Leng Shi wasn't wrong for calling Poland a tough nut to crack because even though Huo Feng was the superior, that was only due to him being more calm and collected than Poland, who was easy to anger thereby causing him to be easier defeat due to that shortcoming. That was why Huo Feng was able to easily toss him to the ground earlier when he was charging at the female personnel. However, when it came to strength and battle prowess, Poland was without doubt the superior.
"Not if I pop your head before you get the chance to clench your nuts" replied Poland as the handle of his weapon withdrew the ball-head by retracting the chain attached to it. The retraction was done even before he was done talking, and as soon as the head connected with the handle, he lifted his weapon, which now looked like a lollipop, above his head in an attempt to attack.
"Before you pop my head, I've got a question to ask you" said Leng Shi, causing Poland to stop in his tracks and look at Leng Shi. The reason he stopped wasn't because he loved answering questions but because he felt that wasting time wasn't a detrimental thing to their side since reinforcements would arrive if they waited long enough.
Upon seeing Poland stop and look at him, Leng Shi smiled behind his mask and placing his palm on his face, he looked at the female personnel, then back to Poland and asked him "Does your face hurt?"
Upon hearing this, Poland's fury soared and the lollipop in his mouth was crushed due to him biting it. He was angry because he was slapped, the anger was then doubled because it was done by woman that wasn't even a Lolita, and now his anger was tripled because he found out that the one that made those secret remarks that got him slapped was in front of him.
"You Bastard" cursed Poland as his HTB suit and weapon began to release rainbow-colored light from its creaks and lines. This was a sign that he was powering his HTB suit to the max. When his power peaked, spikes emerged from the head of his Giant-mace.
The female personnel who was known as Catty (short for Catherine) instinctively took a step back upon seeing his power rise. Never did she expect that the rogue she slapped was the famously powerful Lollipop that was known for his immense strength, high combat ability and his 3 Ls, namely: Lollipops, Lolita and his Lollipop weapon called Lolly. He called his weapon Lolly because when "LolliPOPPING"his opponent's heads he throws the ball of the mace like a Lolly thrown to kids.
Secondly, she never expected that the calm and collected superior that worked in the control room was actually the similarly famously powerful Fire Knight who was known for his flame blade, noble style, knightly disposition and destructive capability. It was said that he would've incinerated the entire earth if not because he was a knight.
Thirdly, she never expected that she was actually given a chance to work with these Rank 3 HTB suit wielding monsters. But upon remembering how she slapped and talked to them due to her feeling unrivaled because she possessed a Rank 1 HTB Suit, she immediately felt fear, fear of them (Lollipop in particular) switching their target to her. Luckily for her, that never happened.
But right as Lollipop was about to erupt with all that power, he suddenly felt a bout of dizziness assault him.
It turned out that the little pipe, that was the stick of the Lollipop he sucking, contained a small mechanism that released a colorless and odorless sedative whose effect wasn't long-lasting but was pretty strong in it's short-lived time of effect.
"Thank goodness" said Leng Shi with a sigh. He thought to himself "Although I'm glad that girl's slap packed some weight, it almost messed things up after the shock from it fucked with the remote explosion of the sedative's mechanism. But thankfully he bit the lollipop or else the only thing left for us would've been to flee"
Poland, upon feeling that he was drugged, suppressed his shock and began to forcefully channel his energy into an attack that would be used to defend against any follow-up attack that Frost King would throw at him since he was currently stunned, or, on the off-chance that Frost King would flee instead, he would just withdraw his energy and hunt him down.
Meanwhile, Huo Feng, who had been quiet this whole time, was currently thinking and asking himself why Leng Shi neither attacked nor tried fleeing as expected, and why his partner, the Bolt King, hadn't showed up. But after he remembered the flash drive that was connected to the control panel earlier on, something seemed to dawn on him, which caused him to immediately activate his infrared vision, and what he saw caused him to promptly scream "Wait, Don't tell me. Poland! the Bolt King!"
