That afternoon Claudia finally had lunch with Frans at a cafe in the center of town. She was struck by how beautiful the cafe was, even though it was quite crowded. But she could understand it because the cafe was so beautiful and the service was good.
"How did you know it was this nice? I don't think there was a cafe like this here before," Claudia said.
Frans chuckled at her words. "This cafe has just opened. I didn't know about it before either. But the nurses talk about this place all the time. That's how I came to know about this cafe," he replied.
Claudia nodded in understanding, then savored her food that tasted so good. The two of them chatted with each other, and also talked about Joana, Frans' younger sister.
They even talked about the times when Claudia still went to school with Joana, Frans often picked them up.
"I feel very grateful that you want to take me home. I don't even know how to repay your kindness back then," she said.
