"Fvck it!!!!!" Donia shouted in her room as she cannot believe that Kyler agreed on marrying her after all she did in the last two years.
Mirae smiled .
"Why would you let the Jung get back to our family?! Did you know how much humiliation I have to endure just because I was expelled!" Donia shouted at her father as Mr. Shin sighed.
"You don't get it, The Jung are also in the top richest family. You don't get to act like that Donia. Whatever happens in the past stays in the past." He said.
"Why Kyler of all the people?" She asked as Mr. Shin sighed. "He's the only fit for you. Anyways we will be having dinner by tomorrow in the Jung's resident. Prepare yourself and don't embarrass the Shin anymore." He said as he left Donia's room.
In the J corporation Elian was busy with some papersworks when Nam Li went inside to tell him the news.
"The Shin will be having dinner soon for a formal family meet up." He said as Elian sighed. "Do I look like I care about the Shin?" He asked Nam Li as he cleared he's throat.
"I know sir but the chairman wants you to be present during this family dinner. I think the Shin would want a proper apologies about what happened in the past for us to start all over again." Nam Li added.
"Didn't father know that the Shin situation right now is at sh*t?" Elian asked as Nam Li smirked.
"Only us knew about it sir. The chairman will be so mad about this." He said as Elian smiled and look at his phone.
'Hmm Mirae didn't even tried to ask for my help. This girl is testing my patience.' he thought as Mirae on the other side is moving into a cheap apartment as she tried to live her life normally without Kyler anymore.
'My hearts aching...' she whispered.
"Mirae, I'm sorry about this I just retired from my job in the states." Her father on the back said as Mirae was out of words. She cannot even say a single word to her own father.
Her father went out to go have a job but she knew deeply that he was just there for his second family since her second family is throwing him up and now he's back in Mirae's life.
"It's fine." She answered plainly. She never received any money from her father when he went to states. She provided for herself and now he's back again.
"You shouldn't have break up with Kyler, He brings money to the family." Her father whisper.
"What?" She asked as her father sigh. "What I am just saying -"
"Did you asked Kyler for money?!" She asked as her father smiled. "Well a million dollar is not that much for a rich person like him so you -"
"A million dollar is too much for him since he don't even have that job and privilege to own one!" She shouted.
"Mirae, Mind your tone I am your father." He said as Mirae walked away and starts calling Kyler's number but he's not picking up.
"Fvck..." She said when she pause when She saw Elian's number and sigh as she starts ringing Elian as she sat on the corner of the apartment.
'This is Elian, How may I help you?' he asked on the other line.
"Hey, I didn't mean to disturb you but can you help me meet with Kyler. I really need to talk to him." She says as Elian smirked on the other side as he loosen his necktie.
He just got inside the car and was so tired but still bad time to answers Mirae's call.
Nam Li just stared at him in the rear view mirror.
"What is it for me?" He asked on the other side.
"Do what you want to do with me I'll do everything!" She said as it starts pouring hard.
"Where are you?" Elian asked in a cold voice as Mirae walks in the road without even hearing Elian.
"Why would I even bother..." She whispered as Mirae sighed as the pouring rain blurs her vision from the surrounding as she didn't even notice that she's already walking through the streets where vehicle starts horning because of traffic that she is causing.
Little did she know on how small their world is, Elian's car is just 2 cars away from her.
"Nam Li, What's wrong? Why aren't we moving?" He asked as the call from Mirae got cut off.
"There's a commotion in the street sir, I think it's a girl -" Nam Li wa stunned when Elian grabbed the umbrella and went outside to see who it was.
"Sir!" Nam Li called as being exposed to the crown is not something that the Jung should do as paparazzi are all around taking information about them.
Elian walked towards the girl in the street. She was just sitting and not doing anything causing commotion.
"If you want to die go kill yourself and don't let us get involved about it! I almost hit you!" A guy shouted as Elian stared at Mirae on the ground.
"That's enough ready old man." Elian said coldly as the old man glared at him.
"Who are younto talk to me like that?!" He asked as he stopped when he saw Elian's face.
The pouring rain was and the car morning are the only sound Mirae can hear.
"Do you wish to go home?" Elian asked as he offered his hand. Mirae looked up and saw Elian's face.
In the Shin's mansion Donia was locked up in her room on further noticed after trying to escape the mansion without her father's permission.
"You will be locked up there until you tell uncle that you regret for not following him." His cousin Nanie Shin said on the other side of the door.
"What do you even know Nanie?" She asked her.
"Have you ever met the Jung for you to say that I should just follow what my father wanted?" Donia asked as she sat down next to the door.
"That day when I get expelled I get to meet the most handsome guy." She started. "I really like him, No I loved him but I didn't even get to know his name." She said.
"And what about him?" Nanie asked on the other side.
"My heart beats for him! I love him! He's the one I should get married to!" She said as she starts crying.
"That Kyler had nothing else to do but to be with Mirae. He's always into her and didn't even notice my presence. That fvcked doesn't give a fvck about my existence!" She hissed as she remembers that day all over again.
When Mirae pass out Nam Li already went inside to tell Donia that she is expelled from the University. The Shin will no longer be with the Jung's.
Donia's father was so mad that day and slapped Donia in the school ground for bringing shame to their families name.
Donia was left behind when a helping hand approach her with a smile in his face.
"Hey, Use this." He said as he gave her his handkerchief.
"A girl shouldn't cry like this alone." He added as Donia was stunned by his beauty. Elian saw Nam Li coming as he smiled at Donia.
"I should leave now, Have a nice day." He said as he left his handkerchief on Donia.
In the present time Donia took good care of the handkerchief as she starts smiling.
"I badly wanna see him again." She said as Nansie on the other side sighed.
"Didn't you say he's a bit older than you?" She asked as She smiled sadly.
"Yeah but age doesn't even matter if that guy will be my husband. He smells like old money." She said as she stared at the handkerchief.
"EJ, When will I ever meet you up again?" She asked as she smelled the handkerchief on her hand.
"But isn't this great cousin? You wanted Mirae to pay for what she did to our family. Your taking Kyler, the love of her life with you. Isn't that enough?" She asked as Donia smirked.
"That's right, I bet Mirae Kim looked so horrible right now." She laughed.
In the cold pouring rain, The Ajussi in front of Mirae had her sheltered from his umbrella.
'Why is this Ajussi doing here?' she asked herself as Elian smiled at her.
"Your quiet interesting aren't you?" He said as he's smile made Mirae look away.
"Your causing a scene and makes everyone mad. Shall we-"
"I was the reason why Kyler broke up with me." She cried her heart out as Elian just looked at Mirae.
"He might have thought that I was just using him for money that I didn't even want him as a man! What should I do Ajussi? My heartaches yet it's calling for his name." She almost whispered as Elian leveled her height and touched her face as he wiped her tears.
"You want to talk to Kyler right?" He asked as Mirae nodded.
"Then I want you to be my wife." He said as Mirae stopped crying and stared at how Elian was serious.
'I need a wife to bragged off on that family dinner.' Elian thought.
'I need to talk to Kyler to say my apologies properly.' Mirae thought as she looked at Elian.
