**Chapter 333: The Deep's Heavy Taste**
"I never loved you, not from the beginning, never. We all hate you, wishing you'd die sooner. It's a pity Russia couldn't kill you, otherwise, we would have won."
Hearing these words, Soldier Boy's complexion darkened. He became expressionless, his tone icy. "The fact proves that without me, Payback is just trash, trash that history has discarded."
"I don't regret it."
*Bang!* Soldier Boy swung his Shield down viciously! In an instant, Crimson Countess's skull immediately caved in on the spot, the splattered blood landing on Soldier Boy's face, still warm.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!!* The expressionless Soldier Boy, like a machine, repeatedly performed the smashing motion, one strike, two strikes, three strikes... It wasn't until Crimson Countess's upper body became a puddle of pulped flesh that he finally took a moment to wipe the fresh blood from his face.
"Ugh!" Hughie, who had come to check the situation, turned pale upon seeing this scene and immediately threw up his breakfast.
Actually, Soldier Boy had killed Crimson Countess with the very first strike, but he didn't stop there. Instead, he continued to vent the anger in his heart until it was completely released.
"Leave this scene for Mother's Milk to handle. I'll take you to find the TNT Twins." Billy, who was following behind Hughie, turned to Mother's Milk after glancing at the corpse on the ground.
"I can't wait any longer." Soldier Boy let out an incredibly horrifying smile, revealing two rows of pearly white teeth, like a ferocious beast choosing its prey. He carried the Shield, which was still dripping with pulped flesh and fresh blood, and walked out of the Tunnel with Billy. All the way, blood kept dripping from his Shield.
Ryan, who had finished watching the surveillance footage, followed silently behind them, not saying a word.
...
Vermont, inside a secluded Villa, a large house party was being held.
"That's right, it's still me." Xia Shang stood on a Lawn not far from the Villa. While observing the situation inside the Villa through the wall, he picked up his mobile phone and smiled. "Don't blame everything on me. Maybe that last news report was leaked by someone inside your own organization."
"Bullshit! You didn't just tell our company about that last news report."
Listening to the voice coming from the other end of the phone, Xia Shang's eyes narrowed slightly, his smile fading. "If you dare to speak to me in that tone again, I guarantee I'll twist your head off and hang it on the United States flag outside the White House. If you don't believe me, try it. Out of humanitarianism, I'll let you die in great pain."
"..."
The other end of the phone was silent for about ten seconds.
"Alright, Mr., I was out of line just now. May I ask what this phone call is about?"
"You should have a branch in Vermont, right?"
"Of course, we are spread across all parts of the United States. As long as there's major news, we can get it immediately."
"Very good." Xia Shang nodded in satisfaction.
"Listen, there's big news you want in Cran... this place in Vermont. But time is urgent, so I hope you can seize the opportunity. A hint: it's related to Superheroes. If you're lucky enough, you might even see Soldier Boy, Ryan, Homelander, and the others."
"Mr., we are willing to offer..." The newspaper boss on the other end of the phone immediately became excited upon hearing the names of Soldier Boy and the others. Just as he was about to pay a high price to monopolize the information, the phone emitted a series of beeps, indicating the call had been hung up.
"Damn it!"
The newspaper boss's complexion turned dark, and he threw his mobile phone away. But immediately reacting, he looked at the landline phone on the desk.
"Emergency situation! Get all your reporters out there! You must get to the scene as fast as possible! We absolutely have to get the scoop this time, or you're all dead!"
Situations like this didn't just occur at one newspaper or news headquarters. Almost instantly, Xia Shang had mobilized all the reporters. Putting down his mobile phone, Xia Shang walked towards the villa's main door.
He snapped his fingers, switching to Frenchie's appearance, then reached out and pressed the doorbell.
A fleshy, long snake emerged from the crack in the door. Following closely behind, a burly man with a scruffy beard pulled up his pants while opening the room door.
"Do you have an invitation letter? No entry without an invitation letter."
The burly man sized up Xia Shang and then asked.
"Invitation letter? Sorry, could I see yours? I think I brought the wrong one." Xia Shang said with a smile.
"You can bring the wrong one?" The burly man suspiciously pulled out an invitation letter and handed it to Xia Shang.
Xia Shang took it, glanced at it, and then pulled out an identical invitation letter from his chest.
"No problem, come in." The burly man stepped aside, allowing Xia Shang to enter the Villa.
The scene inside was difficult to describe, like a mating scene in a savage society, and a foul smell permeated the air. Xia Shang subconsciously sealed off his sense of smell, then found a random clean spot to sit down.
"Hey buddy, want some?" A man nearby, who was puffing away, offered Xia Shang a "special" cigarette.
"You guys enjoy yourselves."
Xia Shang politely refused.
"Alone?" At this moment, a woman with a hot figure, upon seeing Xia Shang's appearance, immediately lit up.
"I'm waiting for someone, not interested." Xia Shang shook his head.
"Alright, have fun. If you need anything, feel free to call me."
The woman walked away somewhat disappointed.
Three minutes later, Xia Shang repeated the same words again. This made him wonder if transforming into Frenchie was a mistake; this guy seemed too popular with women.
"The Deep."
Xia Shang unintentionally spotted an acquaintance. However, everyone else was either attending the party with their female companions or, like him, came alone.
The Deep truly lived up to his reputation as an oddball; he actually brought an octopus to the house party. What a character.
Under Xia Shang's gaze, The Deep took the octopus into a room with an aquarium. It seemed that was his exclusive room.
"Oh baby, don't be nervous, no one will see us. Let's just enjoy ourselves." The Deep stroked the octopus as if caressing a lover.
The subsequent sight made Xia Shang involuntarily avert his gaze. While his taste wasn't light, it wasn't to this ridiculous extent.
Meanwhile.
A figure wearing a cape resembling the United States flag was flying towards Vermont at a supersonic speed.
"I definitely can't deal with the Mysterious Person alone. Last time, Stormfront and I teamed up and still couldn't kill him. And now Stormfront is dead. I must find a new ally."
