Chapter 33 - 33.Selling 'second-hand' clothes, genius Alvida!

Hey readers, I need your help.

So another author is posting this story, and his book is now available in the powerstone ranking.

I started earlier than him, so I really don't know how he best me to it, nonetheless i want to push this to the rankings and beat his book, so please help me.

I really don't like to trade powerstone for chapters as I think those are a way of showing appreciation and not a current, but for this, if we beat him, i will publish bonus chapters.

Thank you for reading this, enjoy the chapter.

PS He has 65 on the time I am publishing this

Upon hearing this number, everyone else's brains went "buzz," instantly shutting down, completely unable to process it.

The air was silent, with only Ron standing calmly in place, not showing the slightest surprise on his face.

After all, it was the first live stream, and with Hancock's beauty, she could captivate anyone, regardless of gender or age. Getting some gifts was too easy.

This was without Hancock even doing anything. If she were to do something casually, the earnings would likely be far more than this.

This was also the first time Hancock had seen so much money. Even though she had no concept of money, she still knew that five billion was an astronomical figure.

"Ron... Lord Ron, there's actually... so much money..." Hancock's voice trembled slightly, her beautiful eyes filled with shock.

Ron smiled. "Take some out. Improving the lives of the people in the country is also your responsibility as a ruler."

"Mhm mhm~~" Hancock's pretty face was flushed. "Is Lord Ron showing concern for me?"

Ron: ...

This is truly a love-struck brain!

The second sister, Marigold, smiled and looked at Elder Nyon. "Elder Nyon, how much money do we need right now to ensure our citizens can eat their fill?"

"Hmm..." Elder Nyon thought for a moment, then held up two fingers. "Twenty million is enough, but if you want them to live better, you'll need more."

"Only twenty million? I will give you two hundred million!" Hancock then clicked on the TikTok backend to withdraw, entered two hundred million, and saw a small black vortex suddenly appear below Hancock's phone.

Immediately after, bundles of banknotes rustled and fell out of it, stopping only when they piled up into a small mountain in front of the four of them.

"Hiss..." Elder Nyon gasped, looking at the small mountain of Berries in front of her in shock. She was truly convinced. So playing on phones and watching videos really made this much money!

Immediately, she looked at the three and stated, "It was this old woman who misunderstood you. I didn't expect that watching videos and live streaming could make so much money. It's all because my thinking was too old-fashioned. From now on, this old woman will not interfere in your affairs."

Saying this, Elder Nyon directly pounced into the pile of money, looking at the banknotes, picking up a bundle to count, and even checking for fakes. She found that all the money was real!

"Hahaha, from now on, the women of Amazon Lily won't have to go out to sea to be pirates! This is great!"

Seeing Elder Nyon's happy appearance, the three women exchanged glances, all seeing the joy in each other's eyes. They understood in their hearts that all of this was thanks to Ron.

The group walked together to Ron, bowing respectfully.

"Lord Ron, you are truly the lucky star and benefactor of our Amazon Lily!" The second sister, Marigold, said with a slight choke in her voice, her eyes filled with gratitude.

"You saved us three sisters over a decade ago, and now you've saved our entire country!" The third sister, Sandersonia, also said excitedly, her voice trembling slightly as she tried to control her emotions.

"And you've simultaneously solved our worries. Let's think about it ourselves, we won't have to go out to sea as pirates, we won't have to risk our lives fighting for the right to live."

Elder Nyon's face also straightened, and she jumped out of the pile of money. She bowed solemnly to Ron and thanked him. "Ron, thank you so much."

"What are you all doing? Get up quickly." Ron was flustered by their actions, a slightly awkward smile on his face. "We're all helping each other out. Talking about thanks is too formal."

Then, he changed the subject. "That... uh... let's hurry and make the clothes. It's best to promote the craftswomen's skills more and get more people to join."

"Later, find a contract factory, and you can take a commission from them. Otherwise, with orders in the tens of millions, who knows when you'll finish."

Hearing Ron say this, everyone looked at each other, shaking their heads to show they were a bit confused. They could understand the first part, but not the latter.

"Lord Ron, what's a contract factory? What's a commission? We don't understand." The second sister, Marigold, was full of confusion, with a hint of bewilderment in her eyes.

"Yes, I don't understand either," Hancock also said.

It involved their blind spots of knowledge again. Ron smiled slightly, then began to explain the professional knowledge in this area to them.

"A contract factory is very simple. It's..."

