Mancini's POV
I walked into the house with Patricia beside me. I just decided that I needed to bring her home after I explained what I wanted her to say to Marcus about Marie, so that I would spite the witch of a wife that I have. Patricia didn't like the idea, but I know deep down she wants to make her friend jealous. She was just perfect for my plans. The men at the door stepped aside when they saw me and said nothing.
Of course, the living room was empty when we came in. Marie was always in her room. She was a good dog and stayed in her room ever since she came to this house, unless I called her out.
One of the servants was passing with a fruit tray, and I called him.
"Go and go my wife," I said to him.
Patricia pouted beside me. "Are you still going to call her your wife?" She asked.
"It's okay, baby. I'll just call her name from today," I said.
She smiled widely and leaned in closer to me. We sat down with her head resting on my shoulder.
