Without anyone knowing, he tilted his head very slightly and smiled. Apollonia could tell it was directed at her.
In that short period, he managed to find a way to empower Apollonia. He evoked people’s nostalgia for the former emperor by bringing him up at the most glorious time for himself and even alluded to the fact that the current emperor fell short in comparison.
