Chapter 13 - Training simulation

Molis Harrison gathered his team players around him, he launched into an inspiring session on the importance of innovation and forward thinking. With a keen gaze, he swept the room, ensuring every player was fully engaged.

Next, he clicked a button, and the TV screen flickered to life, displaying highlights from their last two games. "Your victories were truly remarkable," he acknowledged, beaming with pride. "However, we can't afford to rest on our laurels. We're still ranked fourth in the league, and there's room for improvement."

With a swift swipe of his tablet, a diverse array of training methods appeared on the screen. A knowing smile spread across Molis' face as he revealed, "This is our new training regimen. Take the rest of the day to recharge, because tomorrow, we dive headfirst into the challenge ahead."

Shark spoke up, inquiring about the new training routine and how it would enhance their gameplay. Molis Harrison's expression turned serious as he replied, "Our last two games were lackluster. We played without finesse, without tactical thinking. We were sloppy."

The room fell silent, with the players reflecting on their coach's words. The mood had dampened, but Harrison was not finished. He clicked a button, and the screen behind him sprang to life, displaying a match between the top-ranked teams in the league, Night Phantom and Nixon Pool.

The Devertary United players watched in awe as the two teams clashed on the virtual field. The connection between the players was palpable, their movements fluid and synchronized.

It was clear that they had honed their teamwork to perfection, making them a formidable force on both offense and defense.

Harrison's point had been made. As he left the room, Wolf Deo attempted to rally his teammates, telling them not to worry, that they would soon dominate the league.

The players' moods began to shift, and after a few words of encouragement from their coach, they became more lively.

Ruyne Ness snuck up behind Wolf Deo, clinging to his back as he shouted "Hurray!" The other players cheered along with him, their spirits lifted.

Unbeknownst to them, Molis Harrison watched from a surveillance camera, a warm smile spreading across his face. "I'm proud to be the coach of this team," he said to himself, his eyes shining with admiration for Devertary United.

The players assembled on the training ground, where Molis Harrison greeted them with a warm welcome. He grouped them by position, pairing Shark, Axel, and Marcus together.

Each trio entered specialized cubicles bearing their names, where advanced simulations analyzed their performances.

In the simulation, Shark, Axel, and Marcus found themselves facing off against a full team of eleven players.

However, it soon became apparent that they had no teammates to support them, leaving the trio responsible for both scoring and defending.

The match began with Axel passing the ball to Marcus, who immediately drew the opposition's attention. As the opposing players closed in, Marcus swiftly crossed the ball to Shark, who was being closely marked by two defenders.

Despite the pressure, Shark executed a precise pass to Marcus, who had made a well-timed run into open space.

The trio continued to press forward, with Marcus passing the ball to Axel. However, their progress was halted when a peculiar opponent intercepted the pass.

This player stood out from the rest, with piercing red eyes and wild white hair that danced in the wind as he sprinted down the field.

His green-striped white jersey clung to his body as he effortlessly outran the trio, culminating in a decisive shot that sealed the win for his team.

Despite their exhaustion, the trio of Shark, Axel, and Marcus refused to give up. They continued to play, determined to crack the code and outmaneuver their elusive opponent.

However, no matter how clever their strategies or precise their passes, the unique player seemed to always be one step ahead.

With his blazing speed and uncanny agility, he effortlessly outran the trio, leaving them in his wake. His movements were a blur, his feet a whirlwind of motion as he danced around the field, always staying one step ahead of his pursuers.

The trio's frustration grew with each passing minute, their fatigue and desperation etched on their faces.

Despite their valiant efforts, they were powerless to stop the onslaught, and the score continued to mount against them.

Finally, after a crushing defeat of 13-0, the trio threw in the towel, their bodies and minds spent. They trudged off the field, defeated and demoralized, wondering how they could possibly counter such a formidable opponent.

As the simulations came to an end, the cubicles slid open, and the players emerged, exhausted but focused. Molis Harrison greeted them with a warm smile, his eyes gleaming with enthusiasm.

"Time to review your progress," he announced, distributing papers to each player. The sheets contained a detailed analysis of their current stats, playstyle, and areas for improvement.

As the players scanned their reports, their eyes widened with surprise. The papers outlined personalized exercise routines, tailored to enhance their strengths and address their weaknesses.

Nutritional plans were also included, specifying the optimal foods to fuel their bodies for peak performance.

Shark, Axel, and Marcus huddled together, comparing their reports and discussing strategies for implementation.

The other players did the same, their conversations filled with determination and a renewed commitment to excellence.

Molis Harrison watched his team with pride, knowing that this was just the beginning of their journey to greatness.

With these customized plans, he was confident that they would be able to unlock their full potential and dominate the competition.

Molis Harrison's expression turned serious as he gathered the players' attention.

"Your next match is just around the corner," he announced, his voice filled with a sense of urgency. "Ventas City will be traveling to Sweden to face us on our home turf."

The players exchanged determined glances, their faces set with resolve. Harrison's words hung in the air, a reminder that this match was not just any ordinary game.

The pressure to perform was amplified by the fact that they would be playing in front of their home crowd.

"We cannot afford to lose this match," Harrison emphasized, his eyes scanning the room to ensure his message was driven home.

"You've all worked hard to get to this point, and now it's time to rest and recharge. Get some sleep, eat well, and come back ready to give it your all."

With that, the players nodded, their minds already focused on the challenge ahead.

They knew that the next match would be a true test of their skills, teamwork, and determination.
