Aurelia Shaw realized that she truly loved blushing; teasing her was quite amusing.
Even as she left the venue, the corners of Aurelia Shaw's mouth were still curved up, her eyes sparkling with joyful fragments of light.
"This happy?" Mason Nightshade asked, looking at her proud little expression, unable to resist the urge to smooth her hair, but reconsidered that she might brush him off, so he suppressed the thought.
"Just so-so," Aurelia Shaw replied casually.
Although she said that, Mason Nightshade could feel her mood; today's banquet was arranged just for her.
She suddenly stopped, looking ahead.
Mason Nightshade looked over and then knew what made her unhappy. He reached out to wrap his arm around her waist, pulling her into his embrace, releasing a cold aura that instantly made the approaching reporters step back.
But they still wouldn't let go of the big news in front of them.
