We rolled over each other for hours, following the movement of the drum. I could feel my entire body throbbing at the discomfort, and my head too.
I knew I'd feel more pain when all of these were over, but it was nothing compared to the satisfaction I would get from completing my mission at Unity pack.
The drum stopped rolling after a long time, and we all let out a sigh of relief. It was one hell of a ride, and we were relieved that it was over now.
"What now?" Gustavus asked in the darkness. I knew he was talking to me, and referring to my presence here. But I had no intention to give an answer to it. They would see for themselves.
The metal lid of the drum was forcefully pulled open to reveal that it outside the drum was nearly as dark as inside it.
