Scene: Astral Academy – Central Arena
The stadium floor trembled slightly even before the match began.
Mira, known for her powerful Earth affinity and crushing brute strength, walked calmly toward the center.
Her short brown hair swayed as heavy gauntlets clicked onto her wrists—each etched with sigils of stone and iron.
Across from her, Anay stepped out again—his third consecutive match, and still calm as ever.
Some students leaned forward, whispering:
"Mira's Wing B's tank—her defense is insane."
"Can Anay even hurt her?"
Match Begins
3… 2… 1…
Mira didn't wait.
She stomped the ground, and massive stone pillars shot up in a wide arc like an avalanche.
Anay leapt between them with casual agility, spinning his glaive once.
Mira: "You've had good matches. But this is as far as you go."
She slammed both fists into the ground—Earthquake Pulse—sending shockwaves through the arena, cracking tiles and throwing Anay slightly off balance.
"Anima."
Anay shrunk his body weight, minimizing the tremors. His movements became feather-light, and he dashed toward her through the dust cloud.
Mira: "You're fast, but you can't break through—"
She raised a rock shield just in time, but—
CLANG!
Anay's glaive pulsed with controlled spiritual energy, and with a clean arc, he split the shield, the cut glowing with purple light.
Mira Goes All Out
Now serious, Mira roared—and encased her arms and legs in full earth armor, leaping with unexpected speed.
BOOM!
Her gauntlet crashed down where Anay had been a second ago, cratering the arena.
Mira: "You'll break before I do."
She unleashed Stone Lancer Barrage, hundreds of sharpened earth spikes exploding from below.
Anay narrowed his eyes.
"Siddhi: Ishita – Will Manipulation."
He twisted the direction of the spikes midair subtly—enough to slip between them untouched.
He flashed behind her and whispered:
Anay: "Sorry."
Then used the flat side of his glaive to knock her feet from under her and tapped her neck with a precision strike.
Her armor shattered and she landed, dazed.
Winner: Anay
The crowd stood, stunned.
Even Mira slowly pushed herself up and offered a grunt, half annoyed, half impressed.
Mira: "You're the calmest showoff I've ever met."
Anay (smiling softly): "You made me move faster than I wanted to."
She laughed once and gave him a fist bump before walking off.
With Mira defeated, Anay remained undefeated, earning growing respect—even from those in Wing B who once underestimated him.
Then suddenly someone came in the battlefield Naman
Naman: I was waiting for this
Anay give a smile
