"What is it? Sabastian asked.
"I have just received information from one of our people in the air force. Apparently, the private jet Francis and Viktor are flying on has an unidentified object approaching it at hypersonic speed, and the air force has launched missiles to intercept it." The assistant replied hesitantly.
"What? Only missiles are capable of flying at hypersonic speed; is this the masked individuals doing? Just who did that pair of idiots piss off?" Sabastian said with shock before he slumped back in his chair.
…
"Status report." The officer at the military radar station ordered.
"Honestly, sir, I am at a loss." The radar controller replied.
"Explain." The officer ordered with a frown.
"Well, sir, the unidentified object reached the chartered aircraft as predicted; however, we are still receiving signals from both parties indicating there was no impact."
"That's good, it means it either missed the target or was never targeting the chartered aircraft in the first place." The officer said.
"Yes, sir, however, what doesn't add up is that the unidentified object actually slowed down and matched the chartered aircraft's air velocity for approximately two minutes before our missile arrived on scene. I'm honestly starting to doubt that the unidentified object is a missile."
"Nothing else is capable of hypersonic flight except a missile airman." The officer retorted.
"I am aware of that, sir; however, the unidentified object resumed hypersonic flight as the missile was about to intercept it, and they are now both heading away from the plane at Mach five." The radar operator replied before asking. "How does a missile slow down and fly next to a plane for approximately two minutes before speeding up again as soon as an opposing missile approaches?" The radar operator asked.
The officer had no answer to this and instead pulled out his phone to contact his own superior while ordering," Keep monitoring."

"Shit, this is not easy." Adam cursed as he flew at hypersonic speed with his back to the ground while firing his blaster at the missile that was following him.
[SciFifanboy (Earth): Dude, this is so SciFi.]
[Superhearofangirl (Earth): This would be awesome in an action movie, and here the streamer is doing it for real.]
[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Yeah, but his shots keep missing.]
[Prestigious3horns (Vinox 2): That may be so, but what he is doing is far from easy.]
[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): Agreed, anti-gravity armour fights of this speed are already rare to begin with, as most of the time they limit their speed for better control and manoeuvrability. I have never heard of anyone being in this sort of situation before.]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Normally, when someone is fighting in anti-gravity armour, they are against another individual, the streamer, however, is against a missile, which is a much smaller target, since the missile is following him, it means he can only aim for the head of the the missile not the body.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): That may be so, but look at his blaster's energy meter on his HUD when the camera switches to 1st person perspective, if he doesn't hit the missile in his next few shots, his blaster is going to run out of energy.]

"Fuck." Adam cursed as his shots missed and the blaster's energy meter on his HUD suddenly flashed red, showing that he was out of energy.
[AlamoMatador4thewin (Earth): He ran out of energy, now what?]
[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): Normally, it would be a simple matter of changing his blaster's energy cell; however, the unusual design of the blaster makes it appear that that's not possible.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): So, what? Is it like a disposable gun? You use up your ammo, then toss the thing? That's kinda stupid.]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): No one's stupid enough to waste credits on something like that, surely?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): I doubt it's that simple. Considering the level of tech the streamer has shown before, I think there is something we are missing.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Such as?]
As the chat was discussing the top, they noticed that the energy meter on Adam's HUD had stopped flashing red and had actually gained some energy.
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): …. Such as a self-recharging blaster.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Impossible, such a thing doesn't exist.]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Normally, I would agree with you; however, we just saw it happen.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): He's right, it happened exactly like the Warhawk Mk 3 self-recharging assault rifle.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): The what? Tell me, tell me.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): The Warhawk Mk 3 self-recharging assault rifle is the standard issue assault rifle supplied to the Terran military. Like what you just saw with the streamers blaster, it has the ability to self-recharge if given time.]
[Gunlovergirl (Earth): I want one, I want one.]
[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): Becz!]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Oh, please, it's not like it's a military secret or anything, we have been using it for many years now. Tongue sticking out emoji.]
[Superior4horns (Vinox 3): Even so, that's still going to severely limit the number of shots the streamer can fire now that he has to wait for a recharge cycle before he can fire again.]
[Whostolemyduck (Earth): He's either going to have to wait till the missile runs out of fuel or come up with another plan.]
Adam was racking his brain about what he could possibly do when he suddenly remembered a scene he had seen in a movie about fighter jets.
"This is a really bad idea."
[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Looks like he has a plan.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): This should be interesting.]
[Superhearofangirl (Earth): You got this streamer.]
And took a few seconds to calm himself and let his blaster recharge enough energy for his plan before he made his move.
Suddenly, he cut his hypersonic flight as he slammed on the brakes, so to speak, with his anti-gravity drive while also having it move him quickly sideways.
The missile that was still flying at Mach 5 quickly caught up to him as it tried to turn and follow him; however, because it was not able to turn sharply at high speeds, the missile ended up flying right by.
As it did so, Adam rotated the blaster's cylinder to section 4 before he aimed at the missile and pulled the trigger.
The red beam of light shot out and hit the side of the missile as it passed him before the missile vanished and disintegrated into nothing but little dust particles.

"Can't believe that worked, hehe," Adam said with a chuckle before he turned back the way he came and engaged the hypersonic flight again.
[Noobkiller9000 (Earth): Neither can we.]
[StealthAssassin9 (Earth): Whoa there, Maverick.]
[Handsome3horns (Vinox 2): What the hell was that?]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): Although I'm having a hard time believing it he seems to have purposefully slowed down to allow the missile to catch up while moving sideways so the missile would fly right past him since it couldn't turn quickly at that speed before he fired his disintegration shot.]
[DeverinianLordMalacoss (Deverinian 9): Fuck, his blaster really can use the disintegration shot.]
[Solarianpride11 (Solarian 4): …]
"Spector recalculated the intercept course. Let's finish this before any more uninvited guests arrive."
[Calculating, data sent to you, HUD.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): I'm sorry, but I'm having trouble believing what I just saw. Is that even possible?]
[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): Apparently it is.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Could we attempt that in the future if we get a missile shot at us?]
[Tessisdabest (Imperial Down): No.]
[Beinglittleisnotadisadvantage (Strathorp 7): I would highly suggest you forget that idea. The missiles used by our races, as well as pirates, include Repulsor missiles that launch dozens of smaller missiles, which are more manoeuvrable than the one we just saw.]
[Beczontop (Imperial Down): Oh yeah. sad face emoji]
…
"Sir, tracking of our intercept missile has been lost." The radar operator suddenly said.
"You mean it destroyed the target." The officer said with a smile.
"No, sir, I am still tracking the unidentified target, I mean, the intercept missile has disappeared. The unidentified target's speed suddenly stopped allowing the intercept missile to catch up, but just as radar showed them on top of each other, the intercept missile disappeared from my screen."
"What! What about the target?" The officer asked in shock.
"The unidentified object is now heading back the way it came, and predictions indicate it is once again on an intercept course with the chartered aircraft."
"What the fuck is going on?" The officer cursed as he pulled out his phone to report.
