"The Feast of the Divine Dragon is taking place this weekend. And its core place of celebration is at the Capital city. You should be aware of this," Queen Elizabeth stared at her son, a serious expression lingering over her face.
Elvis could tell something was bothering her.
"Yes. I'm aware. Is there any problem?"
"Well, the invitation has arrived for us," Queen Elizabeth hesitated. "And the Emperor has made a specific request to have the Crown Prince attend the event in representation of the kingdom."
Elvis hesitated. "Well, we have a Queen, and that's you. So why would he make that request?"
Queen Elizabeth smiled. "It's pretty obvious that he doesn't acknowledge me as a ruler because I'm a woman. But that isn't my concern, even though that's what he seems to want us to think..."
She hesitated as she said, "Even though he suggests having you there because he says you have the potential of a great king and all, I have a feeling that there's more to it."
