Aoki and the others returned to the bus and continued towards their destination.
Osaka Bay. This was Ferid Bathory's destination, currently the largest gathering of vampires, a fact unknown to Aoki and his companions.
Upon entering Osaka Bay, Crowley Eusford, who had been driving smoothly, suddenly slammed on the brakes. The sudden deceleration sent the standing Ferid Bathory flying through the window.
Aoki and the others weren't unscathed; each of them made a rather intimate acquaintance with the seat in front of them.
However, their experience paled in comparison to Ferid Bathory's. After being ejected, Ferid Bathory lay on the ground like a corpse, but he wasn't dead. He opened his eyes and looked at the sky.
"Even today's sky is boringly beautiful," he commented.
He sat up, looking at Crowley Eusford still in the driver's seat. "I say, why the sudden braking? It was dangerous, you know."
"A rather impressive welcome, wouldn't you say?" Crowley Eusford said with a strained smile.
Ferid Bathory laughed. Aoki and the others got off the bus, surveying their unfamiliar surroundings with tense expressions, except for the seemingly oblivious Yūichirō Hyakuya.
"Where are we?" Yūichirō Hyakuya asked Ferid Bathory. "Hey, Ferid Bathory, you should explain. Where are we?"
"Osaka Bay, Yūichirō Hyakuya," Ferid Bathory replied with a smile.
A childish voice echoed from the distance.
"Ferid Bathory, why aren't you here to greet us?!"
Hundreds of vampires appeared, two figures standing prominently at the front.
One was a boy with two braids, his hair half red and half white (left red, right white), wearing a top hat.
The other was a mature, dark-skinned man with handsome features and a serious expression.
"Ding!"

"Ding!"
Urd Geales:
Identity: Second Progenitor
Personality: Mature, composed, serious

Combat Power: 24582

The information flooded Aoki's mind, causing his expression to drastically change.
He was incredibly tense.
At his current strength, he couldn't withstand even one attack from either vampire.
The second progenitor's combat power alone surpassed Krul Tepes's by a significant margin. Aoki, who couldn't defeat Krul Tepes, would be utterly annihilated.
He prepared to use Flying Raijin and Summoning Jutsu to escape if necessary.
"What? So many vampires? You set us up!" Yūichirō Hyakuya glared at Ferid Bathory.
Ferid Bathory cut him off. "Silence. One mistake, and even I'll be killed instantly."
He approached the vampires, bowing humbly. "Esteemed progenitors, Ferid Bathory has been awaiting your arrival. The journey from Russia was long; I hope it wasn't too tedious."
Suddenly, Lest Karr lunged forward, piercing Ferid Bathory's chest. With a look of surprise, Lest Karr pulled out a still-beating heart.
Yūichirō Hyakuya moved to draw his sword, but Aoki and Crowley Eusford stopped him.
"Hold it. This is his game," Crowley Eusford warned.
Ferid Bathory knelt, as Lest Karr looked down mockingly. "Look, Ferid Bathory, your heart. Your blood is draining. In minutes, you'll become a demon."
Ferid Bathory managed a strained laugh. "You jest, Lord Lest Karr. Why do you do this?"
"Tell me. Where is Krul Tepes?"
"At my mansion."
"Where's the mansion?"
"Nearby."
"How did you capture her? You're only the seventh progenitor. Your actions are too slow; you shouldn't be able to subdue Krul Tepes, who is a third progenitor like yourself."
Ferid Bathory couldn't speak, demonic markings appearing on his face.
Urd Geales quickly intervened. "Return the heart, Lest Karr. He's turning into a demon."
Urd Geales's reluctance stemmed from a long-standing conflict. While both progenitors, Ferid Bathory was not of his lineage, but from another second progenitor's line.
They had been secretly vying for power for centuries.
Lest Karr reluctantly returned the heart.
Ferid Bathory immediately bit Shihō Kimizuki's neck, greedily drinking his blood.
Yūichirō Hyakuya tried to intervene, but Aoki and Crowley Eusford stopped him. Facing two beings capable of instantly killing them, saving their lives was far more important than some replaceable blood.
After drinking his fill, Ferid Bathory released Shihō Kimizuki. "That was close; I almost drained him dry. But it's not enough. I need another drink. Who wants to offer their blood?"
He looked at Aoki and the others. He craved Aoki's blood, wanting to taste the blood of such a powerful human.
With only vampires present, any resistance from Aoki would result in an attack, leaving his survival to chance.
