Gods of Destruction wake up extremely irritated. Though Beerus might sleep for extended periods, he despised being roused prematurely. When awakened against his will, drowsiness made his entire body feel sluggish and hot.
Beerus yawned extensively while remaining on his circular platform. Though his drowsiness hadn't completely subsided, his eyes cracked open halfway, cold light gleaming within. Suddenly, the entire palace's temperature plummeted sharply, making Raditz's hair stand on end throughout his body.
This was the supreme deity—ruler of the Seventh Universe alongside the Supreme Kai.
More importantly, the God of Destruction wielded absolute power!
Raditz knew Champa, had fought against him, and deeply understood a God of Destruction's terrifying might. Back then, Champa had merely been playing around without using his true abilities. But this situation was different—Beerus would show no mercy.
At this moment, Beerus had already fixed his gaze on Raditz! If Whis had awakened him, he'd simply lose his temper before returning to sleep. But he didn't recognize this intruder. How could outsiders freely enter the God of Destruction realm?
"Who are you? How dare you break in here and cause trouble!"
"Lord Beerus, I—"
Before Raditz could finish speaking, Beerus had already charged forward. The God of Destruction's fury shook the entire divine realm. Suspended hourglass bombs exploded in unison as billowing smoke filled the air. Beerus moved at tremendous speed despite wearing plain pajamas.
This was terrible! He intended to kill first and ask questions later. Raditz hastily entered Super Saiyan God state—red hair and crimson pupils blazing with divine radiance. The unique agility belonging only to gods erupted as space oscillated once more, two opposing forces creating distorted movement through their balanced clash.
The palace interior split into two sections divided by different-colored lights as storms raged between them.
"Hmm?" Beerus hesitated momentarily before opening his eyes completely, taking in Raditz's red-haired form.
He hadn't expected this intruder to also possess the divine realm with considerable power—even slightly overlapping with certain images from his dreams... Beerus suddenly grew interested as mental haze instantly dissipated, leaving his consciousness crystal clear.
Seeing Beerus's eyes snap fully open made Raditz increasingly nervous. His pupils contracted sharply as his mind achieved maximum focus. He stared at the approaching figure while positioning his hands defensively.
Suddenly, the rushing form vanished—Beerus had disappeared! He'd elevated his speed to another level entirely!
Beerus's velocity exceeded Raditz's visual limits. Within a single second, an energy-wrapped iron fist emerged from behind.
The punch's shadow stretched light into ribbons while distorting space itself.
But Raditz suddenly felt chilling danger and turned instinctively to block. At the critical moment, he intercepted Beerus's strike with both hands pressed together.
BOOM!
Receiving this attack sent Raditz flying backward violently, his body completely beyond control. He retreated under the bombardment of Beerus's punch force, smashing through numerous rock platforms and pillars before driving his feet into the ground like pilings, barely managing to stop. Yet vibrations continued through the air as if the punch's power hadn't fully dissipated.
"Incredibly strong!" Raditz's hands trembled, going momentarily numb.
But Beerus was the one truly surprised. As a God of Destruction standing at power's pinnacle, few beings could even survive his attacks—let alone force him to throw such a punch. How could it not be shocking that Raditz had received the blow at such an impossible angle?
Narrowing his eyes, Beerus struck again.
He spun and swiftly caught up to Raditz, fists and feet creating vast phantom arrays. Each attack traced psychedelic brilliance while draining surrounding atmosphere. The void cracked with net-like fissures, densely covered in winding fractures like a shattered mirror. The continuous energy bombardment moved faster than lightning.
Raditz barely managed to parry several assaults, but faced with relentless attacks, he steadily retreated before his defense finally cracked.
A devastating kick struck Raditz's face, launching him through the air as blood sprayed from his nostrils before immediately evaporating.
"So that's all you amount to," Beerus observed coldly with dismissive tone.
Was that all? No—there was more! Raditz suddenly clenched his teeth as his airborne body froze mid-flight. Every nerve in his frame tensed while muscles instantly swelled with power. He was a Super Saiyan God!
Pride and passion gathered energy as Raditz erupted under tremendous pressure. Sacred flames fluttered like a sword being forged in cosmic fire.
Behind him, seas of galaxies and brilliant radiance suddenly burst forth—Destroyer Nova in the divine realm, a supreme technique using his full strength!
Light and mist filled the air as massive energy fluctuations spread throughout the God of Destruction realm. Never before had such grand galactic expansion occurred. Raditz stood backed by an unprecedented starlight spectacle resembling dozens of intertwined galaxies stacked in incomparable magnificence.
"Destroyer Nova!"
All starlight rushed forth instantly, overwhelming Beerus completely.
"Interesting..." Beerus showed mild surprise at Raditz's counterattack, extending one hand to resist the enormous, terrifying energy mass. Using his palm as a boundary, he blocked Destroyer Nova's power from advancing and compressed it into a flat plane.
Knowing this wasn't sufficient, Raditz raised his other hand while condensing another dazzlingly bright energy sphere.
"Lord Beerus, forgive my rudeness! Nova Radiance!"
Immeasurably tremendous power combined with another force—two of Raditz's strongest techniques overlapped in their bombardment of Beerus. They fused with the universe's most gorgeous and brilliant radiance within the starlight before exploding like activated energy.
Beerus looked mildly taken aback, finding one-handed defense somewhat challenging. A ferocious gleam entered his eyes as his fingers produced clicking sounds while transmitting majestic power.
BOOM!
Stars and brilliance were reduced to debris under Beerus's strike. A few scattered residual lights flew about before turning to nothingness. The entire space continued sinking downward as if driven into an abyss by terrible weight. Only Beerus remained standing tall, looking down upon everything.
Raditz was repelled by Beerus's counterattack and struck the ground heavily, drenched in sweat. His full-power assault had been easily resolved while meeting violent retaliation. The strength gap was painfully evident.
"This kid..." Beerus regarded Raditz with traces of hesitation.
At that moment, Whis hummed a cheerful tune while approaching Beerus, preventing the battle's continuation. "Lord Beerus, please stop. I brought this Raditz to the God of Destruction realm."
"You brought him? Is he from the lower realm?" Beerus raised his eyebrows.
"Yes and no. He doesn't yet possess true godhead, but he's already an apprentice Supreme Kai."
"Supreme Kai?!" Like other deities who'd learned Raditz's identity, Beerus showed complete surprise with disbelief written across his features. After a moment's pause, the corners of Beerus's mouth lifted in a meaningful smile.
