemon with them, knocking it down towards the ground, but stopped mid-air and flies back up.
"Time to neutralize all of you!" shouts Cannonbeemon. "Sky Rocket!" Cannonbeemon fires several missiles from the honeycomb on top of it and they hit RizeGreymon, Meteormon, Bulkmon, and Punkmon with destructive force; they fall to the ground and revert back to their Rookie Forms.
"Uh oh, not good." said Lynn.
"Bogus." said Luna. Cannonbeemon hovered towards the Rookie Digimon.
"Time to wipe you all out of existance." said Cannonbeemon as it aimed its stinger.
"Torque Stinger!" shouts Forgebeemon as he flies at Cannonbeemon and slashes it with his stinger, but with little effect.
"I forgot about you." Cannonbeemon says to Forgebeemon. "But you're about to wish I did; Turbo Stinger!" Cannonbeemon fires a laser at Forgebeemon, hitting him, and knocking him to the ground near Lisa; she runs to her partner.
"Are you still functioning?" asked Lisa with tears in her eyes.
"Barely." replied Forgebeemon, weakly. He looks to see Cannonbeemon hovering towards him and Lisa; it aimed its honeycomb at them.
"I'll vaporize you first." Cannonbeemon says to the wounded Forgebeemon.
"Bumble Welder!" said Forgebeemon as he fired electricity from his welder arms that hits Cannonbeemon before Forgebeemon collapses."I...don't think...I can fight...anymore." Lisa looks at Forgebeemon with concern and looks back up at Cannonbeemon; the cannons on top of it opened as it prepared to fire missiles.
"FORGEBEEMON!" shouts Lisa. Her artifact suddenly began to glow brightly, causing Cannonbeemon to fly back, blinded.
"Cannot gets a visual on target." said Cannonbeemon. Forgebeemon suddenly gets up and begins hovering. Lisa looks at her artifact and sees a button glowing.
"I belive it's time for an upgrade, Forgebeemon." Lisa says to her partner.
"Affirmative." replied Forgebeemon.
"This should be good." said Lincoln. Lisa pushes the glowing button on her artifact and Forgebeemon began to spin.
"Forgebeemon, Digivolve to..." said Forgebeemon as he cotinued to spin. Glowing blue hexagons appeared and they formed into a spinning pillar around Forgebeemon. The pillar breaks apart, revealing a humanoid, cybernetic bee with two pairs of light blue wings made of energy while holding a spear with a spearhead that resembled a stinger surrounded by light blue energy in his right hand and a hexagonal-shaped shield made of light blue energy on his left arm.
"...VESPAMON!" shouts the newly-Digivolved Forgebeemon.
"Whoa, cool!" said Zach.
"What's Forgebeemon now, little dudette?" Luna asked her scientist sister. Lisa holds her artifact towards Forgebeemon's Ultimate Form.
"This is Vespamon." said Lisa. "Ultimate Level, Cyborg Insect Type, Virus Attribute; special attack, Mach Stinger." Cannonbeemon looks at Vespamon and aims its stinger at him.
"Turbo Stinger!" shouts Cannonbeemon as it fired a powerful laser at Vespamon.
"Bee Phalanx!" shouts Vespamon as he uses his shield to block Cannonbeemon's laser; he then points his spear at Cannonbeemon and fires an energy blast from the end of it that hits the honeycomb cannons on top of it, destroying most of it.
"I will destroy you for that!" yelled Cannonbeemon. "Sky Rocket!" He fires missiles out of the remaining cannons on it at Vespamon, but he flies and dodges each of them.
"Shall I finish this, Lisa?" Vespamon asked Lisa.
"Affirmative." replied Lisa. Vespmaon points his spear at Cannonbeemon.
"Mach Stinger!" shouts Vespamon as he flies at Cannonbeemon with incredible speed and drives his spear through Cannonbeemon's body. Vespamon removes his spear from Cannonbeemon's body; Cannonbeemon falls to the ground and disintegrates.
"You were magnificent, Vespamon." said Lisa.
"You got that chump good." Lynn Jr says to Vespamon. He flies down to Lisa before De-Digivolving back into Puroromon; he lands in Lisa's arms.
"Did I meet your expectations, Lisa?" Puroromon asked his partner.
"Indeed you did." replied Lisa.
"Come on, everyone; let's get that DigiOil back to Floatia." said Lincoln.
"Puroromon; you will rest." Lisa says to her partner Digimon.
"Yeah, we can handle this." said Zach.
Lincoln, Luna, Lynn, Lisa, and Zach, and their partner Digimon, except Puroromon, began filling the jugs with DigiOil. Once all the jugs were filled, the group began walking back to Floatia with Lynn carrying her jug and the one Puroromon had.
Moments later, inside the lab in Floatia, Datamon was looking at all the jugs of DigiOil in front of him.
"Yes; with this DigiOil, we will definitely improve the lab." said Datamon.
"Glad to be of assistance, Datamon." said Lisa.
"Come on; let's go to Meramon's restaurant and grab some dinner." said Lynn.
"Yeah; our Digimon earned it." said Zach.
"Especially you, Puroromon." Lisa says to her partner; Puroromon smiles in response. "Brother; will you be writing about Vespamon as well as illustrating him in your journal?"
"You bet." replied Lincoln. He, Luna, Lynn, Lisa, Zach, and their partner Digimon left the lab.
Later that day, Lincoln was drawing Vespamon and Cannonbeemon in journal while Lisa watched over his shoulder with a smile on her face; she looked at Puroromon who was in her arms, sleeping.
Forgebeemon has Digivolved to his Ultimate Form, Vespamon, and defeated Cannonbeemon, as well as obtaining DigiOil for Datamon. What else will happen to Lincoln and his sisters and friends, as well as their partner Digimon as their adventure in the Digital World continues? Wait and find out.
