“She resembles His Highness Prince Perris a little, especially the jawline,” Adrianne remarked as she lowered her head to examine the portrait in detail. “The color of her eyes isn’t the same as what His Highness had when he was young… but these eyes might appear light brown in sunlight.”
Apollonia nodded. As obvious as this may be, Perris didn’t possess any features unique to the imperial family, but many people assumed he was naturally blonde as he kept his hair dyed from a young age.
What puzzled Apollonia was the transformation of his light brown eyes into the same color as hers—red with a tinge of gold. This change occurred around five years ago, and no one knew the reason behind this change. The emperor had simply spread rumors that the features of the imperial family could develop late.
While Apollonia didn’t have an answer either, it wasn’t a matter of concern for her at the moment.
