First, it sounded like a lullaby, and then my heart melted away like it wasn't seconds. I once detested his appearance.
The way he holds me gently despite sending him away and wanting to blame him for not being able to meet my kids.
I couldn't utter a word, I couldn't even get angry, not with the way he looks at me like I'm his world now.
Not with the way he speaks so comfortably that I'd want to kiss him to seal up his words.
His eyes danced and I could see they were red, holding tears in them.
Even if he must have said this to a thousand of his concubines, I still want to dive into the moment.
He was kneeling for me again, not minding if he commands hundreds of thousands in this pack.
"Princess, let me be your solid ground, the very thing you'd hold on to." he pressed on, and I became emotional, like his words took control of my thoughts.
