"Sounds fun. Fill me in right now." As a caring older brother, if it makes his little sister excited to tell him about, he wouldn't hesitate to abandon whatever he's doing to listen.
Ophis was so excited that the corner end of her right lip slightly curved upward, "I plan to gather every strongest in the world and make them fight Baka-Red for me. It's a great plan! You can help me!"
Kenshin slightly puckered his lips, falling into deep thinking, Gather the strongest huh, is Satoru Gojo qualified to join? So far, aside from Ophis, he's the second strongest I've met…
Before Kenshin could answer, he sensed a shift in the air on top of him.
Instantly, he disappeared and reappeared a few meters away, just in time as the Cursed Spirit from earlier heavily landed on the place he was at before.
"…Seriously, is that why you have such big legs? To only use it to jump and land on someone? Have you tried to…you know, kick someone?" Kenshin's words serve to irritate the Cursed Spirit.
And his ragebait miraculously worked.
"Rarrgghh!"
Thanks to Kenshin's advice, instead of jumping, the Cursed Spirit raised his right leg before bringing it down on him.
"There you go! No 'thank you'? What an ungrateful Spirit." Kenshin raised his hand and gave it a thumbs down and booed.
A loud gust of wind blew over his face, the Cursed Spirit's legs were nearing his face so Kenshin did what he had to do.
He raised his forearm and let the huge shin collide with it.
BOOOMM!
The ground he's standing on caved in, forming a large crater upon impact. However, Kenshin remained still in his position, not moving an inch despite the humongous leg straining on top of him.
"GRREGGH!" The Cursed Spirit groaned, gritting its teeth as it tried to put more strength into the kick.
Unfortunately for him, Kenshin's high stats aren't for show. No matter how large the cursed spirit's leg is, Kenshin didn't budge.
Meanwhile, Ophis simply stared at the towering cursed spirit with an amused expression, though he was still waiting for Kenshin's answer to her proposition earlier.
After waiting for long enough, Kenshin finally made his move. With one simple muster, he threw his forearm upwards, throwing the cursed spirit off balance.
He then ended it by grabbing its ankle and smashing it back down on the ground.
Boom!
Another smash!
Boom!
And another!
Boom!
More smashing, and smash and smash, smash, smash, and one last smash!
Eventually, Kenshin's methods were too cruel as the Cursed Spirit had turned into a mangled purple mess, leaving only the ankle he was grabbing on intact.
Ophis commented, "I've always wanted to do that with Baka-Red." unfazed by the gruesome sight in front of her.
Kenshin chuckled as he released his hold on the ankle, "Haha~ maybe someday you will smash her. or we will." before finally entering the temple.
Thanks to the large gaps in the walls serving as some sort of window without glass, there's barely any shadows inside as the sunlight seeps through the said gaps.
And of course, Kenshin's journey inside can't be one without any hurdles.
"He's over there! Get him!" This time, among the cultists, some were wearing pure white suits and black masks that covered their lower mouths with Katanas on their hands, probably the temple's guards.
"For Geto-sama!" They all yelled in unison as they rushed forward, their numbers were great, making them look like something that came out of a zombie apocalypse film.
Just as Kenshin was about to make his move by bulldozing his way forward with pure skills and combat techniques, a yawn sounded beside him.
It was Ophis with a bored expression, "This is getting boring." With a simple raise of a hand, Ophis flicked her wrist, and what happened next made Kenshin regret blinking.
In just the blink of an eye, the entire hallway was cleared, leaving only the countless shirts and clothes that the cultists were wearing.
Their physical bodies vanished in a flash. As if they were unborn in this world.
This scene made Kenshin's blood run cold and made him remember what kind of person is currently sitting on his shoulders.
This, of course, didn't just make him feel fear, but also excitement from the fact that Ophis is not only his little sister but she also considers him her brother.
"Hey, Ophis-chan. How about calling me Onii-chan from now on, yeah?" Kenshin grinned and side-eyed the little Dragon God.
She was silent for a few seconds before uttering the words with the familiar cold and indifferent tone, "Onii-chan?"
"Pfft!~" Blood trickled down from Kenshin's nose, which he wiped with his hand and recovered soon after, "Imouto!"
———
"…" Suguru Geto felt like he was having the second-worst day of his life, with the first one being when Amanai was killed right in front of him and he wasn't able to do anything to avenge her or at least recover her body.
Right now, he's staying at the security room, watching the ten monitors connected to various cameras placed all around the temple including the one inside.
When he saw how the little girl on his original target's shoulders stretched her hand and flicked her wrist which made several of those useless monkeys vanish in the blink of an eye, a chill went up his spine.
His first thoughts weren't ones of fear or running away. No. It's already too late for that anyway.
Instead, he was amazed. Such power, such capability to make hundreds of those monkeys vanish instantly, leaving their clothes and wearings made him excited.
If he has such power, to be able to make anyone and everyone vanish, then maybe his plan of removing all the useless monkeys in the entire world would finally be realized!
However, when he heard the conversation between Ophis and Kenshin, his face turned grim.
Kenshin's little sister!
No wonder the cursed spirits he sent to abduct his family died in an instant. Someone stronger than Kenshin himself was actually hiding in plain sight!
But still, he was quite a bit confused. Isn't Kenshin's little sister's name Kuroki Tomoko according to the reports he received using the Time Vessel Association's large resources?
If so, then why did Kenshin call this one Ophis instead?
