"Miss Alana?"
The sound of her name being called halted Alana mid-step just as she was about to enter the canteen. The word floated through the air, calm yet commanding enough to make her turn. Her brows furrowed slightly as she pivoted around, only to find herself facing a man she instantly recognized.
Tall, well-dressed, with sharp features that looked sculpted to perfection, he stood with his hands casually tucked in his pockets, a disarming smile curving his lips.
It was him.
The same man who had made that scene that day, the one who had proposed to Avery in front of everyone, only to be rejected.
Her fingers tightened slightly around the strap of her bag. What on earth is he doing here? This wasn't even his campus. And more importantly, how did he know her name?
