"I'm…going to be a mother?" Seeing the tears forming in Yasaka's eyes, Kenshin instantly rushed to her side, comforting her.
"Hey. Hey, it's okay. It'll be okay. I'm here with you. We'll go through it together, okay?" He gently caressed her shoulders, using his Massage skill to try and lessen the tension on her body.
Unbeknownst to him, Yasaka wasn't feeling tense or anything like that. Kenshin simply misunderstood the tears in her eyes as her being stressed.
"No. I'm okay. I'm actually more than just okay. Kenshin…what I'm truly worried about is you. I've wanted this for a long time but you…you weren't expecting this. If it's bad for you, then I can take care of her by mysel—" Before Yasaka's panicking voice could further worsen her situation, Kenshin shuts her up with a deep kiss.
By the time he seperated, a thin bridge of saliva was formed between them.
"Kunou." He muttered, much to Yasaka's confusion, "Kunou?"
He nodded his head and continued, clarifying to her, "That's the name I've decided for her. If my Ki senses aren't betraying me then she'll be a girl."
Gasp!
The realization struck her hard to the point that Yasaka even covered her mouth with her hand, clearly, she wasn't expecting that Kenshin wouldn't just accept the child as part of his responsibility but even go as far as giving her a name.
When she recovered, she couldn't help but curiously ask, "What made you think of Kunou as her name though?" Could it be the name of Kenshin's ex-girlfriend? But as far as she knew, he was a virgin until she claimed him for herself.
Kenshin froze on the spot. To be honest, he doesn't know either. The name just suddenly came to his mind and he blurted it out without thinking much about it. Though a small part of him also thinks that the name sounds amazing, hence why there's no need to make a fuss about it.
"I'm not sure. It just came to my mind all of a sudden, as if the Universe itself bent its will just to give me a heads up in deciding her name." There's no reason for him to lie to her, if she doesn't like the name or his reason behind it, it's fine. It's her daughter after all—to him, mothers should always have the higher priority than the father over their child since they technically came out of them.
Kenshin looked at her and said, "If you don't like it, just say the word, we can come up with a better nam—" Though before he could finish his words, Yasaka interrupted him.
"I like it. Very much…You say the Universe bent its will to be the one to pick her name? It just means that she's someone special, not just to me but also to the Universe itself." She uttered dreamily.
Kenshin simply chuckled at it. Well if she wants to think of it that way then so be it, he'll do the same thing and imagine his upcoming child to be special.
He asked, "Do you want me to deliver the news to your mother or do you want to do it yourself?" The Yokai Queen shook her head and replied.
"I'll do it myself."
Kenshin already knew the answer just as he had asked the question earlier, "Alright, I'll send you back right now then," he raised his hand and prepared to activate the teleportation circle.
"Oh and before I forget, say hi for me. Haven't seen her for a while."
Yasaka softly chuckled and bobbed her head in a nod, "I'll call you later so bring me back." A few seconds later, the teleportation circle came to life and she didn't resist one bit as it whisked her away back to her mansion in Kyoto.
Now that she was gone, for some reason, Kenshin started to feel a bit lonely. His surroundings are extremely quiet.
Thankfully, she wouldn't disappear for that long. Like what she just said before getting teleported away, she'll call him to bring her back.
After all, she still has to fulfill her promise of sending a message to the Underworld not to mess with Yokais. Doesn't matter if she makes an enemy out of the entirety of the devil race.
"Well then, all I gotta do is stay out of trouble for a while until she gets back. She won't like missing out on the fun." Kenshin murmured under his breath.
He then seemed to remember something and took Sukuna's finger out, curiously assessing it with his eyes. His supernatural senses were telling him that the finger is alive and conscious which is definitely Sukuna himself.
"Now I wonder what I should do about you. I can try to destroy you but the series depicted that the fingers are unbreakable or else Gojo himself could've destroyed it long ago with a Hollow Purple..." he murmured under his breath, twirling the tip of the finger to the tip of his before closing his fist, crushing the finger inside.
Or at least that's what he intends to do but the moment he pried his palm open, the finger remained the same, not even a slight damage was inflicted on it.
Kenshin sighed. Perhaps destroying the fingers for now would be impossible for his current physical body.
"Thankfully, Ophis taught me that thing…" A grin crept up to Kenshin's face as he threw the finger in the air, watching it rotate mid-air before snapping his finger.
Void Manipulation.
An ultimate form of energy that once it touched something or someone, would instantly vanish from the face of the Earth, including their parallel ones.
A very overpowered and broken energy that was taught by none other than the Infinity Dragon Goddess. Sometimes, he wonders how someone possessing such an ability was unable to kill the Great Red.
Snap!
At the exact moment he felt the large drain on his energy reserves which was instantly replaced in the blink of an eye, the finger that would terrorize Japan and the world of Jujutsu Sorcerers in the future vanished.