Something doesn't add up and he doesn't like it one bit.
Before he knew it, he was already walking towards the door, intending to maybe persuade the little girl or take him away from Kenshin.
Someone like Kenshin doesn't deserve to have a sister with such powers.
———
"He's making his move," Kenshin muttered loud enough for Ophis to hear. He's been keeping watch over the Beast Tamer and only now did the man walk out of the security room where he's been holed up.
The next few seconds of tracking the man, he made an assumption that Suguru was on his way to a certain spacious room.
Heh, so he wants a clear space where we can fight it out. No problem, I like that, mentally grinned Kenshin.
"Hold on tight. We're on our way to Suguru Geto's fate station!" Grabbing on to both Ophis's tiny ankles, Kenshin crouched down before bursting into sonic booms.
BOOOM!!
———
Thankfully, this time, Suguru wasn't kept waiting for long before the wall in front of him exploded into rubble.
When the cloud of dust vanished, what was revealed was his previous target and the new one.
Suguru, with his eyes squinted and calm composure, spoke "Took you long enough. I thought you'd keep me hanging like you did back on the beach. I'm glad you're not someone who doesn't understand the suffering of others."
Hearing his words, Kenshin felt like those words were being referred to a certain someone.
A certain albino-haired Sorcerer.
"…Didn't know making you wait there is enough to make you suffer. What? Don't tell me even breathing for a minute also makes you bawl your eyes out?~" Kenshin teased, flashing a toothy grin in front of him.
Unbeknownst to him, in Geto's eyes, his grin overlapped with his memories of Satoru Gojo grinning without a care in the world.
Just because he's the strongest.
Not anymore, he muttered to himself as his eyes met with Ophis's lackluster eyes.
Closing his eyes for a second to regain his composure, he opened them back again and calmly pointed at Ophis, "I don't want to make this long for both of us. Hand her over."
Kenshin blinked several times, his mouth opening and closing at the same time. He was speechless.
Wait, I thought he wanted me? Since when did Ophis become involved? If Kenshin wasn't feeling the slight pain on his scalp due to Ophis's clutching too tightly on it, Kenshin would've thought he was in an illusion or something.
After all, he remembered there's a Curse Technique in this world that revolves around illusion and mind tricks.
Meanwhile, Ophis tilted her head in confusion and directly asked the clueless bag of meat in front of her, "What do you mean by that? Do I know you?"
"Of course you don't. But I do. You're strong. Very strong. What you did back in the hallway, I saw it. What kind of curse technique is it? Space-related technique? Or something more? Something that can manipulate the very existence of reality perhaps?"
Once he finished his words, both Kenshin and Ophis turned to look at each other with the former pointing his thumb at Suguru as if saying, 'Are you hearing this guy?'
Seeing the two silent and seeming to be conversing with each other through eye contact, Suguru clenched his fists. He felt like the pair of siblings was making a fool out of him.
"Fine. I was being too generous when I shouldn't have been. I'll just kill your brother and take you for myself." Suguru raised his hand and summoned a black swirling portal behind him whereas hundreds of deformed Cursed Spirits came crawling out.
Initially, he was preparing all of these cursed spirits for a grand plan in the future but right now, the said grand plan has changed and is now in front of him in the form of a little black-haired girl.
"Seriously, you're the second guy I've met who wants to touch a little girl. Is pedophilia infectious in this world or what?" Kenshin shook his head and sighed in defeat.
Kenshin then turned to Ophis and asked for permission, "Do you want me to handle this or do you want to make your move?"
"I lost interest in him. They don't look that much fun." Ophis shook her head and replied before yawning and casually falling asleep on top of his head, her tiny hands were now holding his ears.
Seeing this made Kenshin almost fail to resist the urge to pinch her chubby cheeks that is stained with the chocolate bar he gave her earlier.
Keyword 'almost'.
"Alright then. Been a while since I've killed this many Cursed Spirits. Hopefully, you'll also bring out your best ones." With a grin, a flash of light appeared in his hands and a cross-shaped long sword appeared.
The details on the handle were designed intricately, combined with bright color and the malicious aura surrounding its blade that made all of the Cursed Spirits in the vicinity flinch, which would almost make everyone think this is the Legendary Excalibur.
Too bad, this Holy Sword is better than Excalibur!
[ The Source of Holiness
- A Long sword in the shape of a cross. Wielding this sword would instantly evaporate all evil around the wielder. Possesses the unique soul of a deceased Archangel. Makes the wielder immediately immune to all debuffs and enhances the potency of their Holy Energy ten times. Enhances the user's stats twice and can charge Holy Energy to unleash a devastating attack depending on how much Holy Energy was charged.]
Why is this sword better than Excalibur, you might ask? Not because the sword itself is strong but because he, the wielder is the only one who can channel the sword's true potential.
With his nigh-infinite access to all sorts of energy including Holy Energy, it's not wrong to say that he can simply spam its devastating attacks indefinitely!
It wouldn't be a lie to say that with this sword, he can obliterate the entire Underworld by himself! Probably.
Though the only setback is the time for charging. Pumping a charge that could destroy an entire street would at least take 20 seconds to pump holy energy.
And in real battle, those 20 seconds are extremely crucial especially in a life-or-death situation.

[To make some things clear. This fic consists of JJK and DxD as the main worlds. As soon as those two stories' big bad villains are defeated, the fic will meet its end. No multiversal travel or anything. To overused at this point.]
