By the time Artoria finished handling a day's worth of government affairs, the sun had already set. She didn't go to rest, but instead went directly to Asher's room after leaving the office.

"So I told you, I don't know either! The scabbard is definitely real, I swear by Merlin's integrity that I didn't lie to you!"

"I really didn't lie to you! Don't you trust me if you don't trust Merlin?"

"Can you believe him?" Morgan's cold voice sounded.

"Is Ash still not awake?" Artoria looked at Asher, who was still unconscious on the bed, frowning slightly.

"Logically, his injuries should have completely healed by now, right?"

"I've confirmed it. His superficial injuries have basically recovered, but I don't know why he's still not awake,"

Morgan looked at Viviane in front of her. "That's why I'm suspecting if there's something wrong with the scabbard."

Viviane pouted aggrievedly, gently shaking her twin tails that reached her calves. "I said it, the scabbard is definitely real! Besides, how could Avalon possibly be faked?"

"If even the Caliburn can be faked, faking a scabbard isn't impossible either," Morgan said coldly, staring at Viviane.

"You don't trust me that much?"

"You've lied to me more than once," Morgan replied coldly.

"If it can heal my disciple's injuries, I think it should be real," Scathach glanced at Viviane. "Besides, she gave you that scabbard after drinking truth serum. You should have confirmed whether the scabbard was real after that, right?"

Morgan was silent.

She certainly knew the scabbard was real, but this still couldn't convince her.

His injuries had clearly completely healed, yet there was still no sign of him waking up. Why?

"Could it be that he doesn't want to wake up himself?" Artoria murmured softly to herself.

"How could that be? How could Ash not want to wake up?" Uathach immediately shook her head, refuting the idea.

"Trapped in a dream by that old pervert Merlin, unable to wake up... Could that be it?" Morgan asked thoughtfully.

"Let's go see Merlin later," Scathach said. "But I don't think it's very likely. Perhaps it's internal damage, like mental trauma that hasn't fully recovered yet?"

"Maybe some kind of ritual is needed to wake him up, like giving him a kiss or something," Uathach suddenly said.

"No, no, no, how could that possibly be? A kiss can wake him up... What kind of strange magic is that?" Viviane waved her hand, complaining somewhat speechlessly, then looked at the few people in the room.

Although everyone's ideas had just been immediately denied by the others, now there was no sound in the room.

"Um, you guys don't actually think this method is feasible, do you...?" Viviane blinked.

"Then let's temporarily classify it as a possibility," Uathach scribbled on the table, then looked up. "Does anyone else have anything to say?"

No one spoke again.

"Then let's wait two more days," Scathach said. "If it really doesn't work, we'll have to take some action."

"Whose turn is it tonight?" Morgan asked.

During the two days Asher was unconscious, one person guarded his bedside every half-day, and tonight would be the same.

Artoria raised her hand, her emerald eyes scanning those present, and said, "Everyone, please go rest. I'll take care of him tonight."

"Are you really okay? You just recovered from a serious illness. If you can't, it's fine for someone else to take your place," Morgan said with concern.

"Yeah, Lily, it'd be so nice if you slept with me tonight,"

Uathach hugged Artoria's arm, gently rubbing her cheek against it, like a clingy cat.

"No need," Artoria simply shook her head and said seriously, "This is my duty as the King's court steward.

There's nothing wrong with my body. Please feel free to entrust Ash to me."

"Although it's a shame we can't sleep together tonight, I'm relieved if Ash is being looked after by Lily," Uathach said with a giggle.

Then, she sighed again, "If only Guinevere were here."

Guinevere's body was too frail compared to those present. Asher's battle with Vortigern that day, even just the aftershocks of the battle, had caused her some injuries. Although the injuries had healed, she still needed to rest. Otherwise, she would probably be more suitable to care for Asher.

After all, among the people in the room, one was the

Goddess of Death forget taking care of people, she'd probably be more skilled at killing. As for the Queen of the Land of Shadows, there was no need to mention her; she was a battle maniac before and completely out of place when it came to caring for others. And Uathach was someone who couldn't sit still; it seemed she secretly burrowed into Asher's bed in the middle of the night yesterday and slept soundly with him.

As for Artoria, she had spent her childhood in training, so it was naturally impossible for her to know how to care for people.

"I can take good care of him too," Artoria heard Uathach's meaning and frowned in displeasure.

Since Artoria had said this much, the others naturally didn't say anything more, only reminding her before leaving that if Asher woke up, she should inform them, and then they left the room.

After watching the group leave, the lively room returned to silence. Artoria silently gazed at Asher.

She thought about what had happened in the past two days. The Knights of the Round Table had accepted things faster than expected. She didn't know if Morgan had secretly done her homework, or if they themselves had good receptiveness. In any case, everything was proceeding as usual, and Britain would probably get better and better.

It was as if Asher's presence didn't matter.

Everyone had accepted her so frankly, but this made her feel even more afraid.

Artoria wasn't afraid of becoming the acting king, nor was she afraid of not doing well with these government affairs.

She was just afraid that Asher would suddenly disappear.

Just thinking about it made her feel terrified.

So, she reached out, pushed aside Asher's bangs, and then

lightly kissed his forehead.

Only then could she feel that Asher was truly there.

Everyone thought Artoria was an honorable knight, some even said she didn't understand others' inner thoughts.

Perhaps that was truly the case, but in fact, she wasn't

honorable at all.

Because he had said, "Honesty in life and in government affairs can be separated."

In other words, "For the things you like, you should do what you want to do."

It could probably be understood this way... probably.

Artoria gently rested her forehead on Asher's chest and

whispered.

"Wake up quickly, Ash."

Or was it truly like Uathach had just said, that he would only wake up after a kiss?

Artoria's gaze lingered on Asher's lips for a moment.
