Chapter 16 - Crazy Soccer

As the second half commenced, the players from both teams took to the pitch with renewed energy.

Wolf Deo initiated a series of swift passes, playing the ball to Ryan Shark, who then passed it to Leon. The trio charged forward in unison, their movements a testament to their well-rehearsed teamwork.

Leon expertly played the ball backward to Poker, who then returned it to Leon. This intricate exchange of passes left the Ventas City players bewildered, struggling to keep up with Devertary United's lightning-fast offense.

Floxx Leon seized control of the pitch, shooting the ball forward to Deo, who delivered a precise cross that sailed past Taro Hiroshi and Leonardo Santos.

The ball found its way to Carlos Marcus, who burst into the Ventas City defensive domain, drawing the attention of the opposing team's defenders: Luis López, Rafael Torres, Souza Silva, and Vincente Julián.

Marcus cleverly passed the ball to his left, where Nicolas Ronoa expertly controlled it.

The defenders of the team shifted their focus to Ronoa, he seized the opportunity to cross the ball to Ryan Shark, who had positioned himself in the most critical spot on the pitch.

Shark swung his leg with precision, shooting the ball in a direction that seemed impossible for the goalkeeper to save.

The crowd held its collective breath as the ball hurtled toward the net. Just as all hope seemed lost for Ventas City, Antonio Miguel miraculously appeared, stopping the ball at the goal line and sending it soaring into the air.

The fans were stunned, and the commentators were on the edge of their seats. In that same moment, Antonio Miguel declared, "I won't make winning this game easy for you, Devertary United players."

His words echoed through the stadium, a testament to his determination to lead his team to victory.

Antonio Miguel cleared the ball away from his team's net, and it was quickly received by Thompson Noah who was met with Ruyne Ness after a short moment the clash between them was finalized .

Ruyne Ness showcased his exceptional tackling speed and precision, easily dispossessing Noah of the ball. Ness then sprinted forward and then swung the ball back into the danger zone, where it was received by Nicolas Ronoa.

Ronoa dashed forward, passing the ball to Carlos Marcus just before being tackled by Taro Hiroshi, coming towards him with brute force.

Marcus sprinted down the pitch, playing a precise pass to Wolf Deo. Deo cleverly slowed down the momentum of the game, locating Ryan Shark and Antonio Miguel.

Miguel refused to give up, clinging to Shark and blocking the ball from reaching him.

However, the ball fell to the feet of Ness, who seized the opportunity to take a shot.

Amir Benkirane, the goalkeeper, dove instantaneously, managing to keep the ball out. The ball was collected by Leonardo Santos the team second CDM, who dashed forward, but Leon intercepted him with a perfectly timed sliding tackle.

Leon after obtaining the ball, quickly crossed the ball back into the danger area, where Shark had created a gap between himself and Miguel. As the ball hurtled toward Marcus, he made a slight contact with it, but its trajectory was altered, momentarily easing the tension for the Ventas City fans.

However, their relief was short-lived, as the ball landed at Shark's feet. With lightning-quick reflexes, Shark executed a curved shot that found its way into the back of the net, entering the post by the top-right corner.

As soon as the ball crossed the goal line, Shark ran to the sideline, placing one hand on his chest and forming a circle with his other hand, which he placed over one of his eyes.

This gesture conveyed his determination and vision. His teammates rushed to congratulate him, celebrating the goal as the frustration mounted among the Ventas City players.

Antonio Miguel stared at Shark for a moment, thinking to him, "What a crazy soccer player this guy is! So, you're the genius from the Hantier league? I heard.

But after playing with you I know that you're way better than they say. I can't wait for when next we meet again..Ryan Shark."

As the match continued, Taro Hiroshi gained possession of the ball, and the substitution board was raised, signaling another change in the game's dynamics.
