Lilith and Hunter both gave sharp nods, their faces grim and serious, and they instantly started running further toward the base, following Axel's lead. They moved quickly across the remaining open ground until Axel signaled them to drop and take cover behind a massive, moss covered rock formation directly in front of the structure.
From behind the temporary shield, Axel watched the house intently. The structure looked as dilapidated as possible; the paint was peeling, windows were boarded up with splintered wood, and the roof sagged slightly. It looked perfectly like a normal, rusted out warehouse scheduled for reconstruction or demolition.