Now that the matter is settled, Kenshin wondered what would happen to its parallel selves. Such as the parallel ones that were already consumed by Itadori, would he lose Sukuna or at least weaken himself in case he already ate other fingers?
So many questions and yet it would remain unanswered for a long time or probably never.
Kenshin's face took a serious turn, his eyes becoming slightly grim, "Now that's done, hopefully I can find the other fingers here in the Underworld and purify them."
Although Sukuna is a force to be reckoned with, especially since the guy looks to be stronger than his counterpart, Kenshin had to make sure he would stay dead. If the history books written in the Kyoto Yokai faction's library are correct, then Sukuna needed the combined forces of Angels, Devils, Fallens, Yokais, and jujutsu Sorcerers just to take him down.
Kenshin has never heard of such a feat in his entire fifteen thousand years of living—if you exclude him who had to take on billions of Demons back in the world of Fantazio all by himself.
Hence, Kenshin swore that he wouldn't ever let the man-made demon go back out in the real world. Better let him stay dead forever.
"Sitri clan territory it is…" Kenshin stared at the purple sky and the purple sun, he didn't know if it was already night or still daylight. Destroying the Naberius research facilities made him lose track of the time.
Thankfully, some facilities contained a detailed map of the Underworld, so he knew the road to Sitri territory. Though the road system in the Underworld is quite similar to the human world, it has its own tolls and complicated paperwork when entering another pillar's territory.
Not to mention, after reading the children's memories earlier before the facility staff left them yesterday, they overheard them talking about Naberius territory being on a lockdown and the nearby territories were being wary of anyone entering from the Naberius clan.
At first, Kenshin came up with the idea of flying over territories but he didn't want to bet if the devils were prepared for illegal immigrants using the same method. Devils can naturally fly thanks to their wings after all.
"I'm gonna need a shortcut…" He muttered under his breath. Checking the map over again and again before his eyes traced to the other end of the Naberius territory.
According to the accumulated stolen memories he had over the Underworld, this is the Barbatos clan territory. The clan itself was already extinct especially when the last surviving member married off to another clan.
Normally, when a clan is extinct, the territory would be handed over either to whoever buys it from the Devil Council or the territory was handed over to someone before extinction.
The situation in the Barbatos clan is different. The territory is still named after the last surviving member even if the said member has been married to another clan. Albeit that particular member no longer cares about the territory and barely visits it anymore, leaving it unattended and rotting.
What does that mean? The Barbatos clan is free to enter without any repercussions, as long as he can evade the lockdown inside the Naberius clan, he'll be safe on the other side.
"Barbatos clan it is," Kenshin trailed the edges of the Barbatos clan's territory until his gaze landed on its left end, "Astaroth clan…Heard they're a bunch of arrogant fools thanks to their Satan Ajuka…"
Nevertheless, the Astaroth clan would be Kenshin's next destination after Barbatos.

"Mom?"
After getting back to Kyoto, Yasaka wasted no time searching for her mother, eager to share the news of her pregnancy with her. Having a grandchild is one of her greatest dreams and joys.
Taking a sharp turn to a familiar corner in the hallway, Yasaka arrived in her mother's personal room. As soon as she entered, her nostrils were invaded with the familiar smell of Jasmine tea and perfume.
"Yasaka, dear? What's going on? Need my help again?" Inari emerged from the bathroom, water droplets sticking to her skin. Her upper body, just below the collar bone was covered in a damp white towel.
Yasaka simply deadpanned at her, "So after kicking dad out of the family, you suddenly turned into a masochist, huh Mom?" Her tone was mixed with slight teasing.
Inari covered her mouth as she chuckled, "Don't mention that man anymore. So, why're you really here, dear?"
Now that the jokes are gone, it's time for the serious topic, and not gonna lie, despite the initial excitement from earlier, Yasaka was suddenly feeling butterflies in her stomach.
"I'm…I'm pregnant, mom…Kenshin is the father and he said he'll take responsibility." Yasaka closed her eyes and as soon as she was finished, she prayed in her heart and hoped for the best.
Her reaction however, was out of Yasaka's expectations, "Oh that? I've actually known about it for a long time."
When those words graced Yasaka's ears, her eyes snapped back open and she stared at her mother in surprise, "Wait what?! How'd you?"
Inari softly chuckled again before answering, all while making her way towards the wardrobe, her hips unconsciously swaying in the process.
"I'm your mother, Yasaka. Of course, I'll notice the small changes in you including how you always wake up with mood swings, you always go to the bathroom to pee and I caught you one time vomiting in which you mistook for a side-effect of possessing two Leylines…"
By the end of her explanation in which she discussed her weird behavior these past few days that even Yasaka herself could barely remember, she was left gobsmacked.
"How in the Kenshin's girthy cock did you notice all those things?!"
