"That's right. It's you."

Ignoring the restless reactions around him, Shirou Emiya continued calmly.

"Don't underestimate yourself, Godou Kusanagi. You are a man with the potential to become a Campione."

"Me? A Campione?"

Godou Kusanagi, who already knew what a Campione was from earlier explanations, pointed at himself reflexively. His face was filled with disbelief.

The people around Shirou Emiya were no better.

Shock spread through the room.

"Please forgive my presumption, Your Majesty."

Erica stepped forward, her voice tight but respectful.

"Are you saying that this man before us truly has the potential to become a Campione?"

"That's right."

Shirou Emiya glanced around, taking in their expressions one by one.

"In fact, based on the clues that already exist, I've seen the future."

The room grew quieter.

"If I hadn't intervened," he continued evenly, "a certain knight would have come to this island."

"She would have met Godou Kusanagi."

"At that time, he would have become acquainted with Verethragna."

"Centered around the Prometheus Stone Slabs he carried, the two would have been drawn together."

He paused briefly, letting the image settle.

"After returning the stone slab, the mischievous Lucrezia would have handed it back to Godou Kusanagi."

"Not out of malice," Shirou Emiya said, tone flat. "But to prevent that knight-too proud for her own good-from going off to slay a god and getting herself killed."

"The result?"

"Godou Kusanagi, already familiar with Verethragna, would use the Prometheus Stone Slabs to steal a portion of his power."

"And finally..."

Shirou Emiya's gaze sharpened.

"During the battle between Verethragna and Mekal, he would deliver the finishing blow."

"And thus, a new Campione would be born."

Silence.

Absolute silence filled the living room.

Everyone present was digesting Shirou Emiya's deduction.

"This is too far-fetched, Your Majesty!"

Erica finally broke the stillness, her voice heated.

Forgetting herself, she even dropped the honorific.

"There are too many coincidences! The logic simply doesn't hold!"

"That's right," Shirou Emiya replied calmly. "It is far-fetched."

Erica froze.

"...It is?"

"But."

The single word halted all movement.

Shirou Emiya looked around slowly.

"Turning the impossible into the possible."

"Overcoming unreasonable odds."

"Reaching the most rational outcome despite everything."

"That," he said evenly, "is the fortune of a Campione."

Campiones were not simply strong.

They were lucky.

So lucky that their fortune could only be called destiny.

That was why such a saying existed in this world.

It was not that ordinary people slew gods and became Campiones.

It was that only those who were destined to become Campiones could slay gods.

The gap between humans and Heretic Gods was too vast.

Without overwhelming fortune, it was impossible to cross.

"Unfortunately," Shirou Emiya continued, "this time, the Campione was me."

"But," he added lightly, "I believe you may still have other opportunities in the future."

With that, he casually tossed the Prometheus Stone Slabs back.

Godou Kusanagi instinctively caught them.

"T-This is...?"

He stared at the stone slab in his hands, completely confused.

Shirou Emiya had spoken of futures and miracles, but none of it felt real to him. He wasn't someone who sought conflict. He had only just begun to grasp this strange world.

The weight in his hands felt unreal.

"It's yours."

Shirou Emiya waved his hand dismissively, a faint smile on his face.

"In someone else's hands, this thing might be meaningless."

"But in your hands..."

"Who knows? It might cause a miracle."

"I'm curious about that miracle."

Godou Kusanagi fell silent.

He gently traced the surface of the stone slab.

Accept it?

Refuse it?

He didn't know.

After a long pause, he finally asked earnestly, "Then... did you bring me here because you wanted to talk to me about something?"

"Of course."

Shirou Emiya rested his hands behind his head, completely unguarded.

"Your potential interferes with my plan."

"As you interact with Verethragna, under the influence of your absurd fortune, you might use the Prometheus Stone Slabs to steal part of his authority."

"If that happens," he said plainly, "even if I kill him, I won't obtain his authority."

"That would mean everything I've done was pointless."

"So I brought you here instead."

Shirou Emiya turned his gaze toward Lucrezia.

"This child is a friend of your friend."

"You'll take care of him for now."

"Until Verethragna is dealt with, this island is extremely dangerous."

"He'll be safest here."

"Yes," Lucrezia replied instantly. "Your subordinate understands."

She stepped forward, wrapped an arm around Godou Kusanagi's neck, and grinned.

"If you're Ichiro's descendant, then let Grandma take good care of you!"

"Eh-?!"

"Miss Lucrezia, what are you doing?!"

Ignoring his panicked protests, Lucrezia dragged him upstairs by the neck without hesitation.

Their voices quickly disappeared.

Watching their retreating figures, Shirou Emiya curled his lips slightly.

Then he turned toward the two women still kneeling.

"Now," he said, "it's your turn."

"Erica!"

Liliana tugged on Erica's sleeve, snapping her out of her thoughts.

The two immediately knelt on one knee.

"Your Majesty," they said in unison. "Please give your command."

"I recall," Shirou Emiya said casually, "that you are both geniuses of the local magical societies."

"Young ladies from prestigious magic families, correct?"

"Before Your Majesty," Erica replied honestly, "those titles mean nothing."

They didn't know what Shirou Emiya wanted.

But neither of them dared to take it lightly.

"In that case."

Shirou Emiya smiled gently.

"You will represent your respective magical societies."

"And pledge your allegiance to me."

"...What?"

Their hearts skipped.

Fear crept in instantly.

Although their societies were nominally under the King of Swords, changing allegiance so casually could provoke punishment. Even if they believed the King of Swords likely wouldn't act, they couldn't make that decision on their own.

"I know you can't decide this yourselves," Shirou Emiya said calmly.

"But you can convey my request to your leaders."

He paused.

"This is not an invitation."

"It is a command."

His tone remained gentle.

But the weight of a Campione pressed down unmistakably.

Shirou Emiya didn't enjoy forcing others.

But time was limited.

And when it came to brute force-

His was harder.