"Too late..." said Leng Shi
BOOM
An electric super-charged energy beam fanged out of the ground, blasting into Poland and sending him flying through the air.
"Poland!" "Lollipop!" cried Huo Feng and Catherine.
After Poland crashed into a distant hill, Lei Shi, the Bolt King, who was wearing a Black and Yellow HTB Suit jumped out of the underground floor and unto the surface while laughing "Hahahaha, Bull's-eye!" he exclaimed "He really does go stupid when he gets angry" he added after he landed on the floor.
"Lei Shi!" shouted Huo Feng hatefully as he glared at Lei Shi with eyes full of killing intent whilst his suit powered up and began to release immense heat.
"Sup, Flame Knight. You should really tell your friend to stop buying lollipops from the same convenience store" replied Lei Shi in an advising tone.
"Die!!" shouted Huo Feng as his anger seemed to reach a boiling point.
He pointed his gun at Lei Shi and poured all his suit's accumulated energy into it, and that caused half a meter wide orange fireball to condense at its nozzle.
BOOM
Without any hesitation, Huo Feng shot the fireball as soon as it formed. The fireball crossed the distance between them in the blink of an eye while radiating world-annihilating heat that scorched the ground and ignited the surrounding sparse vegetation a second after it had passed.
But right before it struck Lei Shi, out of nowhere, a blue orb emitting bone-chilling coldness that froze the ground and vegetation it passed by suddenly intercepted the fireball causing it to violently explode since the orb was its polar opposite.
But on close inspection, the fireball seemed to have been bigger than the cold blue orb. However, that didn't cause the devouring of the blue orb by the fireball nor the neutralization of both parties, instead, due to the absolute difference in properties of both spheres, and the difference in their sizes being too great, the outcome of the collision was a terrifying explosion with flames blazing violently, completely unrestrained by coldness of the cold orb.
Lei Shi who had begun retreating as soon as the attack was shot managed to escape the blast radius of the explosion thereby displaying high reflexes and great speed.
"Unscathed? No wonder you're called Bolt King, your speed isn't to be trifled with" commented Huo Feng after seeing Lei Shi escape unharmed. "But that only makes you a fly to be swatted to death!" added Huo Feng as he charged at Lei Shi with thrusters that augmented his speed appearing on his back.
"Swoosh" before even getting close to Lei Shi, Leng Shi intercepted the charging Huo Feng. Not giving him a chance to compete in speed with Lei Shi.
"Your opponent is me" said Leng Shi as he stood in front of Huo Feng with a saber in his right-hand and his gun, a three-foot canon that he used to shoot the earlier blue orb, in his left.
After seeing Huo Feng halt upon seeing him stand in his path, Leng Shi said while returning his already shrinking gun to its holster "I've always heard knights were great masters of the sword".
He inserted his now 9-inch gun into its holster that was located at his left thigh, then he looked at Huo Feng fiercely and said in a firm tone while emitting intense battle intent "Don't disappoint me".
Huo Feng was surprised. He busted into laughter and said with an equally fierce gaze "You both ganging up on me to kill me, I would've understood or you stalling me as Bolt King flees with the stolen package in his backpack, I would've understood more, but you, a weakling, choosing to duel me to the death just to prove whether or not I am a true Knight is an insult I never expected" talking to this point Huo Feng pulled out a metal sword hilt from his belt, then held it's handle in front of his chest and declared in a forceful tone "You will die for that".
As soon as Huo Feng's words fell, his HTB suit powered up explosively and the temperature around him shot up by dozens of degrees as a Black and Orange blade arched out of the top of the hilt.
"You will die a foolish death for challenging me, a Rank 3 HTB Suit wielder, with your weak Rank 2 HTB Suit" said Huo Feng as he charged at Leng Shi with his sword whose orange blade was emitting terrifying heat.
Leng Shi similarly powered up and charged at Huo Feng, holding his blue and black saber in his hand, not backing down one bit.
