Chapter 463 - 463: The Angels’ Stirring Curiosity

Amid Whis's puzzled expression, Marcarita turned into a streak of divine light, vanishing swiftly toward Earth.

By the time Whis blinked, he was left alone in the vast, empty void—no planets, no stars, just silence.

He sighed, glancing down at his staff.

"So, one Angel goes off to date, and the other rushes off to watch the show? Wonderful," he muttered dryly.

Was it really fine for the Sixth and Eleventh Universes to be left without their Angels? Did they not fear the Grand Minister's scrutiny?

Shaking his head helplessly, Whis decided it was best not to meddle in others' affairs. Watching over his own God of Destruction—and perhaps enjoying a good meal—sounded far safer.

"Ah," he murmured with a faint smirk, "an Angel as responsible and devoted as me is truly one of a kind."

Earth — Capsule Corporation

Back on Earth, the moment Vados and Uchiha Chiga reappeared, Bulma and Lazuli rushed over excitedly.

Lazuli immediately examined Chiga from head to toe, her sharp blue eyes scanning him for any sign of injury. Only after confirming he was unscathed did she let out a small sigh of relief.

Bulma, however, clenched her fists with a grin.

"Chiga! Did you handle that arrogant woman? I knew it—you're the strongest!"

Chiga smiled faintly and nodded.

"She should've calmed down by now. I doubt she'll cause any more trouble."

Before he could continue, a familiar voice rang out behind him—sharp and indignant.

"Talking about me behind my back again! Who are you calling trouble?"

Everyone turned to see Marcarita standing there, hands on her hips, twin tails fluttering as her face puffed with annoyance.

Chiga raised a brow.

"How did you end up here? Don't you have your own Universe to manage?"

Marcarita huffed, pointing accusingly at Vados.

"If Vados can come, why can't I? She's not an Angel of this Universe either!"

"I invited Vados," Chiga replied flatly. "You came uninvited. Try showing a little self-awareness."

Marcarita's cheeks puffed even more.

"I don't care! I can visit any Universe I like! I'm staying here, and that's final!"

Crossing her arms defiantly, she stood her ground, daring him to challenge her.

Chiga cracked his knuckles and stepped forward, his calm gaze making her flinch slightly.

"Chiga," Vados said softly, holding him back. "She's always been like this. Don't mind her. As long as she doesn't cause trouble, let her do as she wishes."

Marcarita stuck out her tongue.

"I won't cause trouble! I'm just here to watch the show!"

Chiga frowned immediately.

"What show are you talking about? Didn't I tell you to stop watching that nonsense?"

Marcarita grinned mischievously.

"Oh, but this time's special! The stars of the show are one of a kind across all twelve Universes! I can't miss it!"

Her gaze darted playfully between Vados and Chiga. Vados' face flushed as she quickly looked away, stealing a nervous glance at Lazuli.

"What nonsense are you spouting, Marcarita? Keep this up, and I'll have Chiga escort you off Earth personally."

That got her attention. Facing Vados and Chiga together wasn't something she wanted. Even an Angel had her limits—and without calling the Grand Minister, she knew she couldn't take both.

Deflated, Marcarita pouted and folded her wings quietly, resigning herself to silence.

Chiga stretched lazily and said,

"Alright, let's head home. That little exercise was refreshing."

Everyone's attention flicked to Marcarita's slightly torn Angelic attire. Flustered, she tugged the hem of her skirt and, with a thought, restored it to its original pristine form.

Her attempt at composure only made it worse—everyone's lips twitched, struggling to hide their amusement.

Feeling the sting of embarrassment, Marcarita's expression crumbled, and her voice softened like a child on the verge of tears.

Vados sighed, her heart melting. She stepped forward and pulled her younger sister into a gentle embrace.

"What's wrong? You were fine just a moment ago."

Marcarita sniffled and hugged her back tightly.

"Sister! They bullied me! Especially Chiga! I couldn't even beat him—it's so frustrating!"

Vados chuckled softly.

"You're an Angel. Who could possibly bully you? You just overdid it again. Stay on Earth for a few days, then return. Your God of Destruction hasn't entered slumber yet, remember?"

"Hmph! I'll stay for a few more days! Belmod knows where I am, and he's being good. There shouldn't be any issues!"

"Fine," Vados said with a gentle smile. "But no trouble, alright?"

"Got it!" Marcarita chirped. "It's just so boring back home. I'm definitely staying a while this time!"

Grand Zeno's Palace

At the heart of the Omniverse, within the Grand Palace, the Grand Minister stood silently before the gate, hands folded neatly behind his back. His gaze turned toward the Seventh Universe, a faint crease forming on his usually serene face.

"A powerful battle has taken place there," he murmured. "This Ki... belongs to Marcarita. But the other... unfamiliar. Strange."

He raised a hand, summoning a staff similar to those wielded by the Angels—except its orb glowed a deep, obsidian black.

A flicker of divine energy coursed through it, and the crystal sphere revealed echoes of Marcarita's earlier clash. Yet, the image of her opponent was veiled in a shimmering mist, his face completely obscured.

The Grand Minister's frown deepened. His staff was far superior to those of the other Angels—nothing within the Universes should have been able to conceal itself from his sight.

"This... is the first time I've seen something like this," he whispered.

He caught sight of Vados in the vision as well, which only deepened his intrigue.

For such a small Universe to draw not one, but two Angels from others—and harbor an unknown power strong enough to baffle his staff—was most unusual.

Lowering the staff slightly, he mused,

"Vados didn't seem intent on aiding Marcarita. Was this simply a spar? And Whis appeared later... What connection do they have with that mysterious ki?"

He turned the staff once more, tracing the locations of the Angels. Whis remained dutifully by his God of Destruction, while Vados and Marcarita lingered on Earth.

That meant only one thing: the mysterious warrior was also there.

After a moment's contemplation, the Grand Minister brought the staff closer and spoke softly, his voice echoing through the void,

"Whis, can you hear me? This is the Grand Minister. Come at once—I have matters to discuss with you."
