Walking a little bit longer, Shurry reached the guild, along with the rest of his current group. He ignored the busy state the guild was in, sensing that she was in fact here, carrying a stronger will within her.
Some random guy moved out of the way of the man he saw as a hero, and inspiration… This created another similar, parting of the sea so to speak. And there really wasn't any doubt in who was coming.
Just like the day before, Rose grabbed all of the documents, and ledgers she'd need to make any sort of business transaction. And met Shurry without the counter in the way. However, her expression was clearly different, her determination had not faltered, even though she saw Ardee clinging to him, she couldn't, no, she wouldn't give up.
"What can I do for you today, my Alpha?"
Rose asked, she kept up with the release of that same, unmistakable scent of absolute arousal and expectation. Neze, also a werewolf, could tell just how strong the scent was.
"Wow Shurry, she's really got that scent."
"Indeed…"
"Of course I do! It's mating season, and the best mate around is standing right here, my Alpha."
"Pfft, it's always a wonderful thing, finding someone to cherish."
Shurry's response started vague, as he glanced at Ardee, the two smiling at each other, and then, they turned to face Rose.
"Rose, if you're alright being the fourth, and the last, then I'll welcome you…"
Rose's expression brightened. And Hathor spoke next.
"Rose dear, I'm here in support of this. However, you'd best start getting to work on those puppies as soon as you can! That's my requirement for you."
"Is that all?"
Rose looked at all four of the women in sequence. Her tail betraying the need to hide those feelings, the guild documents, and books fell from her hands, caught by Shurry's moonlight, lifted, and placed on a surface behind the counter.
"Rose, I was happy yesterday, when you came forward like that, it was amazing. I respect that… It made me see the potential for pups between us. So… What I'm saying is, be my wife, and feel safe knowing, there won't be anymore."
Shurry said, catching the stumbling, and emotionally overwhelmed Rose using his one free arm. Rose took that chance, got close, and licked his lips.
"If I didn't accept?"
"Then there would never be a fourth."
"Good… Then I'm going with you, let's see the pups we make."
The other adventurers in the guild had mixed feelings about this. On the one hand they all had the hots for Rose, as well as knowing that there literally wasn't a single person in all of Orario who was better than the man she'd ended up with.
"That family will be graced with many young ones."
"So, who's going to take Miss Fannett's place in the guild?"
Royman had finally come out, now met with the sight of one of his best employees making out with the hero who saved the city. This is not going to end well for us…
"Lady Hathor, and our city's hero, the Champion Over Calamity. May I ask-"
"You may, but I won't allow any refusals, Royman." Hathor humphed, turning her nose up to the side, and crossing her arms.
"It's just Rose, is one of my best employees."
"Guild Master, Royman, everything will be fine. We'll pick up the slack somehow."
"But Rehmer-"
"Do you want to be responsible for stopping the Alpha's wife?"
Royman gulped. If I did that, the guild would have to directly face the Hathor familia. We don't have anywhere near enough forces to pull that off. Or lives for that matter. Even so, the optics of one of our best employees leaving…
"I'll allow this. However, you'll need to announce publicly that this has absolutely nothing to do with time working at the guild, and that you're just moving on to a new stage of your life, with your lover. Meaning, you'll need to leave the guild."
"That won't be a problem. I already came to terms with that. This is something I believe my mother would support too."
"I'm afraid that won't be enough, my remaining employees will have to work harder to make up for the loss of Rose." Royman said he got a lot of crummy looks. "I won't ask for any payment now. Only that amount we agreed to yesterday, be forgiven."
Rose turned to look at Royman with a deadly glare, as if ready to kill him for such an amount.
"Fine."
Shurry's simple response caught the guild off guard, the other employees who knew the amount gulped. The adventurers, not knowing the amount, but knowing that if the guild couldn't pay it, it had to be steep, some shivered as their imaginations ran wild.
"Thank you-"
"No, Thank you, for I am the one who's gained something of value today. The only thing left to decide is where you want to be, to get your falna?"
Rose waited for a moment, and then came up with the place she thought of, and led the group there. It was a small room in the back of the guild, it had a small bed that Rose immediately went to.
"Right here. This is the place my mother and I stayed until finding a place of our own. Where she told me all the stories of alphas in the past." Rose smiled, crying… "If there's anywhere that holds special meaning to me, it's here. I'd like to carry this place with me everywhere."
"This is a good place, I'm sure you'll carry it with you. I'll grant you my blessing here and now, everyone out. Let this be a private pact-"
"Lady Hathor, could I have my family here for this?"
"You want to?"
"Yes, I want to show my husband our bond."
Hathor smiled, and Neze made sure that the only people in the room were meant to be there, and then shut the door. Alfia used her magic to make the room soundproof. Ardee went up to Rose, and held her hands.
"You're a beautiful woman, sister Rose." Ardee stood on her toes, and gave Rose a short kiss on the lips. "Welcome to the family."
"I- I-"
"Pfft."
"Your lips, they're so soft, and warm."
"All the better to kiss my husband with."
Rose smiled, knowing there was more to that statement than what was said. It was more like, all the better to kiss with, not just her husband, but her sister wives too. Rose removed her vest, bow tie, blouse, and bra. She stood there, proud of herself, expecting a comment from the new husband she found herself with. She got a tail wag from both him, and her sister wife Neze, to which Rose smirked, licking her lips seductively.
"Rose, lay down, and I'd give you my blessing."
"Right, Lady- Mother Hathor."
"Pfft, there you go."
Rose laid face down on the small bed which she'd used to be coddled up with her own mother in. When Hathor's blood ichor fell, a powerful surge of power rose up from her soul, the potential she'd held, locked deep within, came flooding to the surface like a raging current.
