Chapter 1 - Born To Be Shamed

'Why are we born?'

Bang!

A punch landed on a white-haired boy's face. He was thin yet bore subtle muscles on many parts of his body.

The punch made his mouth bleed and caused multiple ruptures on his face. Blood marked his sharp and handsome face, but that still couldn't deter anyone's attention from his sky-blue eyes.

"Finally! Come on, Rarga! Kill this dude already!" A man with rat ears and a tail yelled from the stand.

Followed by a man with a robust physique, eclipsing everyone with his height and size. "Rarga should have easily knocked this weak human out. Yet it took him this long to land a hit. You have to give it to him. He is good."

Many others with different distinctive features discussed the fight happening in the center. The arena was drowned in thousands of voices. But none of it entered the white-haired boy's head.

The only thing in his mind was the opponent before him and his continuous doubt.

'Why was I born?'

"Die for me." His opponent, Rarga—a man who was covered in fur and had claws, a mouth, and a tail like a bear—yelled.

Rarga charged towards the white-haired boy, trying to end this fight with just another hit.

'I was born just to live another day.'

Murmuring to himself, the white-haired boy sidestepped, easily dodging Rarga's attack.

Rarga then swiped his hand at the white-haired boy with his sharp claws. The boy quickly held onto Rarga's wrist, making it act like a pole. He jumped over and locked his legs around Rarga's neck in surprise.

'To witness the ascendance of humanity.'

Rarga was shocked. He quickly tried to move the boy away. Unfortunately, the boy used his momentum to drop Rarga on the ground.

Bam

'To continue groveling in front of the new masters of the world.'

Without stopping, the boy twisted Rarga's arm, breaking it completely. Then he chopped at Rarga's neck to end this fight quickly.

'To show my anger to this world!'

"Enough!"

All of a sudden, a hand grabbed the white-haired boy's wrist, stopping him from snapping Rarga's neck.

The boy looked up. The moment he saw the individual, his cold face vanished; instead, a wide smile appeared on his face. If one didn't see the fight earlier, they couldn't have guessed this was the same smiling boy that was about to completely kill a man with ease.

"Sir Yamin, won't the fight finish only when one is dead? If you don't let me kill him, then I have to fight him again." The white-haired boy asked with an innocent look on his face.

Yamin had a pair of short goat horns and horizontal, slanted eyes. Contrary to the white-haired boy, Yamin's face remained the same. Cold without a drop of emotion. "This is my arena. So I am the one who decides who wins or not. And I have seen enough. You have won. Take this and leave."

Yamin threw a bundle of cash before vanishing into thin air.

A trace of envy flashed before the boy's eyes. 'If only I can become a transcendent being too, but alas.'

Afterwards, the boy quickly hurried to his locker room to wear his hoodie and leave this place.

Suddenly, Rarga stood up, clutching his broken arm. "Boy, you are very good. I will remember you. For my arrogance, I didn't know your name before coming to fight. Tell me what your name is."

"Oh, it's okay. It is normal to underestimate humans, and on top of that, I am not a transcendent being either." The white-haired boy said with regret. This made Rarga and all the other audience members in the arena have annoyance written on their faces.

The boy saw that he poked a bit too deep in the hornet nest, so to leave this place as fast as possible, he quickly answered Rarga.

"My name is Khaos. Nice to meet you, everyone." Khaos vanished inside the arena with his hand waving at everyone.

However, his name caused a bit of chaos in the arena.

"Is he the Unkillable Khaos? I never thought he was a human."

"Well, it isn't your fault. How can one believe humans can produce such prodigy?"

"Hey, there is a reason they are still alive and kicking. The big guns that come out of this race are all elites, or are they all garbage with no in-between."

"And this is why they are not masters of their own world. Also, what elites? They are nothing in front of us."

"Yes, they still can't compete with us."

"Yeah, yeah. What can these dogs do against their master?"

"Oi, who are you calling dogs?"

"Uhh…"

Khaos wasn't there to listen to all of these, but it didn't matter, as he wouldn't miss much. He had listened to such things for years. Nothing they told was new.

Khaos was now walking on the dirt road that led to his house. From time to time he would look at the broken wooden houses beside him. However, they had digital wirings and circuits running. Giving it a soft, futuristic touch. The shops sold foods made of different alien ingredients while still having the old touch of the earth. Everyone on the streets carried various types of weapons with them.

"Hey, sweetie~ Wanna taste this sister?" Suddenly a melodic voice entered Khaos's ears, halting his steps. He looked to his left side and saw a blonde woman with bombastic proportions winking at him. She was wearing the thinnest bikini, not daring to hide a single spot of her.

She was a human, and for human girls of this era, the best way to live and earn money was to sell their bodies to people of other races.

However, they wouldn't take human customers, as the other races don't like to taste something that is tainted with human touch. So, Khaos was surprised as to why this woman was calling him.

Khaos was about to ask, pointing his finger at him, when a short man with the features of a rat walked ahead of him.

He ripped the woman's bikini and took the woman to his shoulder. He licked her ass while fingering the deepest sauce out of her.

Few human children passed by him at that moment, but they paid no heed, as they were accustomed to it. As everyone knows, humans were meant to be used by their masters however they wanted.

Khaos let out a sigh before looking at the bright, blazing sun. "Just burn this world alive instead of living with such shame."
