Kiera stood in the middle of her almost empty studio apartment unit. Her eyes roamed round the place as if she was in search of something.
'That's about it.' She thought, as she threw a small bag filled with clothes into the wardrobe. Then she stood back and scratched the back of her head for a moment.
'Or should I just burn them? I doubt Ava will want to take any of it to where she's going…'
After a few minutes, Kiera finally let out a sigh, her lips curved Into a wry smile. 'I should just leave them here… for old time's sake.'
Ever since they left the underground for missions two years ago, this tiny apartment was all they truly had to their name. It wasn't much.
It was moldy, run down and really stinky but it was home. They both were happier here than they had ever been in that eerie mansion with Xandro.
Kiera took a look outside the small window to see that the sun was already setting. Her lips formed a thin line. 'It's almost time… I had better get going.'
