Chapter 129 - Chapter One Hundred and Twenty-Nine: Tormented Agony

Xiao Feng was slammed mercilessly against the wall by the Duke of the Evil Dragon. Having endured two brutal blows, his body was battered and weak, powerless to resist the duke's choking grasp.

A swirling orb of energy materialized in the duke's right hand, its velocity accelerating relentlessly as it neared Xiao Feng's chest. "Boy, I won't grant you an easy death. Watch closely as I transform you into a beautiful skeleton. With such a well-formed physique, your bones will surely fetch a high price! Ha… ha…"

The vortex drew ever closer, tearing through Xiao Feng's clothing to expose his taut muscles. As it approached within a mere centimeter, the changes upon his chest became unmistakably vivid.

The duke's tattooed face twisted into a cruel sneer. "Don't you dare blink, Xiao Feng. A shocking spectacle is about to unfold…"

With a sinister glint, the swirling energy began to rip through Xiao Feng's skin, gradually stripping away muscle and blood in a crimson whirlwind that hovered before him.

Xiao Feng howled in agony, "Ahhh…"

From the sidelines, Old White shouted furiously, "You son of a—let go of Xiao Feng! If you have the guts, come at me instead… Release my boy!"

The duke glanced back at Old White with a wicked smile. "Be patient; soon, you'll experience this pain firsthand…"

Turning his gaze back to Xiao Feng's chest, the duke's expression shifted to one of astonishment. Despite the vortex's relentless tearing, Xiao Feng's muscles were regenerating at a remarkable pace.

"You actually possess three different powers, brat. I must admit, you surprise me…" The duke's voice was heavy with disbelief. It was extraordinarily rare for one to harbor three distinct abilities simultaneously, even if none were of the highest caliber.

Spurred by the torment, Xiao Feng gathered his strength and kicked the duke, forcing him to stagger back three steps. The duke's brow furrowed deeply. The energy orb in his hand smashed into Xiao Feng, hurling him against the wall with a loud impact. Soon after, a second and third orb struck him in rapid succession.

Pressed against the wall, Xiao Feng had no means to evade the relentless onslaught. The wall behind him began to crack under the repeated blows.

Raith, Old White, and Brada were all horrified by the scene. Brada, the frail and timid one, even broke down into tears, his face streaked with a mixture of blood and tears.

Yet, it was Xiao Feng's indomitable vitality that left the duke stunned. Despite unleashing dozens of energy strikes, he failed to fell Xiao Feng. Enraged, the duke ceased his assault and snatched an automatic rifle from a nearby cultist.

Turning toward Xiao Feng, he bellowed, "Damn it, I refuse to believe I can't kill you…"

The staccato roar of gunfire echoed throughout the vast chamber. Raith and Old White stood dumbfounded, as did the other cultists, watching bullets pierce Xiao Feng's body, each shot spraying a crimson fountain. Yet, Xiao Feng's gaze remained cold and unwavering; he did not fall.

After the magazine emptied, Xiao Feng stood firm, his wounds rapidly knitting as he forced the bullets from his flesh.

The duke discarded the rifle in a fit of madness. He had not expected to exert so much effort without killing Xiao Feng. Grabbing Xiao Feng's black alloy battle blade, he advanced with fury. "Damn it! I thought you were just meat. Let's see if you live or die now…"

Raising the blade high, the duke prepared to strike.

Xiao Feng, battered and bloodied, his torn clothes hanging in shreds, stood weakly but resolute. With a cold glare, he seized the descending blade with one hand and hissed, "You'll regret this… scoundrel…"

The duke, clearly shaken by this seemingly immortal man, pressed the blade down with brutal force. Xiao Feng's grip widened the wound, crimson blood trickling down the blade's edge.

At that moment, noises arose from the sewer entrance. Bound tightly, Ivy was thrown back into the chamber, several cultists following to imprison her upon a wooden stake once again.

The duke fixed his gaze on Xiao Feng with a feral grin. "Ah, your little lover's been recaptured. Didn't expect that, did you?"

Ivy's eyes widened as she saw Xiao Feng, drenched in blood and battered, unable to fathom the ordeal he had endured. Yet the image of him clutching the blade with one hand left her utterly astonished. She screamed hysterically, "Xiao Feng… Xiao Feng…"

The duke continued mockingly, "Look how your dear girl worries… Guards, tear her clothes off."

Xiao Feng froze at the duke's command, his voice sharp, "You dare?"

"Heh. I could leave her intact, but only if you release your hold on me…"

Xiao Feng's eyes bore into the duke with deadly intent; if looks could kill, the duke would have perished many times over. Yet lacking such powers, his glare held no sway.

Ivy cried out, "Xiao Feng, don't let go! If you do, that blow will sever your arm…"

The duke roared, "What are you waiting for? Strip that woman! From now on, she belongs to us—use her as you please!"

With a cruel laugh, a cultist seized Ivy's collar. "Ha, beauty, you're ours now. Time to serve the brothers well…" With a ripping sound, Ivy's garment was torn open, revealing her pristine, rounded curves beneath a black bra, igniting the lustful flames in those vile men's eyes.
