[Rosie's POV]
He had walked me to the crosswalk, even though the kids intended to tag along, they had a neighbor party to attend to which of course I approved.
But I just didn't feel like leaving yet.
"You can stay over, that's if your stalker alpha agrees" Harry suggested.
"Stop that, Harry," I mused as he was so fond of mocking Damien in my presence.
He took out an envelope from his coat and then placed it in my hand.
"Give this to him and don't open it... It's important," he directed. I turned the envelope up and down, already examining it and really eager to see what's in it.
"How do I know it's not a secret weapon to kill him?" I asked, narrowing my brows at him, and he heaved a sigh while ruffling my hair.
"Don't be too nosy, if I kill him, you'd commit suicide and I'd die of a heartbreak"
I paused as my eyes traced his and I swallowed hard, unable to breathe as he patted my hair slowly to arrange the mess he'd created there.
