We all thought it was a common flu but whatever we pulled off the planet with that ice sample has so far marked the end of our voyage. I carried our lead researcher out of the lab towards the med bay after she collapsed as her skin turned a blinding white.
We made it halfway before she started convulsing. I heard her bones snapping and crunching, her muscles tearing apart, all I could do was watch in horror as her body turned into a monster yet still vaguely human. That was the start of it.
I just ran, I knew there was nothing I could do. I don't understand how everything changed so quickly, why am I the only one who hasn't changed?! The…things outside have only gotten louder.
