Uriel gazed at Apollonia, his expression blank but his slightly furrowed brows revealing his confusion.

“I accept. Let’s get married,” Apollonia repeated.
Uriel’s proposal might have been in the spur of the moment, but her response was not. She had been contemplating nothing but marriage ever since she’d returned to the palace, and of course, the only person she had considered marrying was Uriel.
