Mancini's POV
I was sitting on the sofa in the living room when the doorbell rang.
I didn't need anyone to tell me who it was. I knew it was our expected visitors.
Lionel walked into the room just then. He bent toward my ear.
"They came alone," he whispered.
"I told you," I said to him. "He's no threat. He's just a little boy. You're the one who worries too much about security. But I like it. That's why I hired you."
"No, it's just to make sure. Dante is young but he has been doing all he can to make sure he saves his sister. People who are underestimated that much can turn around and do much harm. That's why I asked you if we could follow him from the house to here," Lionel said.
It was that morning that Lionel suggested that they send men to go to Roberto's house and monitor their movements and see if they would try to act funny to ambush us. I wasn't afraid and knew that they wouldn't try such a thing.
"Is Roberto with them?" I asked Lionel.
Lionel shook his head.
