Chapter 21 - Chapter 19: God!

"They've breached!"

"They've breached!"

The Church's Holy Knights, solemn and dignified, finally defeated the National Defense Army, creating a gap and entering the city's interior.

The entire Kingdom Army was routed, crumbling like a mountain, as the Church's knight army quickly led the faithful to occupy the entire Royal City.

"To the Tower of Babel! Emperor Atabia is there! Go and hang him!"

The Cardinal shouted.

They quickly arrived at the massive Tower of Babel, the twenty-sixth floor just completed, with the Emperor sitting atop, watching the Holy Knights below as they prepared to climb the tower.

Emperor Atabia's voice was calm, looking down with some pity and some sadness, "I've always felt that recently, an Outer God brought upon us the third Great Civilization Extinction."

"Absurd!"

A Holy Knight was furious, saying:

"The God decided to try forgiving the people on earth because of the believers. The great flood and the purple light destroyed the world, but there hasn't been another destruction of those on earth. We've maintained peace and are still alive! Where's the third one?"

"Some people are alive, but they're already dead."

Emperor Atabia looked down at the unruly traitors before him and simply said: "This extinction is unique. It's not about destroying our bodies, but our will."

"You should know, each extinction eliminates seventy percent of life. And what you might not know is that seventy percent of the people following the Church are also included."

The crowd was shocked, this number seemed coincidental, wasn't it implying they were the 'mentally dead' seventy percent?

"Faith gives us reliance!"

Below, a Cardinal was instantly furious, pointing at the Tyrant in the sky: "Sinner, you are misleading people. You—"

Thud.

The next moment.

The Tower of Babel seemed alive, as if it were a special living entity. The window on the first floor extended a giant curved rib bone and smashed the Cardinal to death.

"What?"

All the Holy Knights showed a look of horror.

Wasn't this Tower of Babel supposed to be a structure, but instead a massive exoskeleton creature?

"You are all such fools, so easily manipulated." Emperor Atabia bowed his head, as if this sage of civilization was murmuring:

"I've been thinking recently, constantly thinking, this extinction is incredibly terrifying, far surpassing the previous two destructions because it destroys human hearts, not flesh."

"I have witnessed the world submerge in the great flood with open eyes."

"Also once in full purple light, watched their cries decay while helpless, but the mourning of the first two was far from the most painful."

He expressionlessly suddenly said:

"Because now, this third time, is the most tragic era."

"In this third extinction, It wants me to personally slaughter you all, to slaughter seventy percent of the current Atabians."

His gaze suddenly looked afar, as if he saw the Deity beyond the world, atop the Celestial Vault, their gaze icy cold, treating all life as chess pieces, not only killing the people's spirit but also stifling his battle intent.

Emperor Atabia suddenly laughed: "The Outer God above is cruel, this is his venomous curse for me, this earthly Human Emperor, forcing me to become a true Tyrant, compelling me to kill seventy percent of my own people... mutual slaughter, this is punishment for the Atabians, and the destiny planned by Gods for me, this earthly Tyrant wanting to slay God."

The crowd trembled, was God really so malicious? Had they already prepared a future for Atabians, making this rebellious race start to slaughter each other? Even the people besiege this king? Pinning him, a mortal leader resisting God, onto the post of shame forever to be reviled?

"Tyrant, do not mislead us!" A devout Knight stepped forward and shouted.

"You wish to destroy civilization, how enormous is seventy percent of our populace? You are betrayed by all, and are not our God, how could you possess such world-shattering might?"

These fanatics are high-ranking and have long been unmoved.

"Yes, yes, you cannot be reasoned with..." Emperor Atabia said softly atop the Tower of Babel, gripping the armrests of the Skull Throne with both hands.

"Then there's no need to talk further." He suddenly smiled slightly while sitting on the throne, as if operating something on a control panel.

Crack.

Crack.

The windows of the towering tower extended giant muscle tendrils like octopus arms, crushing all the Red Priests and Holy Knights besieging him, blood gradually seeping into the ground.

"Let's start!"

Clearing the surrounding Church army, Emperor Atabia said: "Everyone, there's no need to grieve. Flesh builds civilization, the Church is not our enemy, an enemy is higher up in the sky."

