"Do you want some water?" After bandaging Asher's wound, Artoria placed a cup of water by the bed.

"Mm... thanks," Asher said after taking a sip.

"Are you hungry?"

"Huh?"

"I said, are you hungry now?" Artoria frowned, then reached out and placed her hand on Asher's forehead. She muttered to herself, "Could it be an after-effect of the previous battle? You can't even understand what I'm saying?"

"My brain's fine," Asher said helplessly. He just thought it was a bit strange. When did Lily become so good at taking care of people? First bandaging, then pouring water, and now asking if he's hungry. Hmm, or rather...

Asher reached out and placed his hand on Artoria's

forehead. She didn't seem to have a fever, so she should be fine.

"What are you doing?" Artoria asked strangely.

"Just checking your temperature, don't worry about it," Asher waved his hand.

"I'm not sick," Artoria said, noticing Asher's subtle expression, a little displeased. "If you're hungry, I'll go prepare some food for you."

"You made it yourself?" Asher asked tentatively. Artoria nodded.

"Never mind, I'm not particularly hungry." Artoria: "..." I really want to slap his injured shoulder.

"Just kidding, to lighten the mood," Asher coughed, feeling Lily's displeased gaze, and then asked seriously, "Has anything happened these past few days while I was unconscious?" For example, how did the Knights of the Round Table, who now knew the truth, view him?

Although he didn't care much about the throne, Asher was still quite concerned about this.

Artoria put away her displeasure and sat up slightly.

"The affairs of state are being handled by the Knights of the Round Table, so there are no problems. You can rest assured and recover." Perhaps sensing Asher's worries, she continued, "It won't be easy for them to accept your identity so quickly, but don't worry, it's not entirely

moving in a bad direction."

"What about the situation with the foreign races?" Asher asked.

"They are completely under supervision. When Vortigern attacked the Leodegrance territory that night, he also sent people to invade the territories of several other kings, which probably gave the kings a considerable sense of crisis. Now it's much easier to discuss things with them." Asher nodded slightly, then smiled, "You seem to handle these matters much better than I do, Lily."

"This way, even if I'm not here in the future, I can rest assured."

"Not here?" Artoria raised her eyes and gazed into Asher's eyes. "At this point, you're not still thinking of leaving, are you?"

"If the Knights of the Round Table eventually decide you're better suited to be King Arthur, I'll hand the throne over to you," Asher said. "With Sister Morgan around, there shouldn't be any problems."

"And you?" she pressed relentlessly.

"I... should return to the Land of Shadows." Noticing Artoria's expression instantly stiffen, Asher could probably guess her thoughts and quickly added, "Don't worry, even when I was in the Land of Shadows, I could cross mountains and rivers to see you every day. It's even easier now."

"If that day truly comes," Artoria lowered her gaze, "I will confine you to Britain." Why does that sound like she's not joking? Looking at Artoria's serious expression, Asher felt an inexplicable chill. He could tell that Lily really wasn't joking.

A very ill-timed growl came from Artoria's stomach in the room.

"You're hungry?" Asher looked at Artoria. Artoria's cheeks instantly flushed. Feeling Asher's gaze, she whispered,

"Just a little bit..." It was understandable. After all, Artoria had been guarding Asher's room since the evening. The Ahoge-chan, who was known for being able to empty the national treasury, hadn't eaten all night.

This was quite a serious matter.

"I'm fine here. Go get something to eat, Lily," Asher said with a chuckle. Normally, a serious Artoria was very attractive, but occasionally, like now, a girl who blushed because she was hungry was quite cute too. As for the overly mature Lily he had seen when he was half-asleep, well... she seemed pretty good too.

"I'll stay here," Artoria just shook her head, with no intention of leaving. Knowing he couldn't convince her, Asher didn't bother trying anymore, nodding slightly. "If you can endure it, it's fine. Anyway, eating in the middle of the night isn't good."

"Are you going to find your Shishou?" Artoria asked.

Although Scathach and the others hadn't shown too much concern these past few days, anyone with eyes could tell that Scathach really cared about her disciple. The reason was her increasingly violent attacks during spars with the Knights of the Round Table due to frustration, which was undoubtedly her way of venting her inner gloom. If she knew Asher was awake, Scathach would surely rush over immediately.

Asher shook his head and said, "Let's wait until tomorrow. Shishou and the others are probably resting now." As he said this, Asher glanced at Artoria. A hint of unconcealed fatigue showed on her delicate face. "You haven't been sleeping all night and just guarding my room, have you?" Asher couldn't help but ask. Artoria didn't speak, essentially confirming it. Asher sighed in admiration. "You really touch me." Artoria looked up in surprise. Ash would actually say something like that?

"To endure losing out on proper growth and stay up all night taking care of me, that spirit is commendable," Asher said. "This way, I'll always be taller than you."

"..." Artoria was stunned, looking at Asher. Asher was meeting her gaze. The next moment, Artoria extended an index finger and poked Asher's shoulder.

"Hiss!" The sudden pain made Asher's body involuntarily flinch. He gasped, quickly raising his other hand to stop Artoria's finger from poking his shoulder again. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry, don't touch there again." Artoria then retracted her hand and said expressionlessly, "Your injury hasn't healed yet, so I'll continue to handle the affairs of state these next few days. You should rest well."

Asher nodded gently, lay back down, then glanced at the girl quietly sitting in the chair, and tentatively asked, "Why don't you sleep here too?" Artoria shook her head, her attitude firm: "I can't sleep with a patient."

"My illness is long gone," Asher muttered, subconsciously glancing at his injured shoulder. This injury was probably from fighting Vortigern. After all, in that situation, he simply couldn't afford to pay attention to any minor injuries. No matter what, he couldn't believe this injury was caused by the dream he just had. By the way, what was I dreaming about?

Asher suddenly wondered as he lay in bed. It seemed he dreamed of a girl... What was her name? Never mind, I won't think about it. That's how dreams are. When you wake up, you might remember a little bit, but as time passes, no matter how hard you try to recall, you won't be able to remember what happened in that dream or who you met.

A soft touch suddenly came from beside him, pulling Asher back to reality. Turning his head, Artoria had somehow slipped into the bed. Perhaps sensing Asher's gaze, she said in as calm a tone as possible, "Although I can't sleep with a patient, it's fine as long as I don't fall asleep." This explanation sounded a bit forced, but Asher just smiled and didn't expose her. It wasn't that he didn't want to speak, but he was afraid this Ahoge-chan would poke his injured shoulder again with her finger. It really hurt like hell... But now, the wound seemed to have recovered a lot. Is my recovery ability this strong?

As these random thoughts filled his mind, his vision once again became blurry. Asher soon felt a wave of sleepiness, and then, he didn't even know when he fell asleep. When Asher opened his eyes again, he saw the surrounding trees and the girl walking in front of him, carrying him on her back.

Asher was a bit bewildered. This dream can continue further?
