It was dusk when Gwen saw the village nearby. Birds that flew at the same elevation as her challenged Gwen to a glide-off, seeing who could glide the longest. Unfortunately for the birds, Gwen could use magic to keep herself afloat, so she won the contest.
Some of the birds landed on her, needing a nice break from flying. They were centered around Kyana since she felt the most like nature to them, being an elf and all.
"We're nearly there."
On her back, Kai was sleeping with Nadya wrapped in his arms, sleeping as well. He thought it would be a good time to get some sleep since he was lacking. Sleep wasn't needed, but it still made him feel better, at least it felt that way.
"Finally! What are we doing here anyway?" Amaya was ready to touch the ground and fight some monsters, but she didn't know what this village had to do with that.
