Chapter 469 - 469: The Wish of an Angel

The red planet before them shimmered ominously—it was the final Super Dragon Ball.

Uchiha Chiga, who had already absorbed the previous six orbs, could feel this last one's location clearly. Because of that, Bulma didn't even need to build a Dragon Radar this time.

To Chiga, the planet's disguise was meaningless. A golden gleam flashed across his eyes, and with a single thought, the rocky layers concealing the Super Dragon Ball shattered apart, revealing its radiant, golden surface.

With a calm wave of his hand, the immense orb began to shrink, rapidly condensing until it was no larger than a regular Dragon Ball, then floated behind him to join the others.

As the seventh Dragon Ball aligned in place, the dragon-shaped tattoo carved into Chiga's chest glowed intensely. The phantom of the Eternal Dragon manifested behind him, roaring silently across the cosmos.

In that moment, Chiga had truly ascended—he had become the Dragon God.

Vados tilted her head curiously, her violet eyes shimmering with interest. She extended a slender finger and poked the dragon tattoo on Chiga's chest. To her surprise, the tattoo shifted slightly, as if alive, dodging her touch.

Chiga chuckled, gently taking her hand. "Now," he said with quiet confidence, "I am the true Dragon God. Would you like to make a wish? Any wish at all."

At this stage, there was almost nothing beyond his power. Short of harming the Grand Zeno himself, Chiga could grant nearly anything imaginable. If he desired, he could even erase all universes with a mere thought—or create entirely new ones.

Such was his divine authority: Creation and Destruction—the highest dominion of a god.

Vados blinked, her tone teasing. "Any wish… truly?"

"Of course," Chiga said with an easy smile. "Go ahead, tell me."

She smirked slyly. "Then… can I have you?"

"Uh—" Chiga's composure wavered.

Her lips curved into a mischievous grin. "What's wrong? Is this wish too difficult for our great Dragon God?"

He coughed lightly, pretending to regain his composure. "It's not difficult. You're just rather bold, little Angel. Setting your sights on me, are you?"

Vados leaned closer, her tone playfully wounded. "Bold? I worked for centuries collecting the Dragon Balls. In some places, that's called a dowry, you know. You accepted them—so you can't take it back now."

Chiga's expression stiffened. "Ah, so that's how it is? You could've said so earlier!"

Vados shot him a pouty glare, her cheeks faintly flushed. "Oh? If I'd said it before, would you have refused? Or do you just not like me that much?"

"How could I dislike you?" Chiga laughed softly. "Your wish is simple. This god will grant it… now."

With a snap of his fingers, a radiant burst of multicolored light enveloped them both and whisked them away from the mortal realm.

In a vast expanse of swirling colors and radiant light, Chiga brushed his fingers against Vados's cheek. "How about this place for our bridal chamber?" he murmured, his voice low and teasing.

They stood within his private divine realm—an isolated dimension untouched by time or sight. Not even the Grand Minister could pierce the veil of this sacred sanctuary.

Vados's lips curved in a soft, knowing smile. "Perfect," she whispered, her arms slipping gracefully around his neck.

Their foreheads touched, and for a heartbeat, the universe itself seemed to hold still. Then Chiga tilted his head and captured her lips in a deep, lingering kiss that spoke of centuries of restraint finally unbound.

The luminous aura around them pulsed gently, responding to the rhythm of their closeness. His hand trailed down her back, feeling the divine warmth of her skin through the fabric. Her breath hitched as the last thread of distance between them dissolved.

When the lights dimmed into a tranquil glow, the air shimmered faintly—two divine auras entwining, merging as one. The rest was silence, save for the gentle hum of creation echoing in their wake.

---

When they finally returned to Earth, Vados's younger sister, Marcarita, immediately stared at her suspiciously, eyes narrowing. She circled Vados like a hawk, studying her every movement.

Annoyed, Vados snapped, "Have you stared enough? Do I look any different to you?!"

Marcarita crossed her arms. "Actually, yes—you do seem different. So? Something happen between you and Chiga?"

Vados froze, then glanced nervously toward Lazuli's room before quickly covering Marcarita's mouth. "Don't talk nonsense! I just helped Chiga gather the Super Dragon Balls!"

That denial only fueled Marcarita's suspicion. "Ohhh, I see! So he's my Brother-in-law now, huh?"

Vados's face turned crimson. She clenched her fists, trembling with frustration. "Marcarita…"

Unfazed, Marcarita continued innocently, "You know, it doesn't take that long to travel between the Sixth and Seventh Universes. You two must've—"

"Marcarita!" Vados's voice was sharp enough to cut through dimensions. "Say another word, and I'll let Chiga deal with you!"

Marcarita raised her hands in surrender. "Alright, alright! No need to get violent! But—just one question."

Vados narrowed her eyes dangerously. "…What question?"

Marcarita's eyes gleamed with mischief. "Did Brother-in-law grab your high ponytail? He seems to have a thing for those."

A vein popped on Vados's temple. "Mar… ca… ri… ta!"

Steam might as well have erupted from her head as she glared at her sister.

"Starting today," Vados declared through clenched teeth, "you are banned from watching dramas for an entire week!"

Marcarita's jaw dropped. "Nani!? That's cruel! Give me one good reason!"

Vados jabbed a finger at her. "Look at the nonsense you've learned from them! For the next seven days, only the news!"

"No! Human news is so boring! I want to watch my dramas!"

Vados ignored her pleas, conjuring a small remote control in her hand. With a flick, she tucked it into her robes and turned away.

Marcarita's heart sank. She should have grabbed the remote first!

Her favorite show was about to air, and she could already feel the despair creeping in.

Just then, Chiga came downstairs, raising an eyebrow at her pacing. "Marcarita, what's wrong? Did your drama already end?"

She spun around instantly. "Chiga! Vados is bullying me—she took my remote!"

Marcarita flung herself dramatically at him, rubbing her head against his chest. Her twin ponytails brushed his chin, tickling him slightly. He placed a steadying hand on her shoulder.

"Calm down," Chiga said with a faint smile. "Tell me, what happened? Did you make her angry again?"

"I was just telling the truth! She's the one being petty!"

At that moment, Vados appeared at the bottom of the stairs, arms crossed and expression unreadable. "Don't listen to her, Chiga! You don't know what she said earlier!"

"Oh?" Chiga asked, intrigued. "What did she say?"

Vados froze, her hand instinctively touching her ponytail. Then, without answering, she turned on her heel and fled upstairs, leaving Chiga standing there, utterly bewildered.
