Kai attacked the beast, punching it in its large head once more, then flew under it and licked it in the belly.
Nadya made sure to help out using her magic to bind the beast if it tried to attack Kai. However, she noticed that each time she tried to use magic on it, her spells would decay and then break.
She quickly realized that the beast was eating away at the time of her spells.
"Kai, I can't use my magic on this beast!" She flew out of the reach of the beast, avoiding attacks that looked fatal.
"Really?" Kai grabbed the tail and tossed the beast away. "Try time magic, maybe that would work."
"Behind you!"
"Huh?" A tail wrapped around Kai's waist and pulled him away from Nadya.
"Ahhhhhhhahahahaha! Sike motherfucker!" Grabbing the tail, Kai pulled the beast toward him, coated his fist with fire, then punched the beast so hard that its exoskeleton cracked.
"I cracked time!" He shouted in triumph. "Quickly, Nadya, try and seal it!"
