And as ordered, another one in line walked. This place I was at at the time was the "Court of Future Destiny". The Great Enma Yama (King and Judge of the Underworld) with red skin, noble Taoist robes and Oni horns judged in front of me.
Honestly, I was calm, I couldn't believe I had done horrible things to have so much bad Karma, and my life was too mediocre for perfectly pure Karma.
"NEXT!"
"Ah.. my turn." Walking calmly, I stopped in front of the giant over 10 meters tall, honestly it was terrifying, but I knew I would be judged fairly and—
"WORLD OF ASHURA, GO TO THE WHEEL OF SAMSARA."
"WHAT?" What the hell is this? He didn't even look at the list like he did with the others and just threw me into hell. "TH-THIS IS NOT FAIR!"
Apparently, that was the wrong answer.
"HOW DARE YOU GO AGAINST MY DECISION? MERE MORTAL!?"
The giant seemed to grow EVEN LARGER, seeming to reach the heavens. Fire roared from his mouth and his breath stank of sulfur and pepper. Before I could open my mouth again, the Great God roared again.
"Do you, young son, do you know HOW MANY times you have come here? Your reincarnations are the worst, always dying in ridiculous ways and with incredible numbers of absurd requests, it is time for you to be rebuilt!"
Wait— Have I been here before? Damn, I must really be the annoying guy. But before I could continue that train of thought, Yama's enormous fist grabbed me with its claws, suffocating my soul and squeezing it.
"BUT, since you're so dissatisfied with your fate, I think it's only fair that I give you your long-awaited "better life", right?"
His big, toothy, shit-eating grin wasn't welcoming, no way. I was completely screwed.
"GET OUT OF MY SIGHT NOW, AND DON'T COME BACK FOR THE NEXT 10,000 YEARS, BEAST OF DARKNESS!"
And in that loving way, I was thrown towards the wheel of reincarnation like a ballistic missile, going straight through it to one of the worlds classified as "Dark Kingdoms", the darkest realms to live in.
And then—
"That's how I got reincarnated.."