After Hancock's live stream ended, the entire trend on TikTok was completely changed.

One out of every three videos was a beautiful woman!

Cheongsams also became the main style of these videos, simply because they were the same style as the Empress's cheongsam.

Moreover, they had grasped the traffic password. It seemed that as long as they wore a cheongsam, the likes would be high, and wearing the Empress's same-style cheongsam would cause traffic to surge!

At this moment, on a certain sea area near Loguetown, a pink pirate ship was slowly sailing.

On the ship, Alvida, who had eaten the Slip-Slip Fruit, had transformed from a fat old woman into a slender, voluptuous beauty.

Sunlight shone on her, reflecting her confident and proud smile.

Suddenly, a scream burst from inside the cabin, startling the two brothers, Blackpoke and Bellpoke, who were cleaning the deck.

They suddenly looked up, exchanging panicked glances.

"What's wrong? What happened to the Captain!" Blackpoke asked loudly, his broom almost falling to the ground.

"I don't know. It seems like ever since she got that iron block, she hasn't been quite normal," Bellpoke replied softly, a hint of confusion in his eyes.

"It's that thing called a phone, right? That thing is really addictive. Captain Alvida has been playing with it from morning till night," Blackpoke lowered his voice and continued.

"What's outrageous is that Captain Alvida even twists and turns in front of that thing! It's too creepy!" Bellpoke couldn't help but shiver, as if recalling a previous scene.

As the two were whispering, they suddenly saw Captain Alvida walk out wearing a pink cheongsam, with a beaming smile on her face and her eyes full of pride.

"Hahaha, excellent! It wasn't in vain that I was among the first to place an order. My foresight is indeed the most far-reaching in the entire sea!" Alvida looked at the cheongsam on her body with satisfaction. It was the Empress's same style!

Without a doubt, she had placed the order last night after watching the live stream, much earlier than others, and she was farsighted!

When the cheongsam truly became popular, if you wanted to buy one, you'd have to wait until next year.

And she would be the first pirate to seize this wave of traffic!

"Hey, you two, come here and help me hold my phone!" Alvida suddenly called out.

Upon hearing this, the two immediately tensed up. They quickly jogged over, holding up the phone, acting as a phone stand.

Then, Alvida began to dance a popular dance she had just recently learned!

Although she had only learned for a few minutes and hadn't grasped the essence yet, being beautiful was more effective than anything else.

Most importantly, her figure was also excellent, instantly improving the quality of a dance that wasn't originally well-performed!

"I still need three hundred more followers, and then I can also live stream, and I'll have a shopping cart. What should I sell then?"

Alvida thought for a moment. She definitely had to sell something that others hadn't sold before.

Things like clothes... no, those things were already monopolized by the Amazon Lily Kingdom. No one could outsell them.

Just then, her gaze fell on the cheongsam on her body, and an idea suddenly sparked: sell "used" clothes, with the main selling point being that she had worn them!

Surely those old perverts would compete to buy them!

She, Alvida, would definitely become famous!

And she must also get the official TikTok verified title!

"Hahaha, I need to gain followers quickly! I must be one step ahead of others!"

Then, she looked at the two and ordered, "You two, have you followed me on TikTok?"

"Huh?? Cap... Captain, what... what's a TikTok account?" The two looked bewildered, completely unaware of what Captain Alvida was talking about.

"Hmm?" Seeing their confused expressions, Alvida suddenly remembered that they didn't have phones yet.

She sighed inwardly. What era was this? Anyone without a phone wasn't even fit to be her subordinate. She might as well buy them a phone as a year-end bonus.

The moment this thought appeared, she froze, her whole body trembling slightly with excitement as if struck by lightning. A bold idea emerged!

Immediately, she was ecstatic in her heart!

That's right!

She was currently short of over three hundred followers. As long as she bought over three hundred phones, gave them to those who didn't have phones, and had them register and follow her, wouldn't that work?!

"Hiss..." She thought carefully. It seemed like it could actually work! The TikTok creators didn't say you couldn't buy phones for others, right?!

Thinking this, Alvida stood at the bow of the ship and laughed wildly. "Let's go, let's go! Set off for Loguetown! I'll buy you phones! One for each of you!"

"Buy phones?" The two exchanged glances, a shiver running through them.

The Captain went crazy because she looked at a phone. Would they also...

But disobeying the Captain's order would mean death. So the two exchanged glances, and with mournful faces and a look of facing death, they roared, "Yes, Captain!"

"Set off! Buy phones!"
