Chapter 7 - Archival 7: Journey Toward the Discordant World!

Buster sighed as he walked out of the portal, finally completing his greatest work yet. "Bmon, get in here! And bring your friends!" He shouted.

Bmon ran up into the lab. "Yo, what the hell are you shouting about?-" He paused as he noticed the portal. "...Nevermind." Daisuke and Kana came up shortly after and had the same reaction.

"You see, I have built a portal that lets you travel to different universes! In other words… I guess you could call it a "Multi-Universal Portal"." He explained.

Bmon glanced at the portal and then back at Buster. "...You do realize, ANYTHING could be beyond that portal, right?" He questioned skeptically.

"...Yes, that's why I checked beforehand. I asked the locals and they seemed to call their world, "The Discordant World". I'm not sure where they got that name from though…" He explained.

"...Wait, are you about to ask us to go into that?" Daisuke pointed at the portal.

"I don't see why you would have any reason to refuse… Have you ever played an RPG before?" Buster asked the three. Bmon and Daisuke shook their heads, however Kana just stood there questioning what an "RPG" was.

"...Right the time traveller. Basically an RPG is a game where you fight enemies and level up, and they have a lot of plot." He explained. "Oh… I think I get it." Kana responded.

"Fine, we will go into your stupid portal." Daisuke walked into it before anyone could say anything back. "W-Wait, he's just gonna walk into it like it's normal?" Buster questioned.

"See you later, Buster, We are just gonna do whatever the heck we want on the other side of this portal." Bmon laughed as both him and Kana went through the portal, leaving Buster there to wonder if he should've let them go in.

"...Well I have a drone on the other side that will follow them. So it should be fi-" Without any warning, a large BOOM! sound was heard throughout the entirety of Jimmens. Buster opened the roof of the lab and glanced outside.

"...What in the HELL was that?" He glanced around and noticed smoke coming from the park.

"...It probably isn't important. Maybe." Buster sighed and went back to a monitor that was displaying what the drone sees within the Discordant World.

Meanwhile, in Jimmens National Park. The boy from the abandoned temple had crashed onto the ground. "Oww… I should really get used to landing…" He got up and noticed a lot of locals glancing at him.

"...Does anyone here know where a boy named "Bmon" lives?" He asked the locals, however the locals just quietly left the park.

"...Damn it… I guess it's not gonna be that easy." He began to walk around the city of Jimmens to gather info.

Bmon and Kana had come out of the portal and looked around. "Wow… This world is very… open." Kana pointed out.

"Right. I can see a town over there so maybe we should go there?" Bmon questioned before he turned around and immediately noticed someone who looked exactly like him was staring at him.

"...Why are you in this world? Don't you have your own world to be in?" He questioned.

Bmon glared at him for a moment. "And who are you supposed to be?"

"I am you, quite literally, my name is also Bmon. I'm the Bmon from this world." He explained.

"...So, does every universe have a Bmon? Or are you just-" Bmon stopped whilst thinking.

"Seems like you figured it out, this world is the result of Naheeno's sunglasses recreating your universe, roughly 5 more times." He told him.

Bmon eyes widened. "Wait, does that mean there's something in my universe that poses a threat to his sunglasses?"

"Well… I'm not allowed to tell you that, you have to figure that out on your own. You've probably already met one of your problems already though."

"...The thing that broke the tv." Bmon thought aloud. "Yeah. That's one of your problems, however there are two more problems that caused my universe to be recreated like this." He explained.

"Anyway… I'm gonna go, I just wanted to make sure you weren't up to something. Please, don't somehow end up destroying this world." The Bmon from this world walked away.

"...How would we end up doing that?" Bmon mumbled. Daisuke glanced at Bmon before speaking. "I know this is probably a weird time to mention this, but did you notice that there's an island in the sky?" He asked.

"The hell you mean there's an island in the sk-" Bmon paused as he looked up and saw the island. "...Yeah, I guess I should've expected there to be an island in the sky."

"How the hell would we get up there…?" Daisuke pondered.

"Well, we could always use my Archive, but I don't know how well it would work in a different universe… Though, I think it would work, because Guardian once told me that my ability can be used to travel to different universes just like how Buster's portal lets us go to this universe." He pointed out.

Suddenly, a dragon flew by. "Woah! Look, a dragon!" Kana exclaimed before glancing at Bmon. "Could I kill it?"

Bmon paused. "...Why would the first thing you ask when you see a dragon, is if you could KILL the dragon?" He facepalmed.

"...I have a history with dragons, kind-of… My family hates dragons, because one took the life of one of my ancestors…" She explained.

"...Fair enough, let's just walk to that town… No killing any dragons, Kana."

They began walking toward the town. Unaware that there was something peculiar about the dragon they saw, it flew away after glancing at the portal.

Back in Jimmens, the boy had no leads on where Bmon could be. He noticed a cyclops walking by, it was Samuel.

"You, do you know the whereabouts of a Bmon?" He glared at Samuel.

"Oh, you mean Fukumoto Bmon? Yeah I know where he is, he's my friend after all, did you know he caused something called "The Power-Grid Incident" a few years ba-"

"Shut up and tell me where this Bmon is." He stopped Samuel from continuing, Samuel sighed. "He lives over there, you can't miss his house as it looks unlike every other house." Samuel pointed east.

The boy nodded, and walked toward the lead he had just gotten. "Bmon… I won't let you have what is supposed to be mine…" He mumbled to himself.
