Raindrops splattered densely against the glass window.
Looking out, the garden outside was rendered hazy by the rain.
"What's wrong?" Scathach tilted her head slightly, listening to the rain outside. Water droplets trickled down her reddish-purple hair, splashing tiny ripples on the floor. Scathach clearly noticed Asher's fervent gaze and could even feel her disciple's breathing quicken, but she didn't pay too much attention, naturally taking the towel Asher offered her.
"Nothing." Asher forced his gaze away, then pointed to a certain direction in the room. "Shishou, there's a shower room over there. Go take a hot bath later, so you don't catch a cold."
A cold...? Scathach suppressed a laugh and nodded gently.
Her disciple actually thought she would catch a cold...
Should she call him too foolish, or just flustered with concern? Scathach wiped the water droplets from her head, then glanced at Asher, who was also soaking wet. After a moment of thought, she said, "Come over here."
Asher hesitated.
"Just come," Scathach's voice came again. So, he had no choice but to step closer, but he still maintained a small distance from Scathach.
"You weren't so timid just now. Are you getting timid in a confined space?" Scathach took two steps forward, still holding the towel.
"Turn around." Her tone was light, like an empress giving a command. Asher unconsciously turned around.
Scathach placed the towel on Asher's head and, while helping him wipe, spoke, "Your physical strength has never been great since you were little. If you're worried about me catching a cold, you should first ensure your own health."
Asher remained silent, allowing Scathach to help dry his drenched hair. He suddenly felt that this rain seemed quite nice. His Shishou had never been so attentive before; this was the first time.
Outside, a flash of white light streaked across, followed by a thunderclap that shook the sky. Asher had just been immersed in his Shishou's tenderness, but the startling thunderclap made him considerably more sober. He turned and said, "That's enough, Shishou."
"You go take a hot bath first," Asher pointed to a direction outside the room door. "Just go straight in that direction and you'll see it. Someone should have given you a tour here before, right?" Scathach nodded gently, then gave Asher a meaningful look.
"Are you in such a hurry to send me to bathe...?"
"That's not what I meant!" Asher said loudly.
"What do you mean by 'that'?" Scathach asked, confused.
Asher: "..."
"Just a joke, you're still too impetuous." Scathach lectured her disciple earnestly, but her eyes were full of playful teasing. Compared to her previous serious teaching, she suddenly found it quite interesting to tease her disciple this way.
No wonder that goddess liked to tease my disciple so much before... Observing his reactions like this is indeed quite amusing. But she couldn't tease him too much, or her Shishou's image would crumble.
"The bath is over there, isn't it?" Scathach lifted her chin, indicating the direction Asher had just pointed. Asher nodded, his ears slightly flushed.
"You were also drenched just now, aren't you going to take a hot bath?" Scathach asked.
"I'll just dry myself. Shishou, you go first," Asher said.
"I'll go borrow some clothes for you from someone else."
Scathach clearly hadn't expected to get drenched when she arrived, so she naturally didn't have extra clothes.
However, thankfully, this was the palace, so borrowing a set of clothes was easy enough; it wasn't a big problem.
Scathach observed Asher's expression.
Asher kept his head down as he spoke, completely unwilling to look up at her. This made sense, because being completely drenched, Scathach's clothes clung tightly to her skin, revealing her perfect figure.
When Asher looked up, he could even see certain scenes that would cause nosebleeds, which was why he kept his head down. If his Shishou noticed his gaze constantly on her body, he would definitely be teased again.
"Aren't you joining me for the bath?" Scathach suddenly asked.
"?!"
"Just a joke, your adaptability still needs to be improved."
Scathach gave Asher a teasing glance. "Just leave the clothes outside the door later." After speaking, Scathach turned and walked towards the bath.
Asher finally let out a long sigh of relief after seeing that tempting back leave the room. It was the first time he found being with his Shishou so tiring. If he continued to talk with Scathach like this, he was afraid he really wouldn't be able to control himself. Asher finally managed to compose his thoughts, then took out another towel. After drying himself and changing into a dry set of clothes, he left the room.
"Oh, right, who should I go to borrow clothes from?" Just as he stepped out of the room, Asher tapped his head, suddenly remembering this important matter. "Surely, I should go to Lily, right?"
Lily had just finished training earlier; she must be back in her room by now..
"Did you just call my name?" Just then, a voice came from in front of him. Asher looked up and saw Artoria standing before him. Perhaps she had also been caught in the rain earlier, or for some other reason, Artoria had changed into a more casual dress, looking pretty and elegant.
"Hmm... I don't think it's quite suitable," Asher sighed, shaking his head after eyeing her up and down a few times. Lily was still too short, and her development was average. Shishou probably wouldn't be able to wear her clothes.
Not suitable? Artoria frowned, looking at the troubled expression on Asher's face. Asher clearly didn't notice the unhappy girl in front of him. He rested his chin in his hand, still pondering who would be suitable. Sir Milo could be considered... but he had a feeling she might not be in her room at this time.
Guinevere... she was pretty much like Lily, though well-developed, still just a young girl. So that leaves only Sister Morgan, right? Asher thought long and hard. The only one whose figure was somewhat similar to Scathach's was Morgan Le Fay. Otherwise, he would have to go to the palace maids. But for a dignified King Arthur to go to a maid to borrow clothes... it felt strange no matter how he thought about it.
By the time Asher came to his senses, Artoria had already walked away. He muttered to himself, somewhat bewildered, "Why did Lily leave today without even saying hello?"
Never mind, I'll worry about that later. I should go borrow clothes as soon as possible. Asher shook his head and walked towards Morgan Le Fay's room.
...
In the mist-filled bath, Scathach removed her boots, revealing her tender white feet. Her drenched tight-fitting clothes were set aside. Her long legs and fair skin appeared and disappeared in the mist, creating a captivating, hazy beauty. Recalling her conversation with Asher just now, Scathach's expression was softer than usual. Indeed, compared to being a strict Shishou as before, being like this now was much more relaxing.
Remembering Asher's various reactions just now, Scathach shook her head helplessly, but her eyes were exceptionally gentle.
Even though he was drenched himself, his first thought was still of his Shishou. He even dried himself and then rushed to borrow clothes for her. He truly was a foolish disciple. She shouldn't disappoint his good intentions.
Calculating the time, he should be on his way to borrow clothes now, and would probably be back soon. Scathach lightly tapped the bath with her foot, about to step in, but then, as if something occurred to her, she paused slightly.
Wait... Who will the disciple go to borrow clothes from?