"Begin the God Slaying plan!"

"Declare war on the Outer God!"

"Seconded!"

Clearing despair and struggle, within the Tower of Babel, voices became firm again.

Numerous wise men throughout the twenty-six floors hurriedly moved around, each performing their duties, initiating this huge biological project.

Crack!

The towering body of the Tower of Babel suddenly moved.

Using the spine as the core.

Ribs appeared on the tower windows.

A skull appeared at the top of the tower.

A pelvis appeared below the tower.

A majestic and vast Bone Giant was slowly being born, like a fast-forwarded scene of a pig crazily growing after eating hormones for twenty days.

Boom!

The earth began to tremble.

All cities of the Sea Kingdom beneath Atabia collapsed swiftly like casually built toy blocks.

"What is that?"

In the city, the Holy See Guard, still sweeping away remnants, suddenly looked up in stupefaction: "A size comparable to the Giant God!"

"No, it's not just comparable. It is indeed another... God!!!" someone shouted.

The Tower of Babel was standing up, the giant's bones covering the initial meridians, massive flesh rapidly rolling over, the terrifying, sprawling size pressing down on everyone, making it hard to breathe.

Crack

The earth boomed and trembled.

This was an epic giant surrounded by clouds and mist, strong and massive, being born!

The 26-story white Tower of Babel is precisely the twenty-six central vertebrae of a human being!

Everyone stared dazedly at the sky, at the Tower of Babel, as a realization dawned upon them:

"The Tower of Babel, created by all of humanity working together, was enough to astonish and enrage the Gods because it truly opened the staircase to the world of Gods."

In the distance.

The forewarned Pope did not enter the Royal City.

But witnessing this incredible scene from the command post outside the city, he let out an angry roar: "Emperor Atabia! That madman, that crazy engineer! How dare he desecrate the Gods! Civilization has only developed for a few days, yet he is already attempting to become... a Deity himself!"

"Impossible!"

"Unforgivable!"

"Indeed, an ambitious Tyrant! That crazy fellow! He will undoubtedly destroy us! The God will completely vent their fury on the whole earth, ushering in the final day of judgment!"

Angry voices followed one after another.

The entire Church Knight Order across the earth was utterly shocked.

Gazing at the sky, everyone felt an indescribable heaviness and shock inside.

The Tower of Babel.

This would surpass all mythological stories, surpass all epic legends, like a miracle formed by countless destiny and providence.

Above the clouds.

Emperor Atabia sat on the Skull Throne, overlooking the surging seawater below. Like in a good mood, he was singing:

"The great extinction of life is a magnificent romance. It causes the tidal waves of life to rush in, overthrowing the arrogance and injustice of nature."

The Skull Palace, like a world of the Celestial Country, he sat high above in the misty clouds, on the Neural Throne of the Neuronal Central Hub, reached his arm out towards the direction of the Crystal Wall, slowly grasped the void, grinning:

"Kingdoms too rush like tides."

"The tide of single-cell organisms that rushed ashore has yet to return to its extinction and has evolved into the Tower of Babel, creating a shell that angrily roars at the sky."

Surrounding endless white light cascades down.

That is an Emperor who rules the entire world, embodying the highest wisdom of the entire civilization. He is entirely transparent, with silvery gene strands faintly emanating light within him.

"Starting to adjust the texture."

Crack!

The giant's body swayed, slowly tilting its head upwards. Its massive skeletal frame was yet to grow flesh but was already standing shakily.

This very moment is destined to be remembered throughout history.

Like the first ape born in human history, standing on a boulder, letting out a silent roar!

On the plum blossom brow of this giant's body, a man no bigger than an ant controlling the giant from the Plum Blossom Throne slowly stood up, this civilization's Saint looked at the huge Outer God beyond the Crystal Wall.

The Emperor spread his arms wide as if embracing the whole world, smiled: "The enemy has never been the people of Atabia. All wars and conflicts, today are about to formally begin."

"The true enemy is you, Outer God."

In early ancient times, a great Emperor of the Empire called upon the people of earth to build the Tower of Babel. His God Slaying War had already begun.
