"Is anyone out here!" Ryn shouted aloud, looking around for any sign of life, but nothing was around—just endless sand and the scorching sun that felt hot enough to melt his body. "I need help," he shouted again, turning in every direction, but still there was nothing.
Ryn had expected that somehow, he would meet Draven again to guide him just like he had in the control room. This was his consciousness, yet it looked and felt too real.
His throat ached from thirst, and his body dripped with sweat. The heat was unbearable, yet he couldn't figure out where he was, how to find Soryuth, or how to get out of there.
"Hello," he groaned, rubbing his sweaty forehead. "Soryuth, if you are here, then please, I need your help," he begged, gripping his hair in frustration.
"My friends are in deep trouble, and you are the only person who can help them. I must destroy a creature; if I don't bond with you, they could all die!" he explained desperately.
