Mancini's POV
Patricia was lying beside me, her hair spread out across the pillow like a dark wave. The sheets were a mess, and some of them were wrapped around her body. I pushed away the sheet, leaving her naked, and ran a finger on her skin. She turned on her side to face me, a lazy smile tugging at her mouth. She pushed away my finger playfully and covered herself again. I poured and she laughed.
"Are you satisfied now?" she asked softly, her voice still rough from the night.
I looked at her for a moment before reaching for the cigarette pack on the nightstand. "You're asking that like I ever get tired of you," I said, lighting one.
She rolled her eyes and sat up, pulling the sheet around her chest. "You should. I'm tired of hiding in hotels. I'm tired of sneaking around. You should be tired of it too. Can you imagine it? You, you want to be a whole don and you can't do what you like?"
